Yes there is not problem in betting on the same game. You just can't bet more than once on the same outcome, even if at diferent odds, as we will only consider the first one.

The odds would be simply based on the ROI of each participant and because that DirectBet offer live-betting then this would be possible.  This is only day 1 and some participants havent bet anything yet but I suppose there could be some action to bet on there especially nearing the last day then I would expect alot more live-in betting
Noticed some fun part in this competition, it seems some players are betting with only parlay trying to boost their luck with 10x odds and some are using live-in betting while some love to play with risky odds

As Joca pointed out, live bets count for the competition.
A good way to see if anything went wrong with your bet is to check the leaderboard, click on your name and all the betslips that are counting for this competition will be there. So it's a good practice to keep an eye on them.

Don't get me wrong there. This is my first try ever in spots betting, and honestly I don't read news or follow things up. Most of my bets are blind ones (you could guess that from the range of games I am betting, lol), so I'd advice you to do the research before picking a bet.

I would say stick with the established ones as their bets are more conservative. I am being aggressive and got lucky.
