Spending money doesn't give instant result for the team such as Como. however, all of teams who are able to competing in the top competitions have always been spending money. Money is the key when you're willing to see your club to be strong enough competing with another top team.

When a club can't afford to spend in order to strengthen their club. They will always be ended in mediocrity.

I get what you mean. But in my previous reply, I was actually responding to your point about Como spending a lot of money on new signings and being ready to compete in every competition. To me, that's a little too ambitious. They've only just become successful in serie A, so expecting them to challenge on every front right away could put a lot of pressure on the players. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but it'd be a shame if Como tried to fight in every competition, lost their best form in serie A, and ended up finishing around 10th again. That could really hurt the players' confidence.

That's why I think they should focus on serie A first. Once they've built a stronger mentality and established themselves, then they can start aiming to compete for trophies in multiple competitions.

I can't say that Como as a team should focus only in one competitions , so that they can do well I don't think that it's a good idea. The reason is because Como did very well in all the competitions that they were involved in last season, I think that they even got to the semi finals of the coppa Italia last season. That goes to show that they have a very good team that can compete favorably well well at the biggest including the champions League. We have seen teams that did very well in the champions League even with weaker teams especially last season.

Como is still in the process to strengthen their squad for the next season. They're obviously focusing in all of competitions they play. It's the reason they're now trying to sign Chalobah to strengthen their backline as a preparation to play in both serie a and UCL.

FYI, Como's owner has prepared around €100 million - €150 million to invest in the new players as their preparation for their debut in UCL.

They already bought Nico Paz, Yan Couto, and etc. So they're getting serious to competing in all competition next seasons. If they're only focusing in one competition, they would not spend that huge sum of money for the new players.

Unless they get all those transfers perfectly right and that needs a lot of luck, €100 million - €150 million won't bring an average squad to the top. If they do a good job scouting and find some raw diamonds, yes then you can get things done with that amount of money, but it's not like you will be on par with Barcelona and Manchester City. I do believe that we are going to see this become something that would not be a bad deal at all, but at the same time we should not be expecting that much out of this neither. I think it is getting to a point where it would not be all that complicated to see something like this, it's quite normal.

It’s a nice decision for them to focus on Serie A while still competing in the Champions League, because we all know that if they spend that amount of money, they will definitely make good use of it. You are right as a team you need to cope up with multiple competitions but this will require having more than 2 players in the same position or at least two players so that they can be rotational in different competition to avoid less injures among the players because having only same particular players playing in all the competition may not be good at the end because there are time they will start getting tired after involving maybe in 4 competition. Como perform well last season now that they are in the UEFA Champions league they also need to add more quality players in other to compete with other good teams in the league.

The upcoming season will be very difficult for Como. Como is not a very experienced team. They are new to the serie A platform. Even so, the team performed well last season and qualified for the champions league. But it will undoubtedly be very difficult for como to perform well this season. You have said it all regarding italian league because honestly for the past three seasons now I only find it very difficult to determine the winner of the season, what I mean is that I find very difficult to predict the winner of the trophy at the end of the season, Italian league is not like Bundesliga, ligue 1 and also La Liga, in this league I mentioned you can easily predict the winner of the trophy especially two among them which are bundeslig and Ligue 1, Bayern Munich always take the lead and Paris Saint-Germain always do the same thing, in La Liga a Theater between two teams real Madrid and Barcelona. This is why they are even ranked the second among five top league in the world.

La liga is not such a league that you can predict who is going to win the league at the beginning of the season,  we have teams like Barcelona,  Madrid and some other teams that are gradually becoming top team in that league and are also putting in some effort that is gradually measuring up for a top team.

Ligue 1 and Bundesliga are the two leagues I am sure has that tendency of knowing the winner of the title even from the beginning of the season,  and you will not be exactly wrong with your pick.

It doesn't have to be Pep Guardiola as Juventus coach to get back to winning titles, but finding the right coach which as you say is what they have to do at the moment, and also improve the management, because there might be problems there as well, as Milan did, they overhauled their management at the moment. Take the nearest example, Inter, even though their coach is an inexperienced coach, namely Chivu, they still won the title, so Juventus need to find out what the real problem is with them so as not to blame only the coach if they fail.

Como have excellent players who understands the importance of team work which made them to qualify for the champions League now as a first timer they will have more challenges in their first appearance but if they have done a background check it will not be very difficult for them if they have an opponent that is in the same level of performance with them. Como should not also be underrated because if they are given any chance we may see them getting to the quarter finals.

The problem is whether Pep wants to be at Juventus because even though Juventus is still one of the strongest clubs in Serie A but we know the resources in Serie A, especially Juventus, are still far from some of the clubs that Pep has trained before so this might be another consideration for Pep.

You cannot say if Como will qualify to the knockout stage through playoffs. We might see them new in the Champions League but don't underestimate them because if they weren't strong, they wouldn't make it to UCL. It doesn't have to be Pep Guardiola as Juventus coach to get back to winning titles, but finding the right coach which as you say is what they have to do at the moment, and also improve the management, because there might be problems there as well, as Milan did, they overhauled their management at the moment. If I haven't heard it wrong, Milan has put Rafael Leão to the transfer list and they are planning to sell him this summer. But this must be because of his decision in the first place. He was already unhappy there.

Cabo Verde has taught me a big lesson never to underestimate any team in a tournament because since they qualify, they are equal to the task.

Sometimes people aren't underestimating Como, they're just being realistic. Just look at all the bigger and more experienced teams that have played in the UCL for years and still failed. Meanwhile, Como have only just qualified for the competition, so expecting them to achieve something extraordinary right away feels a bit unrealistic.

Of course, every team that qualifies for the UCL will be ready to face the challenge, but they also need a winning mentality, It's not only about being ready for the challenge.
