No doubt Como surprised everyone especially when they were getting good results against strong opponents and at the end of the season they got rewarded for performing well as they qualified for the champions League. Next season they are expected to perform even better but they have a bigger challenge now because of their participation in the league and other competition but I wish to see another team doing well like Como at least the top 4 should not be between the well known teams.

When we begin to see small teams doing more than which we expected from them, then we would begin to see that such competition is going to be a tougher one and not being called a farmers league anymore. The Serie A has always been competitive just like the premier league and seeing this new team like Como coming up to actually be at top and competing for the top four of the league to play in an European competition, then it shows the shifting performance heading towards a new era, that which will definitely be a competitive one. If we see more teams coming up again and again for the top four, then this competition will only get more intense than before. In the champions league, I may not be expecting so much from them, but that performance they’ve put forth last season will definitely make next season be a big one.

I can't say that Como as a team should focus only in one competitions , so that they can do well I don't think that it's a good idea. The reason is because Como did very well in all the competitions that they were involved in last season, I think that they even got to the semi finals of the coppa Italia last season. That goes to show that they have a very good team that can compete favorably well well at the biggest including the champions League. We have seen teams that did very well in the champions League even with weaker teams especially last season.

Como is still in the process to strengthen their squad for the next season. They're obviously focusing in all of competitions they play. It's the reason they're now trying to sign Chalobah to strengthen their backline as a preparation to play in both serie a and UCL.

FYI, Como's owner has prepared around €100 million - €150 million to invest in the new players as their preparation for their debut in UCL.

They already bought Nico Paz, Yan Couto, and etc. So they're getting serious to competing in all competition next seasons. If they're only focusing in one competition, they would not spend that huge sum of money for the new players.

Dybala, by the way could have left Roma as a free agent, but he signed a one-year contract extension with Roma until the summer of 2027. However, I couldn't find any information about him cutting his salary almost in half. I don't think that would be logical, because many clubs would have wanted the forward as a free agent, and he certainly wouldn't have had to cut his salary in half.

Yes, that’s right. The reason Paulo Dybala doesn’t want to leave AS Roma is that he still wants to play for the team he respects with all his heart. I personally doubt that Como will be able to advance much further in the subsequent stages of the Champions League because they have a very demanding schedule. And I think they should focus on just one league to avoid a drop in performance. Otherwise they might run into trouble if they push themselves too hard to compete in both leagues. I completely agreed Como to manage the team in both Serie A and Champions League because for stables their position in Europe's biggest clubs Como should maintane their position in high rank in any league either in Serie A or either in Champions League. If Como played both leagues at same time then due to busy secduals there is high chances of injuries for Como player and also when they busy for secdual of both leagues then it's biggest challenge for the management which players they selected for each league. So players divided and Como may put brilliant efforts but it's very difficult to qualify for higher rounds so they should be focused on Serie A so they can maintain their position in this league and also if they successful to perform well then they have a edge to continue the higher clubes of Europe's.

I never understood why Dybala kept on insisting being part of Roma squad. I mean it is obvious that he became worse and worse there, and he could have either moved to a worse team and be bigger player of a small team, or he could have moved toa  better team and be bench player instead.

So far I have not come across any rumours of other teams approaching Dybala and maybe Roma still need him despite his minimal contribution, so this could be the reason why he wants to stay at Roma and extend his contract despite having to be willing that his salary be cut.

I think a lot of factors, and probably one of the biggest drivers is that serie A is currently financially inferior to other leagues, this makes the big teams in serie A slowly decline in strength due to declining revenues. We can see how Milan and Juventus are no longer feared enough in serie A competitions, especially European competitions.

Any club cannot cope with multiple competition isn't ready to become stronger in order for them tow win trophies. I believe, this is why these guys are footballers. I wouldn't buy the idea that they might not perform well because it's the same blood that runs in those other big team players that's also running in their vains. It's only in UCL, I might say that Como might not go far but they'll do better in rest competitions.

What you said could certainly happen to Como, given the fiercer competition in the Champions League, making them unable to compete for further advancement. As for Serie A, it's possible that Como will perform much better than they did last season, although the competition in Serie A varies from season to season. But Como certainly knows their opponents in Serie A, so the level of competition is certainly comparable to theirs, although reaching the top of the standings at the end of the season will still be challenging.

I doubt they will perform better than last year. They already achieved fourth place, which is great for them no doubt, and doing better than that? I do not think that is on the cards for them.

Main reason will be that because they will also be in the UCL, and tat is 8 more games than usual, and that will be very hard for them to play in all of those. Not that they can't, it is not impossible to be fourth while playing at UCL but this is the first time they are going to do it, so it is important.

You are right as a team you need to cope up with multiple competitions but this will require having more than 2 players in the same position or at least two players so that they can be rotational in different competition to avoid less injures among the players because having only same particular players playing in all the competition may not be good at the end because there are time they will start getting tired after involving maybe in 4 competition. Como perform well last season now that they are in the UEFA Champions league they also need to add more quality players in other to compete with other good teams in the league.

You have said it all regarding italian league because honestly for the past three seasons now I only find it very difficult to determine the winner of the season, what I mean is that I find very difficult to predict the winner of the trophy at the end of the season, Italian league is not like Bundesliga, ligue 1 and also La Liga, in this league I mentioned you can easily predict the winner of the trophy especially two among them which are bundeslig and Ligue 1, Bayern Munich always take the lead and Paris Saint-Germain always do the same thing, in La Liga a Theater between two teams real Madrid and Barcelona. This is why they are even ranked the second among five top league in the world.

They are comfortable with their players which is the reason you have not hear anything from them yet, because they believe in their players and nothing will make those clubs they beat last season to withstand them in this season. I believe you know that Inter Milan was the club that lifted Italian league trophy last season and they still have the capacity to do or repeat what happened last season to happen in this season to lift the trophy again.

Even though Inter Milan coach decided to sell some players in this summer, i don't think it will affect them, because they have potential players that will challenge players other clubs will sign to play this season.

If they have been in the Serie A before, then they really came back strong, I think have Fabregas as their manager was one of the best the management did because he didn’t really well and knows how to plan for the future of the team, he is patient enough to stay with the team despite having offers from bigger clubs, yet he has decided to stay again to help the team go further as they have Champions League to play next season.

I am impressed with what Como did last season, they performed really well and try their best to make sure they achieve their dream which is plying the Champions League football and from the way they are active in the transfer market, I am sure they will do well in the Champions League, and if they do well, they can maintain their Champions League qualification spot against other seasons.
