Napoli and Conte are back in the top of the league.
I laugh at Juventus fans that do not wanted Conte few months ago.

Meanwhile Inter is playing against Monza and they are 0-0 after the 1st half.

Conte is a beast only fools do not want him as coach.

I watched the first half of the Atalanta - Fiorentina match, it was incredible. Fiorentina took the lead twice but Atalanta caught them and scored 2 goals in 1 minute to take the lead. I was surprised that there were no goals in the second half, the first half was really exciting. From what I saw in the first half I can say that Atalanta deserved to win the match. Especially Lookman's goal was incredible. De Ketelaere, Lookman and Retegui played very well, Atalanta's forward trio is really effective. They should be in higher place in this league.

I hope Atalanta continues in this form, they’ve poured four matches so far, won two of them and also lost two of the matches. They did well last season and their performance in the Europa League gave them a more better rating in the league to become a major league contender this season. They did not start well, but I hope they can improve from this point and be their best all the way up to the end of the season. They played a lovely football today against Fiorentina, I hope they do the same when they meet with other big teams in the league so that they can stand a good chance to fight for the league title by end of the season.

Inter Milan didn't manage to score any goals in the first half against Monza and we didn't even see a good first half performance from the Inter Milan players. This is Monza's home match. The Monza team is relatively weak. So Monza will play a defensive strategy in this match as we have already predicted. So Inter Milan should definitely play attacking strategy if they want to win against such a team. But Inter Milan had only 5 shots in the first half, and none of them were on target.

The second half match has now been going on for 68 minutes and Inter still can't create a good chance. There was not a single shot on target given by Inter to the Monza goal in this match, possession of the ball was balanced, this is not the Inter I know they don't look serious against a weak team there is a big possibility of a draw by both teams if the match continues like this until the end.

Inter Milan is already loosing and will probably lose this game, in my earlier post, I replied some one and mentioned that I'm not trusting inter to win or better still have an easy win in this game, and somehow I spoke to a friend about this but it sounded like it may not come true and now we have a reality to face, the games isn't balanced actually, Monza isn't possessive neither is inter, I saw in recent times that inter is gradually suffering a little decline, most persons are expecting more from them since they are title winner but let's keep our expectations in moderation because the inter of this season actually has gotten somethings to fix and untill they are done with it, they may not be back to winning ways

Looking at the odds given to Inter; 1.47 to Monza's 8.00, you'd expect them to literally devour the hosts but I guess they didn't see Monza putting up a strong defense. This is the second time they are drawing to a small team that they should ordinarily beat and I must say I'm disappointed. Many who carried them straight winning in their bets would be even more angry for their performance more than them.
 This season is not as smooth a sailing for them as they bargained and maybe we are still in the early parts of the season but I think it's how you make your bed that matters on how well you'd lie on it.

Luckily for them they were able to tie the game in the last 2 minutes.

Are the teams under performing due the "excitement" for the next week for the Champions League or are they not in a good shape yet or are they over rated?

The match was quite interesting, the buying and selling of attacks in the first half in my opinion was more exciting because it was accompanied by goals against each other until the score was 3-2 at half time and in the second half without any additional goals or anything else, Atalanta almost added goals only they missed and did not make it a goal.

Fiorentina was also quite strong in this match, they competed with Atalanta quite well, unfortunately they did not have many opportunities to create more goals, they had to be satisfied with getting 1 goal and their first defeat in 4 matches he had gone through, because the rest they got a draw match.

Maybe Inter chose to play it safe because their players had to prepare for the match against Man City in the Champions League or Inter were unable to overcome Monza game for more than 90 minutes. What is clear is that this result is very disappointing because 3 points are very important for Inter to secure the top of the standings. Because the result was a draw, Juventus also drew, so now the top of the standings is temporarily taken by Napoli which coincidentally this season Napoli will have more time to focus on Serie A because they are not included in the Champions League competition.

This is a bad result for Juventus and they might lose the temporary first position to other clubs after completion of this match day. Thiago Motta still has many things to do for improvement of Juventus attacking system as so far, their defense system works well while attacking system does not.

Juventus is in the third place now, Napoli is leading the table. Since most big teams in Serie A can't play consistently, it is not too bad to get a draw result. However, playing against a weak team, Juventus must win the match. It is quite surprising that Empoli could get a draw result against Juventus. Juventus dominated the match, but they have no good accuracy in shooting.

Vlahovic is strong and ambitious striker and always plays very energetically but this photo makes me worry. Did he get an injury from this situation and from this match against Empoli?

As far as I know there is no issue that Vlahovic gets injury. Vlahovic has no problem with his fitness, too. He already tries to play well, but it is not enough to get good results.

Such situation like in the photo can cause a very serious injury for attacking player like broken leg, ankle and so on, but I hope Vlahovic is fine and will be able to play next matches for Juventus.

I find it very surprising that out of a sudden Napoli is getting along so well. After their horrific start into the season, I thought that taking into account the Osimhen drama, they would have a ton of problems to play a strong season. Now they are greeting everyone else from the top of the table. It is a pretty impressive situation if you ask me.

Yes. This is very impressive because with this victory they managed to extend the positive trend, it can be said that Conte began to show his magic touch with Napoli. Because at the beginning of the season Conte got disappointing results and the Osimhen drama also made Napoli doubtful this season.
But now Conte has proven that they can be tough competitors this season after winning the next three matches which made them now at the top of the Serie A standings after Inter failed to win over Monza.

The next test for Conte is against Juventus next week. If they manage to beat Juventus, I think Napoli will be a serious competitor for the Serie A trophy this season, especially since Napoli is not playing in the UCL league so they can focus on Serie A.

Haha I already expected this result before when I check all the matches in week 4 and almost all the strong teams who played away only drew except Napoli who won by 4 goals but other teams like Juventus, AS Roma draw so I think the same thing about inter Milan and that's true final result 1-1, I often watch how Serie A is played we know some of them are unexpected even Inter Milan almost lost, luckily they were able to equalize the score in the 88th minute. I can't imagine if they had to lose lol.

For now Napoli takes over the standings after 3 consecutive wins but Napoli are only 1 point ahead of their rivals so it's not enough to say it's safe at least for this September, their new signing Romelu Lukaku has finally taken part in Napoli win , scoring goals in his last 2 games. Next, we are still waiting to see whether Romelu Lukaku can contribute to Napoli's achievements in the next match and Conte's decision to ignore Osimhen may have been the right one at least reduce the burden on the club.

Yes and that was the only goal they got to avoid defeat and equalize from Monza who are one of the lower teams and team that clearly has performance quality far below Inter Milan.
I was surprised by Inter Milan game which was not as competitive as in some of their previous matches, Inter Milan had quite good dominance of the match and they had lot of opportunities in every attack attempt, overall Inter Milan had 16 shots and only two were really on target for Monza.
After this they will play in their first UCL match, but they have an opponent that is not easy to beat, namely Manchester City, I sure Inter Milan will really feel the strength of Manchester City again like when they met in the 2022/23 UCL final.

I think either the domestic league or UCL is important for Intermilan. They played badly in this game. They had most of the ball and many shots, but only two were on target.

Again and again, Inter Milan is in the same exact situation they were in so many times. Their midfield is less creative and can't create chances. So, they had to build play through their wingbacks. They hoped for a good delivery, but their strikers never got the ball.

Intermilan needs an offensive passer in midfield. This is their only solution.

I'm doubting their chances to enter the title race with this poor performance.

After my parlay bet failure when the surprise happened in the Juventus, Torino and Inter matches, yesterday I tried to recover the loss by betting on the Atalanta vs Fiorentina and Genoa vs Roma matches.
Atalanta performed according to my prediction and produced 3 scores even though it almost ended in a draw because Fiorentina was able to put up resistance.
And for Roma performance, they could actually have produced 3 points in yesterday's match. But unfortunately as we see that the lack of focus in defense made Roma have to share the score.

Napoli seems to have pulled themselves together this year. Although they created some question marks in the first match, they have achieved a good winning streak at this point. They have become a contender for the championship again because their opponents Inter and Juventus lost points. Napoli is even more ambitious to win the Italian league this year. I see this determination in them. They lost a star player like Osimhen, but they do not miss it.

I agree Inter Milan game against Monza was disappointing. They had 16 shots but only two were good enough to score. They struggled to control game and score. Now they face Manchester City in UCL and I think they will have  tough time. Manchester City is very strong and they beat Inter Milan easily in their last meeting. Inter Milan needs to improve their offense and defense to compete with City aggressive style.
