It's good for the winner, but I think if the loser is either Roma or AC Milan, it is not too bad for them. Because they have more important competitions like Serie A, Champions League and Europa League. Sacrificing Coppa Italia and focusing on those competitions is a good choice for the loser if they intentionally did it. I don't say it to reduce value of this victory for AC Milan or disappointment of this defeat for Roma, but in long term, I think it's better if both AC Milan and AS Roma focus more on those bigger competitions that decide their chances and also club income next season.

It was a very exciting match at Sansiro and Milan really showed their good game and Milan's win with a score of 3-1 certainly indicates that Milan is a strong team and of course Milan as the host can be satisfied with this victory. Joao, Felix and Abraham are really great at scoring goals, they can take advantage of opportunities well. Predictable result, but how unpredictable to see Felix scored in this game. He reminds me with Kaka, and contributed on his first game with Milan. What an amazing gameplay from him. AC Milan don't want to joke with the Coppa Italia just like they didn't joke with the Italian Super Cup they won and considering how they played Roma in this match shows great hopes that they might be driving towards winning another trophy again which will be a good achievement for the club. AC Milan was very smart to have scored two goals in the first half through Tammy Abraham because those two first half goals reduced the morale of Roma hence they were only able to score one goal after all the energy they put in but if not for J. Felix goal, Roma could have struggled to equalize the score but that third goal that J. Felix scored killed the bones of Roma players and they already saw that they may not be able to fight further again regardless that they had about 20 minutes to fight back but the zeal wasn't there anymore but i still commend them for having most of the statistics which includes shots on target and most corners because they made 7 attempts on target while AC Milan got 6 and Roma also got 8 corners while AC Milan had 4. At the end of the day, AC Milan has proceeded to the next stage while Roma has dropped out.
