Milan's chances of going to the Champions League are very low in my opinion. They are now quite far behind in the points table and seem far from the Champions League. They could have done better in the Champions League this year, but they were eliminated early there as well. Unfortunately, the old legendary Milan squad is not there at the moment. Milan players are showing average performance for the Italian league. However, Milan's expectation is always high-level players.

There isn't much to say about their chances to qualify for the Champions League anymore. They either win all the last games or they will fail to qualify for it. It is as simple as that. That is the only chance they have left and since so far they have won less than 50% of their games, it is not very promising for them to still aim at qualifying for it.

Perhaps the Conference League is still possible, but some of the teams are doing so well now that it needs a lot of vectors to go their way in order to allow them to get anything out of this season.

Players like Leao won't be happy about it as he extended his contract until 2028 not too long ago and has a huge release clause, which puts him in a bad position for any possible negotiations if he wants to leave the club. I think he never thought AC Milan would perform like that.

AC Milan is playing bad and they haven't had it in their own hands for a while now. I don't think this season will have a good end for them as right now Roma and Bologna are running on unexpected winning streaks. If they continue like that, I would have never thought that Roma would get close to the top four again. But then there is also Bologna and Juventus.

AC Milan would need a miracle to reach anything of importance this season and now in the Coppa Italia when they are at their worst, Inter Milan is waiting for them. I think that's bad timing and if they can't improve by a lot in that game, it will be a relatively easy match for Inter.

This defeat left Milan in a very bad position, all the teams that are currently in the top 6 are on good form and it will not be possible to displace them. Conceicao will most likely also be fired, and for Milan this season can be considered a failure, 9th place for such a team is a very weak achievement. Bologna rose to 4th place, I did not expect this either, but I think it became possible because Juventus allowed them to do this.

Lazio dominated the game and missed some opportunities to score which allowed Torino to get more confidence to pick a point for them.
For Torino, every point earned allowed them to play calmly without stress since they are quite far from the relegation zone.
For Lazio, every point dropped will make them crying at the end of the season because they are at risk of losing even a place for UEFA Conference League. They should take on consideration that AC Milan and especially Fiorentina are just behind them and that Roma, Juventus and Bologna are winning most of their games..

Sorry, but I don't see how Milan would be able to recover at least 9 points on Bologna and not considering some others might outperform that in just 8 games left, not his Milan. Also, they have a direct match so if the screw that is one down , plus two games with Fiorentina and Atalanta, and those two are not some adversaries Milan would be comfortable with, one of the worst match-ups in terms of gameplay.

So let's trim that down to 8  or rather down to 6 because Inter is no position to lose that, they have 12 point on hand on the 5th spot Juventus, so now way Juventus will win all 8 games and Inter will only manage to get less than 4 wins or 3 wins and 3 draws and Napoli also has a 9 points lead.

No, the real battle is for two spots between 6 teams!

When Lukaku is at his best, he performs as one of the best in the world. He also performed very well in the Milan match. He made a significant contribution to his team's 2-1 victory with the goal he scored in the early minutes. The Belgian player performs above average every season in Serie A. Lazio went from 4th to 7th place in the table, and I don't think they will be able to climb back with the remaining games in the season. It is surprising that a big team like Milan does not have a quality manager. Conceicao did not meet expectations. Milan probably will not continue with Conceicao next year. Pioli finished third last year but being third in the league is not an achievement for Milan.

I do not know why Milan does not work with old managers like Capello, Lippi. It is a problem when the player is old but is it a problem because the manager is old? Aren't Capello, Lippi no longer managing the team?

There is a difference between the chances of Atalanta getting into the top 4 and Milan doing so.

Remember that it's not only Milan that needs clear victories over all those adversaries those need to make mistakes on top of that, and how many can they do? Because if a top team starts making all those losses, it means mid tier gets those points, so you get a new headache trying to pass.
8 matches, and only two of them are comfortable against Venezia and Monza and two maybes against Genoa and Udine.

You said they could have done better in champions league this season but I think they have the opportunity to make it big and they declined. Inter Milan will seize to have of making it to the Champions League due to their current performance. I will only have confidence for them to land either Europa League or Conference League because the point gap is very little which if they can make good performance before the season end, I will not be surprised if they make it up there but it seems difficult because Roma and Juventus will not like to give a chance since both are fighting for Champions League zone. I think Inter Milan should only focus on next season to bring out best in them but this season no way for them.

I don't think you've been following the league much. Milan is in a bad spot and I don't think they will recover. In fact their recovery lies mostly on other teams dropping points and I that's a lot of hope.
They still have league games against Atalanta, Fiorentina which I don't think they will win. Milan is horrible and hoping on them is a waste of time. They are not making it to Europ this season from the look of things.
If you feel they might want to lock in now, you also have to consider the fact that other teams too want to lock in.

The next 3 games of Milan will determine a lot, and I don't see them getting all 9 points from those matches. It's difficult to believe this Milan will win all the games against Fiorentina, Udinese and Atalanta.

In my view i really see no need for the first key point you outlined here because the game today is totally different from rankings. Domestic Cup games and league games are totally different and rankings from league isn't put into consideration when analysing cup ties. Domestic Cup games comes with different energy that's why it's quite hard to really predict it as we do if it's league. Over the years we have seen teams from lower divisions knock out teams from top flight leagues.

Lazio have the opportunity to win that game but they thought the one goal they secured will allow them to defend till the end of the game to secure victory, which Torino players didn't allow the wish of Lazio to come through from the game.  I notice something strange from Torino strikers these days, they don't use to score goals the way they use to score from the beginning of this tournament which is what made their position in the Italian table drop down to 7th position.

I guess Torino manage to equalized that yesterday game in the home of Lazio 1:1, because many teams have used Torino to increase their points which is what Lazio would have done to win the game in their home, but Lazio missed their chances to win the game.

I bet on this game, when I saw that Bologna had odds of @1.72 I immediately ran to add Bologna to my parlay which also has Real Madrid, PSG and other teams. I think Bologna has a good chance of winning this game, but they should not underestimate their opponent because in this competition things are completely different from Serie A, an example of this is that Empoli came far in this competition when in Serie A they are a disaster.
