Genoa 2-1 Napoli. What an interesting game it was. Napoli played much more better and they eradicated Genoa in the statistics. But Genoa got very very lucky. They had 2 shots and 2 goals in the first half. Napoli had 24 shots in total and 11 of them were on target. But they managed to score only one goal which was in the 79th minute. It was a bad night for Napoli.

So many interesting games in the Seria A today. It started with Atalanta's 6-goal thriller at home to Torino. Afterwards, the Juve vs Roma game and the Napoli game that just got concluded. Another surprising result is seeing Sassuolo losing at home to Spezia. The game I enjoyed most today is that Atalanta game. They were up like 3-0 early in the first half, at that point, I thought there's no way Torino would get back in the game. Elsewhere in Juve vs Roma game, Ronaldo showed us once again why he is the best.

Napoli is disappointing and it is sharing that 5th spot with Lazio and Atalanta (37 points). Losing vs Genoa is quite embarrassing and Gattuso is in awkward position right now.

Roma lost, Juventus won and another 3 points for Juventus help them to keep up pressure on the 2 Milan teams (AC and Inter). The Scudetto competition is currently clearer with only 3 candidates left: AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus. I did not think AC Milan can be a Scudetto candidate months ago but now they are staying at the first position for months and solidly protect it.

Inter Milan in the second season of Antonio Conte still have problems but they are still one of strongest opponents for Juventus.

Juventus after unstability in early months with a new coach recently become more stable to earn points from Italian clubs. They will get their 10 Scudetto in 10 seasons if they win in this season.

I agree the competition is on 3 teams and today AC Milan will take over the standings after beating Crotone they won't let Inter stay in the standings longer
For the Scudetto I haven't seen Juventus become a strong candidate because Inter and Milan have both shown good performances so far.

Like you said A.C Milan have been a real surprise to everyone this season, I think Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the team have changed their mentality, he is giving them goals in good numbers as well as a psychological boost to remain on top, there are quite a lot of games to go, but if AC Milan can continue the way they started, then they will be champions after a very long time.

I do not want Juve to win the league this season, not for any serious reason, but cause they have won the league too many times and I'd love to see a different champion, it'll be disappointing of the two Milan teams if they allow Juve to catch up and overtake them in the league.

Juventus are one of best teams in Italy and Serie A. Their squad has been rebuilt with some younger and more desiring players, Kulusevski, McKenzie, De Ligt and with Ronaldo, they combine together to be a title-obsessed team. Pirlo in his first season as coach, will want to get the Scudetto as much as he can.

Inter and AC Milans have some points ahead Juventus but it is not a big difference. 2 or 3 matches with bad results can change everything. In Serie A, last 9 seasons, when Juventus took the first position after some difficult time, they did not hand it over to other opponents till the end.

I was shocked by this loss. Napoli lost a game that they played so much good. It was a lucky day for Genoa for sure. There is a really nice competition among Napoli, Lazio and Atalanta for the international tournaments. Roma are just 3 points ahead of these trio which means Roma's place is under a big threat too.

My betslip yesterday got nuked by Napoli and Sassuolo's disappointing performances. I only got Juventus Roma right but now my betslip is a losing one.
Huge win by Juventus yesterday, anyway. They are putting a lot of pressure to both Inter and Milan which need to keep their excellent shape to avoid losing precious points againts the bianconeri.
Game to watch today is Milan Crotone to see if Milan can keep the first place.

I'm sorry to hear that mate. Napoli couldn't win a game that they played very good. I suppose that many people lost their bet on it. Sassuolo have been out of form for 5 weeks in Serie A. Spezia played better than them and actually surprised me by winning against Sassuolo too. They did the same to Napoli exactly one month ago.

What a solid performance from Milan! Ibrahimovic had an another superb game here. He scored 2 goals and now he has 14 goals in 11 Serie A games. Calhanoglu and Rebic were also very good in the game. Calhanoglu came on in the 62nd minute and he made 2 assists to Rebic in the 69th and 70th minute which was really nice to see.

Lazio are leading 1-0 right now and there are only 7 minutes left (excluding the stoppage time). Immobile scored the goal of his team. Lazio erased their opponent in the first half. There is a more balanced game now in the second half but I think Lazio won't let Cagliari get a point. If Lazio become the winner, they will go up to the 5th position having the same points with Roma.
