They just replaced their manager too early in the season. Mazzarri won't do magic in the end. He will also need some more time to adapt to the team.

I don't think the rest of the season in the league will be much brighter for Napoli. I mean they would just fight for finishing the season in top 4 in my opinion. While teams like Roma are also doing well recently the competition for the fourth position can be tougher than they expect on the upcoming weeks.

Basically, Napoli only needs to be able to compete in the top four, and does not have to return to winning the Scudetto . It would be very funny if Napoli were targeting the scudetto again for the second time in a row because after all, teams like Milan and Inter also failed to defend the scudetto. When Roma was awarded a penalty kick in the 76th minute of play, they were able to come back to win and take the three points. I wasn't expecting Roma to play that poorly against Sassuolo to the extent that they were unable to score any goals in the first half. Roma performed horribly with the opportunities they lost against the team ranked in 15th place in the league. This performance won't get the team anywhere, in Europa league they still preform very poor. They would have performed poorly if the referee hadn't given them the penalty. Hence Mourinho needs to set up a good standards if he wants the team to qualify for the Champions League, to even win their Europa next matches. I was shocked to see Roma overtake Napoli in the group standings.

If Atalanta wins by at least 2 goals, then Atalanta will move up to 6th place because yes, Atalanta has more goals than Fiorentina. But ya, if for example Atalanta only wins by 1 goal, then Atalanta will only move up one place to 7th place. Well that's the problem, clubs that last season played not very consistent like Inter Milan for example, this season they are better and I can even say they are better than Napoli. While other clubs are improving, at the same time Napoli are declining in performance.
