this 3-0 win for Atalanta, it wasnt an accident. They came out swinging, and you could see it in their eyes. Napoli's defense, folks, it was weak from the start. Gave Atalanta the openings they needed, and they took full advantage. Now, Napoli's a good team, some of the best players in the league. But sometimes, even the best have off days, and this was one of them. Even with the home crowd behind them, they couldnt find that spark. It happens, even when you desperately want those points. And look, with results like this, Napoli's got a tough road to climb for that top 4 spot. Its a shame, but thats the reality of this league.

It is quite painful to see Napoli's defeat today to Atlanta, actually I have very high expectations for Napoli to be able to shift Atlanta's position in the standings serie A, because in my opinion Napoli has all the advantages to win the game with the qualified squad they have, besides that the status as the home team,Napoli should be able to take advantage of every momentum in the match to be able to win,  On the other hand, the disappointment was more painful when Napoli had to lose by a big score and actually failed to score a single goal in the match.

Napoli actually had chances to score with the many chances they created in the game, but poor finishing certainly made them have to fall behind Atlanta even though throughout the game Napoli managed to dominate the game, I think Atlanta should thank Carnesecchi who performed quite brilliantly in saving his goal from conceding after a barrage of attacks from Napoli,  And I think apart from Miranchuk, of course, Carnesecchi' brilliant performance deserves to make him the best player in the match.

Finally, the national break is over and the leagues have started. I missed football a lot during the break for the national matches. I think Lazio vs Juventus will be an enjoyable match. Lazio beat Frosinone away in their last league game. Lazio, like Napoli, is a team far from last season's performance. But they still have a balanced image this season. They scored 36 goals and conceded 33 this season. On the other hand, Juventus lost their pace in the race for the league title and dropped to third place in the league. Both teams are going through a chaotic period. But both teams have equal strengths. I'll bet on both teams to score in this match.

Actually it's been a boring weekend and also a boring week too without football especially for we who happens to be football lovers it's not been a really interesting wee but then thanks God the international break is over and the return of club football is here again and we can for a while enjoy football once again, I have not been able to really enjoy a weekend without football as it feel too boring for  me.

If Juventus happens to loose this game, it will be really detrimental to them because they wouldn't be able to get to the second position on the table finishing well so they will be able to find their selves In a good league next season but they have. Not been in the best form so far but then they have still get some more opportunities to still probably get to the second position of the table by the end of the season.

Yeah they will, i know Inter Milan would be very disappointed to have been eliminated by Atletico Madrid in the champions league round of 16, but the Seria A title is in their hands and it will make up for the disappointment they experienced in the champions league. Inter are on top of the Seria A with a 14 point advantage, they have been excellent and when they win it this season, it will be their second league title in the last 4 seasons, which is great.

There is no reason for Inter Milan to fail this season, they are ahead and without any pressure from other teams, so they should be able to lock up the title early. They must have felt disappointment when they were eliminated from the Champions League, but that can still be overcome by at least winning the Scudetto title this season.
Their competitors are too far away to catch up, so they shouldn't fail this season. The trophy was right before their eyes. They only need a few more wins to ensure the Scudetto title this season.

Napoli will soon lose every UEFA competitions spots and might risk not playing any international game next year by the end of the season. Their results aren't satisfying, only two points out of 9 in the last three matches and things don't seem to be promising when we find them taking 3 goals from Atalanta without scoring any.

Later today, we will see if Juventus will be as unlucky as Napoli or they will recover. Milan game isn't that easy too against Fiorentina. I expect Milan to win and Juventus to draw.

Napoli situation is bad and they can lose their position to Fiorentina or Lazio but the league is on going and Napoli can complete this season with a spot to Conference League. It is not what they ambitiously aimed at when the season started months ago but now they can not hope for a higher position than that.

At least AC Milan can help Napoli this week but there will be more weeks and matches so Napoli must fight by themselves and can not rely other clubs in Serie A to beat Atalanta, Fiorentina and Lazio for Napoli benefit.

Their defeat against Atalanta meant they had to stay away from the competition for a ticket to go to the European zone next season. with what they are currently experiencing, this is clearly something they did not expect. Imagine when they managed to become champions last season and we hoped they would be able to enliven the competition at the top again, but they failed to do so.

The Italian Serie A game between Lazio and Juventus is over and the Roman based club was able to claim all three points from the game after they scored a goal in the additional time of the match. So yes, I still consider it a reasonable result for Napoli to experience this season after their great success last season. TBH, I'm really surprised to see the result of this match. We know Napoli played very dominant in the match. Napoli made 20 shots, they won the ball possessions. I just didn't understand that they failed to score a single goal. What's happening with Napoli attackers and their defenders? It seems Napoli attackers has no accuracy in shooting. Meanwhile their defenders looks too easy to destroy by Atalanta players. Even if Atalanta players only could make 12 shots, they could score 3 goals. They showed to Napoli how to play effectively.

Agree, this is an embarrassing result for Napoli. I can't believe they were defeated with 3 goals at their own stadium. Actually Napoli doesn't change much of their players, most the key players are still in Napoli. But the change of the coach really brings a big impact. Juventus seems to be really going backwards at the moment, they suffered another painful defeat against Lazio, Allegri team failed to maintain their concentration towards the end of the match. Overall Lazio managed to dictate the game, they dominated ball possession, and they also had better attack statistics. Allegri was really frustrated, his efforts to create a turning point in performance failed again.

This defeat contributes to a nightmare season for Napoli. Even they have very small opportunity to join top four, they still hoped for joining it after were kicked out of Champions League by Barcelona. This defeat breaks that hope and they have to return to realisty that they will end this season with very poor performances and results after all.

The last season was sweet but this season is very bitter for Napoli. Now they will have to adjust their target, from top four to lower positions that can help them to join Europa League or Conference League next season.

Overall, there is no chance for Napoli to get a ticket to the Champions League, but at least there are other European competitions which are no less exciting. They have to look at it realistically and not get too carried away in order to go further this season. The reason is that there is no longer a place for Napoli in the competition for the top 4 after Atalanta, Roma and Bologna will fight for that one place.

A season full of surprises and no one thought that Napoli's fall would be this bad after winning the Scudetto last season, but they also realized that the coach who brought them to the championship had also not been at this club since the start of the season. However, the journey is not over yet and they cannot give up, let alone continue this losing trend.

Napoli is now a team adrift, in the match against Inter I had seen a Napoli in clear recovery, but today their performance was truly embarrassing. I agree with you completely, not even I had seen a team in clear decline in such a short time, last year they seemed unbeatable, this year they can't even get two wins in a row, moreover they strongly risk not participating in any European competition next year

Napoli did had a better performance but were unable to really  convert their opportunities in to productive results that would have helped them win the match today and it was really such a bad results they got at the end of the day, Napoli isn't a weak team but then they have got some issues I think that's still internal and it's affecting their performance and that's why they become aggressive at some point and victor had a yellow card today.

The reason they had a loop in their scores was basically defensive error which now led to their fall and loosing all the points they did lost in the game today, if they had strengthen their defense well enough, it was possible they would ha e been able to make up for the error encountered in the defense of the team but then they were not able to keep their defense tight enough and Atlanta was there to take advantage of the situations to help them add up to their point and see how well they could possibly rank up on the table before the season ends

Napoli actually did played well but they had the error when they were unable to keep their defense intact because Atlanta generally didn't have the kind of performance that should cause they staying ahead of Napoli with such a point difference and I see it as really bad that Napoli lost without getting a goal in the game, they only played well but couldn't get one out of all the three goals that were gotten in the match .

Seeing the current situation and score is actually not a fairness for Napoli but indeed if you look at their performance this season, especially with the big defeats they have in this match, it's a little not too surprising that Napoli lost with a pretty heavy score because this is not the first time they have felt this, especially this season considering they have also lost with the same score against Torino and even lost with a bigger score of 0-4 against Frosinone in the Italian cup.
