Just one Italian team was able to secure a win in the first phase of the UEFA champions league, it a very bad way to begin a campaign.

The match between Manchester city and Napoli yesterday was a match u expected them to come with at least a point, but maybe the early red card played a big part in the match. The reigning Italian champions lost 2-0 and that their first defeat of the season.

Finally a win for inter, and they had to do it away from home, so far they remain the only Italian side with all 3 points after the first game in the champions league.


Well it just the first game and there is plenty of room to improve with 7 more matches to play.

Yeah Juventus and Napoli are in the race after playing consistently in the last 3 matches and you know I'm looking for Inter Milan at the top unfortunately they dropped to 11th position   I know it's only temporary but still the spotlight is on their side, I believe Inter Milan deserves to compete in the top 3 one indication is that they have several players on the top scorers list. For Cremonese yeah they seem a little safer this month but if you look at the schedule for next October Cremonese will face some strong teams like Como, Inter Milan and Atalanta of course these 3 teams are not easy opponents, even getting 1 point is a good achievement for them.

Juventus have improved since Igor Tudor took over as head coach, even though it's only been a few games, and we hope this is the start of a revival for Juventus under his leadership, and they can become one of the teams competing for the Serie A title. Juventus currently sit second behind Napoli, with both teams on the same points table.

Inter worst season is underway. Despite only playing three matches, two defeats have left them far behind where they should be for a team of their stature. The loss of coach Inzgahi has left many shortcomings, as the players are not yet accustomed to the new manager playing style. Inter's transition will be quite slow if the players and coach can't find a good fit.

I think it high time Vlahovic get a start, he has been coming off the bench and making big impact in juventus games, I think this weekend he should be given the opportunity to start. He is very experienced and familiar with the league so I have always believed he will do better than New signings Jonathan David and openda this season.

The fact that Chivu left their captain on the bench for the entire match made me realise something. With Chivu, no one is a guaranteed starter! Everyone will have the same chances.
This decision paid off and earned them their first three points in the Champions League standings.
It was by no means an easy match; Ajax is an unpredictable team, unfortunately, but Inter managed all situations very well.

Focusing on the Champions League is not enough reason for a team like Inter Milan who is regarded as a top team in the Serie A to be at such a position where they are currently when the season just begun, they can maintain a really decent position even while trying to focus some attention on the Champions League, they are practically not balancing the whole situation if they will be going by this approach whereby they just focus on the Champions League and allow their domestic league positions suffer.

Like I said before I will still say again Liverpool is not really playing to expectations after all the money spent in the transfer market yet all of their winning has always been a lucky win, can you imagine Atletico Madrid that's also struggling in the Spanish LA Liga has the nerves to score two goals against them, the two teams I wasn't expecting much from them anyway but I think Liverpool should really step up their game because very soon like very very soon they will run out of luck and it's gonna be a living hell to them I trust EPL teams, they will frustrate them yes that I'm sure.

I actually see Juventus' current weakness in defense. Juventus is now conceding goals very easily, a stark contrast to the Juventus of the past, which boasted a solid defense that was difficult for opponents to penetrate. Conceding seven goals in two matches is not a good sign for competing for trophies this season. The key to winning trophies isn't just about goal production, but also a solid defense.

Right now, especially in the last two matches, I like the mentality and fighting spirit of the Juventus players. Against Inter and Dortmund, their performances were impressive. They were behind twice and then twice able to come back. Not every team can do that.
