It looks like you missed one of the most instrumental coaches in reviving AS Roma's performance last season. That is Ranieri. I think even Gasperini will not necessarily bring AS Roma up as fast as Ranieri did last season. Ranieri came to AS Roma in the middle of the season. Then he made AS Roma almost unbeatable by any team in Serie A since he took over the coaching chair at AS Roma. He came back from retirement only to resurrect AS Roma who had originally fallen. AS Roma was even close to the relegation zone at that time. And thanks to Ranieri we saw AS Roma manage to end the season in 5th place and actually almost in 4th place. Maybe if Ranieri took the position of AS Roma coach since the beginning of the season I feel this team will even win the title last season.

And this season Gasperini continues the legacy of Ranieri actually. And Gasperini did well. That's all I think.

I understand the role that Ranieri played in the development of Roma and my bad that I didn't include him when singing Roma's praises but before he came, the club struggled to be winning matches. Seriously, Roma have come a long way to be underestimated by other clubs because at present they occupy the second spot, equal on points with Inter, whereas Napoli who seemed like they had everything figured out are in the 4th place.

Furthermore, next week, Inter will certainly face a team that will be even more challenging. This week, they will face Milan, who are currently in excellent form. So, what do you think? Roma does have weaknesses in the attack line, but so far they have managed it quite well. They have built strength in the midfield and defense, and the results are quite good. Having a more aggressive front line would definitely change Roma's playing style.
But let's see whether Roma will bring in a good striker to make their attack more fearsome, or if they will stick with their current style of play until the end of the season.

Even their defence is not as solid as expected but it is a fair one, the attack for Roma has been a big challenge they have had to battle with for several seasons now and that is why they find it difficult to get good number of goals and when they do they get scanry goals, they have managed to strengthen the midfield but the attack I agree still needs some work, this was seen even when Mourinho took over as the head coach and had to bring in some.jey players yet could not fix the front line and he latter left, if other coaches are able to get it right with the front line, I believe soon they will be very formidable in the Serie A and across Europe.

Atalanta plays really bad this season in all competitons and this is normal to see a new coach. Currently they are 13th in the league and i think they are really far from europe and i think even with the new coach they wont be able to reach those europe spots. They lost so many matches and dropped a lot of points and i think their season is really bad and in the worst case scenario they might even fight for survival but i doubt that will happen

After Gasperini's farewell, Atalanta has not reached the same level and it's sad to see such a strong club lose all these matches, they must give themselves a hard time otherwise it will end badly for them.\

This derby match can't be compared to any other regular match, even though it's also in Serie A. Milan themselves are well aware that their opponent, Inter Milan, is not only risking their abilities but also their own prestige, as both teams will be playing in front of their home fans. Although the names are different, it's the same stadium with two different names, so both teams are playing at home. So Milan will also do their best in this match, especially since this season Milan has had a slightly different development than last season and is now in third place in the standings, which is only two points behind Inter Milan who is currently at the top of the standings.

I don?t know how you came up with these statistics, even though I know they met five times and there was not a single win for Inter Milan. But that was not this season, and if you are to choose the favorites to win this game, you will base it on this season?s performance and consider their last five games played with other clubs in Serie A. I will say Inter Milan will win this game because AC Milan are not that good in Serie A presently, and Inter Milan will not like to lose points and let Roma top the table. My favourite is Inter and probably the same for most people also. Maybe Roma have a stronger defense but they don't have impressive goal stats. It is 1.09 per game while it is 2.36 for Inter.

The scoring productivity doesn't guarantee the title of course. But it is very useful on this road...

Agreed. This match can't be compared to other matches because derbies are always different as both teams have prestige at stake. So, this one is guaranteed to be intense even if their previous performances haven't been great. However when playing a derby both teams always want to give their best which makes this match intense and full of surprises.

As you mentioned Milan has seen significant improvement this season. Their performance is much better than last season. Furthermore this season they don't have a traditional schedule which will make it easier for them to be better prepared for each match. Inter on the other hand still face this match with high confidence especially as this derby is played on their home turf. So it's certain that this match will be very intense and difficult to predict as both teams see this as crucial in their quest for trophies this season.

Conte can handle playing without KDB, that part is easy but the part he is having trouble is scoring. He fails to find a way to connect the defense to offense and surely KDB was his decision to make that work, KDB would get the ball from defense, and create chances for the offense, which has not worked greatly. Don't get me wrong, they are not far away from the top and was at the top just until this week, so it's clear that something is working but they could have been better than this if they made that connection better.

I do not have a suggestion and it would be silly to suggest something to Conte anyways, he would know what to do, but he has to figure out how to make that. Maybe use the wings a lot more? No idea really.

If we’re talking about who’s most likely to win the title this season, it’s gotta be Inter. Their squad depth and stats say it all, they’ve got a huge shot at taking the scudetto. Plus, Inter have the experience when it comes to game management and keeping their form till the end of the season. That’s definitely one of their main strengths.

Roma, on the other hand, don’t really look like title contenders this year. With how poor their goal scoring has been, getting consistent wins every match is gonna be tough.

I had a feeling Gasperini would not finish the season with Atalanta based on their recent performances, it was very disappointing how they were losing matches. Since the Champions League game against Slavia Praha, I expected them to win even by one goal, but they were unable to score a single goal against a team that was not better than them, that is when I believed that Gasperini would be fired before the end of the season.

Atalanta league results are very poor, how come a team like Atalanta draws 7 out of 11 matches this season? They have lost 2 matches and won 2, with 13 points earned so far, while the table leader has 24 points in 11 games. Atalanta did the right thing to sacked Gasperini at this point because the season is still at fresh and they need to find a new manager before losing more points.

The Italian league has become so interesting to watch, as the competition is more intense and more competitive, as most of the teams in the league are trying to keep their performances so strong and make sure they have good results against every one of their opponents. They now fly to the 2nd position.They share the same points with Inter, and as it stands now, if care is not taken, they will soon overtake Inter at the top of the table with their current performances. When some of the core players left maybe this could still be anticipated because Gasperini was always famous for his style where he was a specialist coach who could pressure the players to perform more than their performance and good teamwork but when he left then the Atalanta players are now like chickens losing their mothers where they are still confused by the new coach's scheme which makes them who previously always performed well and became a stumbling block for several big clubs and competition in the standings is now inversely proportional.

But indeed this transition always happens because every coach has his own way of adapting and it is possible that for now Palladino is still a little difficult to maintain his rhythm as a coach.
Although they are still not too bad because they only lost 2 times so far but indeed they mostly draw which makes his position not too comfortable for now.

Gasperini is indeed a good coach at building teams. Even his successor at Atlanta was unable to keep Atlanta at the top of its game. Even though the players are still the same ones left behind by Gasperini, most of the star players are still there. There is one star player who left, Mateo Retegui. However, Retegui was only a new player at Atlanta, meaning he only played there for one season. Meanwhile, top stars like Ademola Lookman remain, even though Inter Milan insisted on buying him last summer, but no agreement was reached on the price.

A tough loss for Napoli. I’m just now realizing how powerless the team looks without KDB and Lukaku. It’s going to be difficult, but i think if they recover from injuries and have all their players available, they’ll be able to keep up that winning streak they once had. Di Lorenzo anyone who follows Napoli can tell he’s out of form and not the same player he was two seasons ago. I hope he gets back to his old form , because the captain has to play well.

Although Napoli's squad structure is strong, the absence of two influential players like Kevin De Bruyne and Lukaku seriously weakens both the creativity and finishing ability of the team. Without De Bruyne's ability to dictate play and Lukaku's physical strength to wear down the defense, Napoli's attacking organization becomes more predictable. Still, once injuries are resolved, this team can find its rhythm. When in form, Napoli possesses the quality to string together consecutive wins both in Serie A and in Europe. Especially if the midfield rotation is strengthened, they can regain their former momentum.

Injuries to key players often disrupt a team progress, and now Napoli are facing that difficult situation. Conte will certainly hope that De Bruyne and Lukaku can return as soon as possible so they can contribute to the team. Last season, I predicted that Inter Milan was going to win the Italian league because of how good they were and the fact that they had a Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram who were arguably the best front duo in the Italian league but to my surprise, Napoli finished ahead of them and lifted the scudetto.
Looking at the league table and the point difference between the teams, I think it'll be very difficult to predict who will win the league this season. Inter Milan I think is a little above others but I still consider Napoli as a major threat

I wouldn't easily write off Roma and their ability to handle the pressures that comes with being in top of they succeed because to be honest, as of last season I wouldn't have imagined them being in second place in the new season since they are always not reliable. They are a good club quite alright but the other coaches that kept on coming to take over the club after Jose Mourinho left made it impossible for them to achieve such a position but now thanks to Gasperini's presence, the drive and urge to do better has reawakened so yeah, there's every chance of Roma being a strong competition for the scudetto as well. Things are changing, so why will thru be left out.

It could be said that AS Roma is currently in a very good position compared to last season, after several wins and managed to get second place in the standings, they have shown significant improvement in consistency and now they are quite confident, however, their current performance is still considered not enough to be able to win the Scudetto title, since Napoli and AC Milan may maintain stronger performances because they have better squad depth. Gasperini may consider recruiting some new players to be able to strengthen AS Roma's finishing and make them even sharper, so that they can maintain their position at the top.
