Getting rid of him was the correct decision, however, switching an experienced coach like Gasperini was never going to be an easy transition. I'm surprised to see someone not informed as this guy who's not aware of these dramas going on in football. You don't need to be watching ball regularly before you get information like a coach getting sacked, renew or terminate a contract or a team appointing a new coach. Gasperini is doing a great work with AS Roma. I haven't seen Roma playing consistently as a team the way they are playing now this season. I think your choice is indeed the safest so far. Although in Serie A, sometimes the results of matches are far from what we expect. Sometimes in Serie A, we can see draws in almost all matches. However, if conditions are normal, then favoring AS Roma in the match against Cremonese is the right choice. The same goes for choosing Lazio as the favorite in their match against Lecce. Compared to other matches, these two matches seem easier to predict.

Yes, after more than nine years, Atalanta finally parted ways with the coach who led them to victory in the Europa League in 2023/24. Finally, Gasperini's contract expired on June 1, 2025, and he was appointed coach of AS Roma on June 6, 2025. This was a blessing for AS Roma, which currently holds a top-three position in Serie A under Gasperini.

Atalanta, however, failed. Atalanta appointed Ivan Juric on June 6, 2025, but due to disappointing results, they ultimately sacked him and replaced him with Raffaele Palladino on November 11, 2025.

And one of Palladino's first moves was to reach out to their second striker, Ademola Lookman. He wanted to make every player fight for every ball.
