It was a fantastic night for Milan because they won a crucial match. Furthermore, considering the high level of competition between them, this match will be even more meaningful. The opportunity was clearly wasted, wasn't ready to watch another derby end in a draw because that has been the case for long, 2 big teams playing a game we expect to be tough but it will be boring and it will end in a draw. I love what Ac Milan did in that game, they always had to wait, absorb the pressure then they attack when they had the chance. They never had much opportunity but the only one they had, they made it count. Inter was the favorite in that encounter and everything they did was going smoothly for them, the attacking the shots even the ones on target went the way they want but the most important thing they needed was the goal that never came now it will hurt them till they find their way to that number 1 spot on the Serie A table.

Maignan was even the man of the match undoubtedly. He made many crucial saves to secure the win for Milan. Including even a penalty by one of the best penalty takers in the league, Calhanoglu! 

Inter couldn't beat Milan 6 times in a row in their head-to-heads. This time there was a Chivu - Allegri rivalry but the experience won here. Allegri is really good with getting decent results in big league games.

The title competition is amazing now. 4 teams look realistic there as I don't think Bologna can last.

I live in the Lazio region, near Rome, and i am obviously a Roma fan. We're all very excited, and no one speaks out to avoid bringing bad luck. We're truly pleased with how the club has changed pace and embraced the mentality of true champions, and it shows.

From what I posted yesterday I already stated the fact that actually Ac milan has a good track record whenever they are on the away side,  this made me a bit skeptical about the game even though inter had a high chance of winning. These are some of the unexpected outcomes of football we get to experience lots of times. Roma seems to be doing quite well this season, I just hope they can be consistent

I personally had already predicted this. The problem lies in the coaching experience that each team has. We know that Chivu is indeed a good coach, but he still doesn't have as much experience as Allegri. And here, Allegri proved that he could outsmart Chivu's strategy. Inter Milan actually played well, but luck wasn't on their side. However, it also seems that they failed to mount quality attacks that could break down AC Milan's defense. Meanwhile, AC Milan played with more patience, waiting for the right moment, and eventually scored the only goal of the match in the 54th minute. I was lucky because I favored AC Milan in this match. Wow so now it's Roma who is leading the serie A table now, it's been quite some time I saw Roma this active and running. The competition this season in the Italian serie A is just something else, most of the top team are still well involved in the race especially inter Milan who lost the game. One team though I would love to see back in the title chase is Juventus but it seems even this season it would be really difficult for them to make the fight for the title significant seeing how they are currently inconsistent with their gameplay and winnings.

I'm not really convinced Roma can win the title because most of their wins have come from bottom and middle-placed teams. They've not been able to pick up maximum points against top oppositions, as they've been beaten by both Inter and AC Milan this season, and they still have other big teams to play. If they keep dropping points against big teams, it might dampen their chances of winning the league.

Milan knew that they couldn't force the situation when Inter wanted to try to make a determined attack so they just took advantage of Inter's counterattacks and mistakes to create momentum.

It worked because their quick counter-attacks in this match were on point which made them more comfortable.
