The advantage of a lighter load is obvious since Milan are better placed to remain fresher and more concentrated on Serie A, but the regular midweek games of Europa League cost Roma regardless of whether they play in the Champions League or not. Today game will truly be an interesting game to watch even if not for any reasons but for the fact that both teams are about to prove there what over each other by there excellent performance. Napoli may have not been consistent in there previous games as they have repeatedly lost in different games but tonight, a lost for napoli is what I cannot predict on they game against milan. Napoli performance in the last two games was very poor, they played like a team that did not know what they were doing, i said before their last match that Serie A teams are not serious, they will be winning their matches and any day you expect them to win a match they will end up losing the match and also concede more than one goal in the game, both AC Milan and Napoli drop points and allow Inter Milan to take the lead in the table and we all know how strong Inter Milan is when they are at the top of the league, I did not also trust Inter Milan because they can lose match against a small team.

I don't think Napoli has lost their ability, but they are starting to feel like they are being matched by other teams who are starting to develop better and are able to fight unlike the previous season when Napoli dominated the league very well.

Gasperini's influence is very clear. He gave Atalanta a clear identity and consistency over many seasons and without him they look far less settled in Serie A. His impact Roma also says alot, despite a squad that isnt the strongest on paper, they have stayed at the top and remained in the title race largely because of his structure and ideas. Atlanta's case is interesting though. Their domestic form has been uneven but in the Champions League, they have shown discipline and competitiveness. The Serie A has been really competitive recently, so I is just normal to see if switches comes  up in the near future and obviously the Roma position is clear temporarily, they do not have the stability that will keep them there for the longest so I am not expecting much from them staying at tha position with this competitive pase of the league.
