Atalanta has no option than to accept defeat at home because they couldn't hold on to their ground. Inter played better than them all through the match. They got a goal in the first half but it was ruled out by VAR before Martinez goal came in at the last quarter of the game. Inter deserves the victory.

Anyway, the goals were disallowed by both sides so i can't understand why this is causing such a stir, it's as if they started 0-0 so nothing actually happened, but now they must have the chance to win some games, i sincerely hoped for Atalanta

Obviously, the performances are not comparable, but I don't see everything as doom and gloom for Atalanta. Atalanta lost but the performance wasn't entirely a bad one. Besides, I don't think losing to Inter Milan who's clearly stronger than Atalanta at the moment is a tragedy. Atalanta is currently tenth on the table with twenty two points and to me, that's the position they deserved for what they have been so far. If the outcome of a game is determine by the performance of the team, Atalanta deserve at least a draw in this match. But yeah, you can not gift a goal to opponent, miss your own chances and then expect a fair result when you're playing against a team like Inter.

what do you expect from Atalanta club before in that game, you think they will beat inter Milan that is leading the Italian league to lose points. The both club performances was good in that game but inter Milan have potential strikers than Atalanta in this season, which is the professional working we saw from the strikers of inter Milan to secured goal that gave them victory to remain the top of the Italian league table despite AC Milan and Napoli won their games too.

One thing some people don't understand about inter Milan is that they added some players despite they are not weak in this Italian league and other leagues. It hard for other clubs to beat inter Milan easily which is the reason people like to predict for their favour, because they have potential strikers that are active in goals scoring.

I largely concur with what Ace has thus far evaluated Atalanta to be. They are undoubtedly not on the same footing (particularly with regards to consistency and quality, in general) as they were last season, but that does not imply that their season has been a disaster. The standards were high, following the past campaigns, and therefore, any decline is bound to be more drastic. They have been struggling in Serie A, but in the champions league they appear to be more competitive and concentrated even to the extent of doing better than other Italian clubs. However, as they go beyond the round of 16, it will be hard but not impossible. The new coach seems to have found his ground and performances in the recent past seem to indicate that Atalanta are starting to be more stable and balanced.

I think the journey of this season is still very long so we can't say anything because I think in terms of percentage the 4 teams currently at the top have the same percentage to win the title so it's difficult for us to just say Inter Milan can maintain its position at the top of the standings, in terms of matches this season I think anything is possible especially the very small points difference makes me say that the percentage of several teams to win the title this season is quite the same.

The journey has just begun and is going quite smoothly for many teams, there is still a lot to play for and the results we are seeing now i don't think are what we will see in the end, clearly these results are a reflection of the form of some teams.

This kind of thing happens often in Serie A I mean things that don't make sense, somehow Atalanta as the home team couldn't manage a single shot on target even though we know how Atalanta plays in the Champions League, is Inter Milan defense that strong? it is difficult to predict because previously Inter Milan conceded against Bologna and Genoa.

Their current coach, Raffaele Palladino. seems to have found the right strategy for this team. Atalanta has become more structured in attack and defense. They have become more stable and slightly stronger compared to the start of the season. And perhaps Raffaele Palladino could make Atalanta even better than this. Especially since we are still at the beginning when it comes to the UCL. So there is still time for Atalanta to train to become even better. At the same time, roma's previous weaknesses in attack are clearly visible. Roma are definitely the favourites  against genoa. But if the attack continues to perform so poorly, it will be difficult for Roma to win. But one thing is for sure , Genoa's defence is very weak. Scoring against this defence should not be a difficult task for roma. Gesperini will  definitely identify the weaknesses in genoa's defence and will  do his best to get 3  points from the match. Roma  will want to get back on track by winning this match.

I don't really know what is happening to Atlanta this season, a team with high dominating strength capable of humiliating opponents beyond expectations now playing below average team even with there compete squad. How will Atlanta play a complete game without a shot on target even when the game was in a balanced strength with just 5 percent difference in possession, that alone is a sign that Atlanta's attacking strength needs reinforcement to be able to face the task ahead of them because with there performance in yesterday game against inter i see know sign of seriousness in that front line.

Inter really struggled to win atalanta which makes me wonder if they can really win the title when they have teams like ac milan and napoli to contend with...atlanta isn't in form currently and inter found it difficult to win. Did you watch the match because Inter was unlucky not to get more than one goal. Inter, played Atalanta as if they were babies on the field. Atalanta was unable to get two shots on target. I didn't say it was a bad performance, Atalanta this season has personally amazed me, I can only compliment Atalanta.
I really don't think he's capable of reaching the podium, but he can also give the big teams a hard time and therefore be able to hold back the top-placed teams as well.
My speech is like team pride, they are not intimidated and they want to show that they have the attributes to compete with anyone and they are showing it in the Champions League. Now that time and the end of the season is approaching, they will (in my opinion) play more aggressively than usual and therefore should really be a problem for those who meet them.
Inter didn't play very well in my opinion, they just had the chance to score and they did, but I didn't see any great plays.

It was cancelled because some part of Thuram body came out offside during the VAR, from his right shoulder to his right foot was on offside, Manuel Akanji was almost the first to score for Inter Milan with great corner kick played that he could have scored from, whenever I'm watching him on Inter Milan I remember him in Manchester City an how big the club was. If there was a draw between Inter Milan and Atalanta, Barella and Luis Henrique would have been the two players who brought it on them, they wouldn't say the post was far for them to strike, Barella got the first space and didn't strike, Luis Henrique got the ball next and began to do what I did not understand till they didn't score it.

Even beyond the serie A, Atalanta does try to stay at their very best even when it is not easy to really keep up with considering their kind of form and strength  all round, I have little expectations of them in the champions league but in their domestic league, I am open to acceptinga top pursuit for the title but most likely they may achieve  the top four positions but may not win the title this season going by their perceived performance so far.

In this match, Atalanta tried hard to respond to the game and draw the match against Inter but they could not succeed. However, Atalanta also performed quite well and their game was also very good. However, if Atalanta had won this match, they could have occupied a position in the points table but they lost due to which they did not get points. However, Inter is currently in good form and if they are successful in collecting full points in the next matches, they will definitely qualify to become champions. However, the way the four teams in the points table are currently constantly in the gap of points, this season will definitely be very competitive. I have always struggled to understand how Serie A draws up the match schedule.
There are teams that play every three days and teams that play every six days.
Here is an example:

How it can be possible to saw yesterday a team like Atalanda shooting 0 yes zero shots on target playing against Inter in their home?. I really cant believe it when this kind of things happens, we are talking about a good team with super players and they cant shoot to the goal, what a missery.

Anyways really good win for Inter and a bad lose for Atalanta who keeps losing points and the gap is widening.
