At the moment no one seems to be giving up, they are all heading towards victory and not leaving the field to the opponents, we are in a paradoxical situation but one that also makes the championship open and fun.

Actually I see it as a battle of managers now. The youngest manager in the title race is Chivu (45) now. He is fighting for his first Serie A trophy of his manager career against much more experienced managers.

Of course he has a better squad than all of them. But still if a manager is bad he can't make it anyway. So far Chivu hasn't looked amazing in big games. But he is better in the rest of the fixtures. I think he will be winning this fight at the end of the season.

Como could indeed close in on Juventus if they win at home this weekend. Udinese is not a weak team in Serie A this season. Losing to such teams a team as Cagliari could be very expensive in a title fight this close and there is no use in denying the pressure. At home, Cagliari tend to be stubborn, and with Milan in its shape, depth and mentality the difference should be made. Such are the type of matches champions are taught how to manage. It's really good to have a coach that's ambitious someone who can bring out the best in average players, Como really did well to hire Fabregas and it's paying off, I believe he'll help them finish in a good position this season, im not sure if the top 4 could be secured, but they could qualify for a spot that could help them participate in the conference league atleast.
 However, Como shouldn't do everything possible to keep Fabregas for atleast one more season, i learnt that he's one of the preferred replacement for Enzo Maresca even though he doesn't secure the job it shows that people are watching closely and could snatch him from Como, which could cause issues for the team, anyways im impressed with the teams performance.

Finish this season with a position that is high enough for being eligible for a slot to one of three UEFA leagues is interesting for a small club like Como. I agree that top four is impossible for them but a position for joining either Europa League or Conference League next season will be great achievement for Como.

This season is amazing for them as a continuation of their last impressive season and they can try best, enjoy this season as well as any achievement they gain at the season ending but the next season will be chaotic for them. Nico Paz will return to Real Madrid due to an agreement between two clubs and losing Nico Paz will affect Como a lot in attacks. In addition, there is another big risk and effect if Como losing Cesc Fabregasc after this season, as I really don't think Cesc will stay with Como for many other seasons.

I don't think they will allow Cagliari to win this game or draw this game with AC Milan no matter what will happen. this new year first game victory is very important to fans to determine how the remaining games will look like at the end of the tournament. Take it or not this is a very tricky match for AC Milan, the worst team you would love to play away from home when you are a big side is Cagliari, they are just so stubborn and in games like this I won’t even be shock if I see AC Milan dropping points today.
