I see that Massimiliano Allegri is really serious about winning the league and he's doing everything possible to win it. Well im surprised that Ac Milan won their recent match by just one goal, it was enough to keep them ahead of other teams in the Serie A but it's not enough flr a team that seriously wants to win the scudetto.

It is still too early to say whether Napoli will be crowned Serie A champions this season, as the season is still very long. Furthermore, this season competition is much tighter than before, with more teams competing for the Scudetto.

For other competitions Milan may always feel defeated but in terms of results in Serie A they are starting to return to their stability even when talking about their statistics in Serie A they have only tasted defeat once in 16 weeks of running even though the draw ratio is far more than other Scudetto contenders.

Only one of my worries in this match is when they can't take advantage of the advantage. Cagliari's sitting 15th are all thinking it's a formality. Except Cagliari just won at home against Roma. And they always seem to make a score right after halftime.

And Modrić, I love the man. But he's 40 and he's already played more minutes than anyone else in the squad.  I want them to win. I think they will. But 1-1 is more likely than anyone is willing to admit.

Milan are on a completely different level right now and are fighting for the Scudetto, so dropping points in matches like this is not an option. They’ve been consistent in the league and look far more confident overall. New year and they smashed it with a win. Luka Modric is just the man with the passion, creativity and productivity when going forward. I have always looked out for him since his move to Ac Milan, it was yet another masterclass performance from Luka Modric but most importantly, the general team did well to carry out the tactics of Allegri. In the beginning of the season, I initially thought they weren't a serious contender and will most likely fall below the par as the season progresses but no, they've been a serious challenger for the league title and even in the second half of the season, they now sit at the top of the league table with that narrow win against Cagliari last night. Milan managed to keep their score and still in the title race, Juventus have improved and can still compete (they will have to try really hard).

The top teams in the table are separated by very few points, somewhat like in the early 2000s, and then there are the scorers in this Serie A! There have been 196 different goalscorers, but after 18 matches, no one has managed to reach double figures. To be clear, the top scorer is Lautaro Martinez with nine goals.
