While I understand the shock people have when Como beats Lazio this easily, because we have seen Lazio be a big team in this league for many years whereas Como is brand new. The reality is that Como spends more money than even Lazio, so it is not a shocker that they would build a better team.

Of course it is not really that much of a guaranteed thing just because one team spends more money, you could spend money and still lose, but Como did have all the possibilities of building a better team.

I think that is what they are trying to achieve this season. They want to see themselves finishing in a Champions League spot, so that they can also see if they are capable of doing wonders in the Champions League. I know for sure that if Como can make it to the Champions League with such performances, they will be able to make it to the round of 16, even if they are knocked out there. At least they tried their best, as Como are not a big team with lots of experience, but still they are doing the best they can to achieve their goals. I know they will be able to achieve a spot in the Champions League.

I wasn?t that surprised because I know what Como can do this season. They are one of the best average team that?s given all these big teams tough time, they are going toe to toe with big teams because they are in good form; they have not been taken it lightly with average teams they only lose to big teams and that?s why they have gone far this season seating of the Serie A table with five points ahead of Atalanta.

Lazio has not been playing really well this season you can check for their previous matches, even Como have good games in their pregames than Lazio and that?s why was why I wasn?t shocked with the result, although I never expected the result to be this poor.

1907 Como is one of the best teams in the league, obviously i am not surprised and i don't think it's far from what they were doing a short time ago, now they have to focus and keep this pace, the Serie A is not over and they know it well, they certainly have a good chance of going to the Champions League, which is fantastic.

I was also surprised by this victory, since quite recently Milan could be said to have outclassed Como, although now the game looks different (if Como had been more successful in finishing attacks, the score would have been 3-3 at least).
Como was better than Lazio in every way, and Niko Paz scored a brace, cementing the fact that Real Madrid will buy him back   A very unpleasant fact for Como, especially considering that they will receive around 10 million for him, although he is already worth much more.

Actually, Como is one of the contenders this season; they've put up a very good fight against many big teams and aren't in a bad position in the standings. Finishing in a position that would qualify them for European competition would be enough for them. They are currently 6th in the league, and a better position is not impossible for them. If they hadn't lost a few points, they would be in a much better position right now

I believe no body saw it coming leaning on how good the Lazio club have been in their previous matches, nobody would have thought that Como will have been able to defeat Lazio with a such a humiliating margin.

 I'm beginning to picture this Como club to be threatening  opposition to the elite club in the future for the champions league slots in the Serie A. with what they are doing presently.

It shows that the home advantage doesn't guarantee that a host team would win a match, if a team doesn't give their best then they’ll end up losing, although it can be very disappointing to fans of the club and even the players too would be disappointed that they've failed their fans in their home ground.

 It would be so surprising to see them finish ahead of some top clubs in the league but for that to happen they'll have to be more consistent cause the league is now tougher and winning Lazio won't guarantee that they'll win their upcoming matches if they don't put more effort to do so. I was really impressed with their performance though.

Home advantage can not be completely discounted from having influence in a club's win in a match with the energy and chantings from the crowded home fans in motivation of the home players, it does, but the players are required to play their roles adequately to complement all of that against the visitors.

I concur with your position on what Como must do to have a good shot at finishing in the top four. The whole team has been performing according to their talent and ability and where they may not win all the matches remaining in the upcoming games for this season, they can win sufficient points to take them to the european conference at lest.

This season, como's performance has surprised everyone. They have proven  their ability. The team has been able to fight hard against  big teams. I especially want to praise como's defense. This team has one of the strongest defenses among the clubs in serie A this season. Como has conceded only 16  goals in  21 matches. They have  won most of their matches because of their strong defense. If como's attack was a little stronger, I am sure they would have been  able to finish in the top 4 of the table. The team is still trying to stay in the top  4 of the table and qualify for the champions league.

It must be admitted that Como were better than Lazio, so this victory was well-deserved.
However, what I found interesting was Como's mentality. After losing to AC Milan in their previous match, they didn't let up; instead, they performed even better. This demonstrates a strong team mentality, and now Como is back on the right track.

As I said in the other thread, both Como and their coach, Cesc Fabregas, are working really hard to get to Europe.
In my opinion they have a good chance of doing it, as they are really focused on achieving this, which would be the fulfillment of a dream for the team and a great point for Fabregas who would raise his value as a coach.

Como's performance is surprising everyone. The team is performing incredibly well. The team is now in sixth place in the points table. Juventus are only 2  points behind.

Como's players will naturally  have more confidence after the win against lazio. I am sure como boys will play better in next matches. They are hardworking. The bond between the players is strong and their performance  is strong. And the team will try to qualify  for the europa league from the top 5 of the table. If juventus and roma do not play consistently well , these two teams will drop out of the top 5, and como will take their place.

I easily see Como as a team that can do very well compared to the other teams that are considered very great by everyone. It's clear that they are very strong but they can easily stay ahead of teams like Lazio or even others. It's a shame that Nico Paz will be leaving.

This is what I really regret about Como. Next season, the team will no longer have one of its best players, Nico Paz. Real madrid has rekindled its interest in this player and has activated the buy-back clause for him from Como. So Nico Paz will only play for Como until the end of this season. And I'm not sure if Como will find a player as good as Nico Paz. but I think as long as Fabregas remains the coach of this team, everything will be fine. Because I see one of the keys to this team's success is having a coach as good as Fabregas.

That would be too much to say about Como yet. Why? Because they aren't that good yet. Yes they have made a great development. This is clearly seen from their results.

But staying in a title race until the end necessitates a high level consistency. We don't know if they will be reaching that level in such a short time.

It is never easy to deal with big teams like Inter, Milan, Napoli and so on. Besides will they even manage to keep their best players this summer?

Aside thee money spent, which is already a big factor, Como has a clear system of how they play. We see it in every game they play, whether they win or lose. They have a system, and they stick to it. All that is needed is for them to perfect the system, and they stand a better chance of winning any team, especially teams like Lazio that are not very consistent.
I wasn't shocked to see that Como won the game. The shock may be that Lazio did not score a goal despite conceding three. Como has shown that they are not a fluke, and if they continue on this path and keep getting the right players, trust and back the manager, then they may be a regular Champions League team and may even fight for the league. It's a gradual process; hopefully, they don't make any decisions that will derail their progress, like letting go of the manager or not backing him with the right players.
I believe they will qualify for Europe this season. They will make it to the  Europa  League or Conference League at the least.

There is a possibility that they can become title contenders next season provided Fabregas does not go elsewhere, because this person is one of the brains behind Como's ferocity since he first participated in the Serie A championship until this season, what he has done we have seen, Como continues to show positive developments. All that remains is to maintain a level of consistency and add quality ammunition to the team.

I get your point dear but also try to understand that it doesn't guarantee the success of a team in a particular match, else Lazio would've won Como cause I believe they’ll have more fans who would be there to cheer them to victory and stuff but then it went the other way round, it's not like they were not cheer or motivated enough but they didn't just put enough effort to win.

 Also know that luck can play a role too, in the sense that they might put effort to win the match but were so unfortunate to find the net. Well I respect that Como players weren't pressured by the chant of the opposition fans but did everything possible to secure the three points which is most important to be considered winners.

Como is indeed a team that has undergone significant change and development. Starting from their struggle to break into Serie A even after being promoted to Serie A last season they surprised the big teams. This season is even better as they now have a chance to compete for a UCL spot. It's fair to say that Como has transformed into a team to be reckoned with despite only being promoted to Serie A last season. I see Como current development as inseparable from the club success in finding its identity under new investors and transforming it into a football club that aligns with business and tourism. So Como management is undoubtedly adept at managing the team and their project under Fabregas is indeed a major one.

The question remains can Como management withstand the temptations of the big clubs that are courting them? This is something we should wait for because I believe if they manage to retain their star players and even bring in new ones Como will be a contender for the Serie A trophy in the next few seasons. If Como can qualify for the UCL this season they will be a dark horse in Europe.

At first glance, it seems to me that Inter Milan has still managed to maintain their best position in the Italian league. Actually we are impressed by their performance, as they recently won 1:0 against Udinese. Many might have been waiting to see some more surprises in this game, but after Lautaro Martinez scored a goal in the 20th minute, we didn't see any other Milan player score. However, I believe that everyone can agree that this Italian league team has prepared well ahead of an important match in the UEFA Champions League. and it's correct that this team is going to face PL giants Gunners in the UEFA Champions League, which will undoubtedly be one of the toughest games for them.

We are still in the lead with a 3-point advantage over Milan and a 6-point advantage over Napoli.
I think that now the only serious rival for the Scudetto is Milan, Napoli has dropped a lot and i don't think they will be able to do anything special, they don't have the strength to play in the championship and the Champions League

Personally I believe that now Paz is most exciting young player in Italy since he has kind of skill magic which makes him control speed of game as young Alexis Mac Allister or Paulo Dybala. In this form, he will not just be backup to older Golden Generation in North America this summer, but he will be true superstar who might well make Real Madrid use their buy-back choice sooner than would have been expected.

Nico Paz has that special thing which we call quality of time, when ball is at his feet, he seems to have all time to play. He is not only goalscorer but also game creator that helps everybody around him. I think he is perfect join point between Messi history and future of Albiceleste.

Como has difficulty position with Nico Paz because has buy back release with Real Madrid if sometime interested to get him back, I want to see Nico Paz can bring Como finish at Champion League spot standings and firstly in history will play at UCL for next season.

Como beat Juventus in the first time in seventy years and Paz scored that goal. There you have their miracle season all right, the peak of it. And how are all of us now still expecting them to complete in the top four when they are six points behind and have to play Atalanta first?

What no one discusses is how ideal the situation is to him. Paz was the foundation of the whole system built by Fabregas (who played in Barcelona and Arsenal, who trained under some of the best). He receives the freedom most players do not experience. And credit to him, he's using it. Not that he is doing it in a hardcore Allegri arrangement or anything.

The height thing is insane to me in fact. He is 6'1" which is huge as a playmaker, an Argentine to be exact. Means he can push violently, duel, protect the ball (things Dybala never did at his age).

But sustainability? When Paz is subbed off approximately 80 minutes per match, Como ceases to create. There's no backup plan.

I believe Europa league is feasible and in fact would be tremendous to them. UCL is requesting magic on magic.

And just, by the way, Madrid is taking him in June.

Napoli had nothing to look forward to, but their busy schedule saw their performance decline, giving Milan the opportunity to compete with Inter Milan. In retrospect, Napoli should have been able to compete domestically, given their already strong squad, but Conte likely wanted the team to also compete for the Champions League. Consequently, their performance became inconsistent, leading to points being dropped in several matches.

Another important 1-0 win for Napoli, after one loss and 3 draws in the previous weeks, probably a massive game for Antonio Vergara! It was his second game as a Napoli starter, It was great to see him play! Hojlund seems to lack the instincts of a natural goalscorer. He isn't held to the same standards as Lukaku. Hasn't scored in five games and we all know, that's not the attitude of a striker.
 I keep saying that Napoli is the only team that can fight for the Scudetto against Inter, their only problem would be injuries. As a football lover, I only congratulate Napoli because they are a great team, with players who, despite the fear of injuries, give their all!! And I hope they can reach the play-offs and secure a better UCL spot.

Lazio is mentally strong, I totally agree with you, but yesterday Como showed that they can break their mental strength and resistance. If they continue like this, they can certainly do really well. I think they are a team that can really show us that it's never over.

Como definitely breaks mentally whoever they play against, they play a very dominant game where they keep the possession and they try to do a very good job trying to make sure the other team fears them, they try to play like a very big team.

Sometimes that works well for them because they are actually better like this Lazio game, sometimes they lose because they are not actually that big, Como plays bigger than what they are actually and the other teams opportunity to use that when they can.
