22 matches, 27 goals but still in 3rd place... Roma are doing a really interesting work in the Serie A this season.    It is thanks to Gasperini. We shouldn't forget about Ranieri too though as he started this process.

Their rise continues however there is an issue. Everything seems okay for them with this squad for now. But if they will aim to do more than finishing in top 4 next season then this squad needs to get consolidated with new players.

Roma during the last two seasons finished fifty and sixth although they weren't in a good shape. This season they are better, yet nothing guarantees they will end among the top four because the points gap between them and the teams above them until Como is just three points making their position fragile and can shift from 3rd to 6th in less than two rounds. This doesn't mean they didn't improve and means also they do need to reinforce their team even better.
Meanwhile, Roma made a partnership with Gissah, a luxury fragrance brand in the Gulf region which includes Saudi Arabia and the other rich oil countries, so I assume they will have more funds to spend on players.

Starting from the beginning of the season, Roma gave their best, even though Roma is no longer the choice of many people as a potential champion, even being in the top 5 is very difficult. During the past two seasons, Roma seems to have lost their performance and experienced players, so it is a serious matter for the team to rise to its glory days.
We hope that as long as they work with luxury perfume brands, there will be additional new players brought in when the transfer market opens. I admit that this season Roma has done their best.

Roma needs to start spending if they want to be title Contenders in the Italian Serie A. Although the Italian teams don't spend much they mostly go for players that are not at their peak anymore or players that are below their potentials and aren't starting for their teams.
Roma is a strong team and their draw against Ac Milan shows that they can go against even the strongest teams in Italy.
With their performance I will want to see them ahead of Napoli.

I don't think Fiorentina is focused on cup matches right now, as they've already dropped into the relegation zone in Serie A, and now need to think about maintaining their place in the league. Como on the other hand, is on the rise, and I think that since they're struggling to climb the table, they'll want to try to achieve success in another tournament, and the Coppa Italia could be a good fit. So I expect a victory for Como, but I also think a draw could be possible in regulation time if Fiorentina plays well defensively.

Juventus actually secured a great victory against Napoli. Their performance showed that they are still a significant threat in big matches. No one should ever underestimate Juventus. Their main goal, however, is to qualify for the Champions League.

The performance of the team Roma is really very impressive and incredible in the Serie A this season. And I think in this regard all the appreciation is truly deserving is their coach who is really managing the team in a good way and struggling to make them finish in top positions.  Because their performance is much improved than the previous seasons. And the most important thing which is to drive them towards the continuous improvements that is I think the relationship between the coach and the players and their understanding level. Because the team is really playing not being an individual. And if Roma keeps going on the same way or with the same strength they will definitely achieve a certain position.

Lukaku may have recovered, but he is still not in good form after his injury. As for KDB, I think he is still injured and is expected to return to play in April. and well, that's at the end of the season. That's a very long list of injured players. Napoli is suffering a lot in the Champions League. It should get to the knockout stage quickly so that they can be eliminated from the competition.

Aside from the injuries, Napoli is one of the worst teams in the Champions Leage Before now, they have lost most games, I am sure they will lose against Chelsea tomorrow.

Roma's main problem is their inability to score goals. Look, they've only scored 27 goals in 22 matches. That's almost one goal per game. As a result, they're inevitably dropping points. Roma needs to score more goals to improve. What keeps them in the title race is their excellent defense. I'd say Roma is the best defensive team in Italy. If their defense were bad, they'd probably be in the middle of the table. If they're still in the title race, they can only take it a step further by signing a good striker.

However, the draw between Milan and Roma created a slightly different picture than we anticipated. If Inter had also dropped points this week, we would have seen a very interesting standings; even with the most crucial match ending in a draw, the gap between the three teams would only be two points. But Inter seized the opportunity and managed to widen the point difference between themselves and their rivals.

Inter have shown very serious results and have won the matches they "had to" win, unlike Milan, Roma, and Napoli. Roma and Milan shared the points as expected, but i didn’t think Napoli could lose so badly to Juventus. I watched the match, and Napoli are in a serious player crisis , as many as seven players who would normally be starters were missing. I’m convinced, and i’ll say it again, that if everyone were available, we would be looking at a league table similar to last season’s

Honestly this is a big list of good players who are seriously needed to make the team stronger to face any opponent, they need these players. I'm even scared of how the team would look like if someone like Scott McTominay gets injured...it will be a bigger problem and this is not the time for management, they need to try as much as they can I mean Conte to improvise and get things start happening if not Napoli might miss out on better opportunities especially in the league since they're part of the title race, even if they're not that close I still feel they can try. Tomorrow they'll be hosting Chelsea in the champions league, how are they going to manage against a complete Chelsea side?

I'm happy for Gasperini because he is a complicate person but a great manager, and Roma is probably the perfect place for him because it doesn't have the same pressure of other cities: of course the fans are super passionate and want to win, but the management knows Roma are not ready yet to win, they must still build the team. And it's also interesting to see Gasperini outside of the Atalanta environment, should he prove himself winning with Roma I'm sure sooner or later he'll be Italy's new manager.

I'm happy for Gasperini because he is a complicate person but a great manager, and Roma is probably the perfect place for him because it doesn't have the same pressure of other cities: of course the fans are super passionate and want to win, but the management knows Roma are not ready yet to win, they must still build the team. Chance of Gian Piera Gasperini joining AS Roma would be interesting planning test since current bosses in club do not believe in quick cup demands but, on other hand, focus on long term projects. Although his 3-4-3 way of playing is bold and needs high energy wingbacks, as well as certain kinds of athletes that Roma may have to buy, his power to change young players to stars perfectly fits goal of club which is money safety.

Northern clubs such as Inter have company pressure but Roma does not which creates feeling setting in which passionate person such as Gasperini would feel at home, mostly given that owners appear to be patient enough to allow him to build special style. Having him be able to do same thing in bigger club such as Roma, by winning cup, would mean that he is able to keep high level of pressure and he would likely be most fit person to lead Italy national team. Truly updating playing style of Roma would make his hard to understand image mark of greatness, and clear his way to being next national boss.

Losing 3 goals is pretty bad. There are several problems that I see besides dependence on KDB. Napoli's defensive transition was poor. When losing the ball, the distance between the lines is too far. Central defenders often lose one-on-one duels, especially when countering quickly. Napoli lost physicality and intensity in the middle. Bad decision making and unsettled finishing. But indeed, apart from that Juventus performed well, Juventus was able to appear very disciplined. Losing KDB made Napoli fail to break Juve's low blocks, send through passes accurately and they were unable to Control the tempo when falling behind.  IMO

KDB wasn't on this team last season and yet they managed to win the title, so him missing can't be the only problem they have, it's something else. While I understand attacking is lacking, Lukaku was great and with Hojlund or whoever else they play whenever they have to, it is not the same as last season, but conceding three goals has nothing to do with offense, it's only has to do with defense. Simply put, they are tired, and they are no longer playing like old days, they are just gassed out there every game.

Napoli is definitely in trouble right now because with so many injured Napoli players it will definitely make it difficult for Napoli to win, especially in the Champions League, which will definitely be even more difficult for Napoli to win, especially when their opponent is Chelsea. Napoli actually, if they have players who are not injured much, Napoli will definitely play better, but unfortunately Napoli currently seems to be unlucky. think Inter's lead can be sustained until the end of the season. We are seeing the real race for the Champions League. Atalanta, Juventus, Como, Roma, and Napoli are all in contention. Although Atalanta is trailing, they are still in contention for the Champions League. While Inter has set their sights on the Champions League, they are very keen to win the Italian league.

I am truly satisfied with my Inter, truly. Like Lillominato89, I've always supported Inter, but in recent years I've been a satisfied fan. They work well and are very serious and professional.

No matter how good a manager is when injuries sets in, the team will definitely suffer. If Napoli is having this numbers of first team players injured there's absolutely nothing they can do because they will have to rely on their academy players to fill up those positions and these are players that lack first team experiences. Unless it is a club that is financially capable to bring in new players, and Napoli is not that financially capable. Their struggle this season is understandable. Having two to four players injured can be manageable, but eight is just too much all managers will struggle with that number.

Juventus is trying super hard to catch Roma and Napoli, because Juventus wants to be in UCL next season and there is a very big possibility that it can be done and we are going to see that as a possibility. Juventus took a while to overcome that financially bad period, but they are looking like in a year or maximum two years they can be fighting for the top places yet again. They are building a very good squad again.

Yes is true, no one expected that they could score so many goals and fix the team at this level, clear that this team was built to be the best, clear that these are the results of hard work that only they can do with the right coach that is Spalletti Luciano.
