As far as I can see Napoli have a free win this week! Because their opponent is going to be Fiorentina in Naples.    Fiorentina have just got eliminated from Coppa Italia as well.

Everything is going worse for them. In the meantime Napoli have had a really poor form lately. They won only once in last 5 weeks in the Serie A. They should be winning this match without excuses.

On paper Napoli has the upper hand and this match played at home presents an opportunity for them to secure three points. Furthermore, Napoli is currently far behind Inter Milan who are at the top of the standings. They are certainly eager to close the gap and maintain their position in the top four.

Fiorentina's form has been dismal so far, having failed to win in their last five matches, placing them in the relegation zone. They are indeed motivated to escape the relegation zone but with their current form it seems very difficult to face a strong team like Napoli. Fiorentina have had a truly difficult season in 22 matches winning only three drawing eight and losing 11 leaving them in 18th place in the standings one point behind Lecce who are in 17th place.

Chance of Gian Piera Gasperini joining AS Roma would be interesting planning test since current bosses in club do not believe in quick cup demands but, on other hand, focus on long term projects. Although his 3-4-3 way of playing is bold and needs high energy wingbacks, as well as certain kinds of athletes that Roma may have to buy, his power to change young players to stars perfectly fits goal of club which is money safety.

Northern clubs such as Inter have company pressure but Roma does not which creates feeling setting in which passionate person such as Gasperini would feel at home, mostly given that owners appear to be patient enough to allow him to build special style. Having him be able to do same thing in bigger club such as Roma, by winning cup, would mean that he is able to keep high level of pressure and he would likely be most fit person to lead Italy national team. Truly updating playing style of Roma would make his hard to understand image mark of greatness, and clear his way to being next national boss.

Gianpiero Gasperini is doing a good job and it shows. At the moment Roma is tied with Napoli, the defending Italian champions, and only 4 points behind second place, so I'd say that third place at this point in the championship with all this competition means they're doing well.

Napoli are missing a lot of players which seems to me to be a good misfortune and they can do nothing but try to plug the holes they have which does not surprise me.
They have to try to do well with what they have in the Sidpoistion, but it is not always possible see with Juventus.

Losing many experienced players in Napoli is a good fortune for other teams to take the opportunity to beat them, covering up the shortcomings that exist in each match is not always optimal even though there are still the best players at the moment. A team like Napoli loses its direction, it is a big loss, not all teams can cover up their weaknesses, against big teams in the League will continue to worsen the situation and trauma for the team with consecutive defeats. The point is that Napoli needs to make changes after this season is over.

Since Kevin de Bruyne wasn't part of the Napoli team that beat Inter Milan in the race for the Scudetto last season, I disagree with you that Kevin de Bruyne's absence is the reason why Napoli is finding it difficult to win their matches in all competitions. Kevin de Bruyne is an important player for Napoli, and he has helped Napoli win matches, but Napoli needs all their key players that are injured to regain fitness before they can be consistent in winning their matches.

Last 5 matches in Serie A, Napoli got bad result just winning one match and playing draw 3 matches then got loss one match from Juventus last week, moment for Napoli back to top performance and get three points every Serie A matches left if won't seeing Inter Milan get longer time for leading top position. Inter has comfortable for leading top position of Serie A has 5 points left with Milan and Napoli has gap 9 points remaining too difficult how to stop Inter this season.

No matter how good a manager is when injuries sets in, the team will definitely suffer. If Napoli is having this numbers of first team players injured there's absolutely nothing they can do because they will have to rely on their academy players to fill up those positions and these are players that lack first team experiences. Unless it is a club that is financially capable to bring in new players, and Napoli is not that financially capable. Their struggle this season is understandable. Having two to four players injured can be manageable, but eight is just too much all managers will struggle with that number.

"No matter how good manager is", doesn't work here. Because half of the reason why they are missing so many players is Conte himself. He plays very harsh running football, his goal is to be the team that runs the most on average in this league, when all said and done, when you look back on the season, he wants Napoli to be the team that ran the most per game on average.

When you have that, and also tire players out in training to keep them in shape, injury is inevitable. That is what we are seeing here, this is not some "oh they got unlucky with injuries" type of situation at hand, this is injury list being high because of the way they are playing and what Conte is doing. So he is quite responsible for it himself.

I want to believe that, but Fiorentina is not at all predictable when facing strong opponents, the motivation and enthusiasm of the players are more visible when the opponent is a strong team, for example, Milan, Lazio, Bologna and Juventus, these 4 teams were completely overwhelmed against Fiorentina, whose performance was poor this season, plus Napoli condition is not so good with the loss of many main players who must be absent due to injury problems, I would not be surprised if in the end Napoli lost 3 points in this match.

Injuries have affected a lot of teams and Napoli is also one of them so other teams just need to take advantage of this and try to overtake them. If De Bruyne and other players are back I believe they will be more competitive.

In my humble opinion, we are wrong to assume that Fiorentina will lose against Napoli!
It is true that they have been playing very badly since the start of the season, but it is also true that Napoli have not been doing well at all recently!

22 matches, 27 goals but still in 3rd place... Roma are doing a really interesting work in the Serie A this season.    It is thanks to Gasperini. We shouldn't forget about Ranieri too though as he started this process.

Gasperini is one of the coaches who is quite complex and indeed his performance in training cannot be doubted because being in the Champions League zone is not new to him considering that previously Atalanta was always in the same order even though the quality of their players was still far below the big clubs in Serie A.

This season he is in Rome with great expectations for public Roma because with what he always did at Atalanta of course this will provide great expectations even though this is still the first season for Gasperini.
Fortunately with what he is showing at the moment seems to be in accordance with what is expected although there are still things that still have to be improved but I think Gasperini is still in line with expectations and he just has to be more able to maximize finishing for now because for the current condition of the middle they are more organized.

Fiorentina are not desperate from staying in the league but it will be a tough task to survive in Serie A. I think that it is not important at this stage to consider any other competition except Serie A because the survival of the team is more important than any other title. They are currently tied 2-2 with Chelsea, and there are 10 minutes left in the match. Chelsea seems to be the better team. Unless something changes in the remaining minutes, the match will end in a draw. With these results, Napoli is out of the title race. Therefore, they absolutely must win in the last 10 minutes. Napoli needs to give their best with all their players to score. Chelsea is a very tough team; it's unfortunate for them to have to play against such a difficult opponent in their last match.

With these eight injured players, I don't think we can expect much from the Napoli vs Chelsea match in the UCL tomorrow. 

Yes,, even though Napoli will be the home team in this match, if their squad is in this condition, I'm sure they'll have a hard time keeping up with Chelsea's performance. Chelsea clearly has a better squad,, so looking at that, I think Napoli will fail to advance to the next round of the UCL.

Napoli is currently in 25th place,, and if they lose again in this Final Match,, they will definitely not be able to enter the playoffs. But what can you do? This is currently Napoli's problem, and they must be able to survive with their squad like this. So, if Napoli loses against Chelsea, I think that's normal.

But,, hopefully, I hope there's a miracle that makes Napoli win this match. Because it would be very exciting if Napoli,, as a representative team from Serie A, could advance a little further in the UCL. Because if we look at the current UCL standings,, not a single Serie A team has even qualified for the top 10. That's why I'm personally quite concerned about this.

They shown up without Levi Colwill who took a hit to their ACL. Which is their main centre back. Gone. So it's not as if they were at full strength either. People just don't speak about it because English clubs just get a pass on injuries somehow.

Conte's teams always do this weird thing where they look completely dead.The media says the locker room is imploding, with everybody fighting... And then they base grind out results anyway.

Juventus played the smart game and beat Napoli 3-0 in game that has shown having ball does not always lead to points. Although Napoli had ball throughout 59% of game and made 566 passes successfully, they entered into holding trap put by Juventus manager Thiago Motta, which meant that they could only have shots of low quality and received very low predicted goals rating.

Juventus was much more useful as it used deadly fast attack to score with help of Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz before Filip Kostic scored final goal in 88th minute to remove any idea of them turning around. I think this result shows that stiff way used by Antonio Conte at Napoli is not doing well with more modern plans, since their midfield were not able to create real chances with ball in their hands. Such big victory makes Juventus certain favorites of league victory this season.

Napoli performance has declined drastically from last season the most striking thing is the attack line which looks less effective while the defense is not much better either so they are unable to compete in the Champions League this is also one of the reasons why they are rumored to be looking for some new players to improve team performance but financial constraints are holding them back a bit so there are not many options available. In this situation nothing can be expected from Napoli even in Serie A , I'm sure they're just focused on the top 4 this season.

Last night, Napoli really failed to beat Chelsea, so with this they finally failed to advance to the next round in the UCL. I personally actually regret this, because Napoli is actually a very good team, but maybe because currently many of their players are injured, it makes their performance optimal in this match. But even so, in this match Napoli was still able to play well, because they also had the lead in the first half. But in the second half, Napoli's performance became chaotic and Chelsea players were able to take advantage of all of that very well and finally Chelsea was able to score 2 goals which made Napoli lose in this match.

And besides that, currently the teams representing Serie A in the UCL, all of them are also unable to enter the top 8 positions, so basically the three teams from Serie A must play in the play-off round first to be able to qualify for the next round. So here I can conclude that currently the competitiveness of the teams from Serie A is not good. But that's okay, because they might play well after this.
