What a shame for the whole SerieA what Napoli did in Champions League, i dont know why always the Napoli team does so bad in european competitions, they always lack something when they play outside Italy, this time they gift to the other teams a patetic result since is crazy to think the former SerieA title holder is out of the top european competition.

Antonio Conte failed Napoli, I still can't comprehend how they lost control of a match where they were leading by 2 goals, the tactical approach of the Napoli coach was very absurd, Napoli was trying to defend the two goals lead thereby giving Chelsea more space to pass the ball around and create more space in front of the Napoli goal.

I never envisaged a scenario where Chelsea could win that game but considering how persistent the Chelsea team were it became possible for them to get the winning goal late into the second half helping the team move up from the danger zone.

There is a Como - Atalanta match this week. These are teams placed in 6th and 7th positions in the table now. The gap is 5 points.

I just see this as a good opportunity for Como to consolidate their place more. Winning this one isn't a far possibility. They already drew with Atalanta away 1-1.

Maybe Juventus might also leave points away against Parma...    It would be for the benefit of Como a lot.

It's a shame Napoli journey ended in the UCL competition. I was hoping they could beat Chelsea to advance to the knockout stage. After the lose to Juventus during the weekend game Napoli and Antonio Conte thought they will return back to winning ways against Chelsea but disappointment met them again in presence of their home fans as Chelsea secure four consecutive wins under a new manager against them. Indeed a huge shame because if this how they aim to defend the Seria A, then I'm afraid they are far from defending it. Fiorentina will not be easy since they are struggling with relegation. A both teams score seem likely.

It is quite strange when we look at their performance in Serie A, which seems fine. But in the UCL, they are not like Napoli. They lose easily and do not play with their usual strength. However, one of the reasons for Napoli's defeat this time is quite reasonable. Several of their key players were unable to play and strengthen Napoli due to injuries. this wasn't just the case for one or two players, but several players at once. Still, failing to qualify for the playoffs there is a bit disappointing. Meanwhile, other Serie A teams managed to qualify. Even atalanta, who performed poorly in Serie A, still managed to make it to the playoffs there. And only Napoli was eliminated.

Last night, Napoli really failed to beat Chelsea, so with this they finally failed to advance to the next round in the UCL. I personally actually regret this, because Napoli is actually a very good team, but maybe because currently many of their players are injured, it makes their performance optimal in this match. But even so, in this match Napoli was still able to play well, because they also had the lead in the first half. But in the second half, Napoli's performance became chaotic and Chelsea players were able to take advantage of all of that very well and finally Chelsea was able to score 2 goals which made Napoli lose in this match.

And besides that, currently the teams representing Serie A in the UCL, all of them are also unable to enter the top 8 positions, so basically the three teams from Serie A must play in the play-off round first to be able to qualify for the next round. So here I can conclude that currently the competitiveness of the teams from Serie A is not good. But that's okay, because they might play well after this.

I think what is lost in all this is just how tired they looked. Not even tactically outplayed - just physically done.

You watch McTominay in the first half and he's everywhere because Anguissa is injured and Gilmour is out. There's quite literally nobody else. Then second half hits and he's just... Gone. Running on empty. The Italian papers called him "drained" and honestly that's the perfect word for it.

But what really hit me was the Chelsea away record thing. They hadn't won away in Champions League since 2022. Three full years. And Napoli hadn't lost in their home in more than a year. Both those streaks ended in the same ninety minutes and I don't think that's a coincidence.

Rosenior's been at Chelsea what, three weeks? And he still figured it out at half-time. Admitted he got it wrong, changed the set up, brought fresh legs on. Conte doesn't do that. Never has. He's got one way and if it doesn't work... Well, we saw what happens.

The greater concern to me isn't even Napoli as such. It's what it means to Italian football as a whole. Inter should be fine against Bodo/Glimt but Juventus drew away against Galatasaray. If you know anything about Turkish crowds in Europe you know that's a nightmare.

Because there is heavy competition and everyone is struggling to have the best position or title. And I think in this situation there will be no space for the ones who are not struggling. And I think Chelsea's win is more deserving as they are the much better team than the Napoli. So, Napoli has to make some efforts to be in the best place.

Lazio need more to be among the teams that we all have to see as the big boys, these days they manager to win games and their position is not the type you'd applaud and say they're doing well. Roma, Ac Milan, Juventus and Atalanta, these are the clubs that have stayed for long in the top flight, they have been doing well at least they do make European competitions every season but looking at how Lazio dropped their form makes me see them as Fiorentina who have lost form. Some players who are suppose to make the team look stronger are no where to be found and it pains me that whenever these clubs sell they don't replace... winning 3-2 was a very lucky win if you ask me.

Pedro was a person who played crutial role in this match because he did 2 goals in this match and he did first goal at 19 minutes of the match and that goal was at penalty. The shots of that team were 6 in this match and 4 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 50 percent in this match and Pedro did his first goal at 61 minutes of the match and and he did his second goal at 82 minutes of the match. The pass accuracy of Chelsea football team was excellent in this match and that was the reason they won this match easily. Fernandez was a person who first goal and he gave full strength to his team when no team score was in this match And we saw first goal by Fernandez.

Yes you are right, Chelsea's Joao Pedro changed the game in that Champions League match and I personally think that he is the player who is most responsible for Napoli's stumbling.
