Como is definitely a team to follow closely, whatever the result, they always put in excellent performances, win or lose. Having a team that was very small and seeing them perform so well now seems absurd to me, but it's so beautiful and exciting that it can certainly make Italian football great.

What I admire about Como this season is that they were able to beat Napoli in the Coppa Italia quarterfinals, although Como won't have a guaranteed Coppa Italia final, as they face Inter Milan in the semifinals, who have consistently looked strong in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia. So, I also admire Como's efforts and achievements throughout this season, even though they haven't been able to compete with the big teams like Inter or Milan this season, as their strengths are still vastly different.

Como has been a respected team since their promotion to Serie A repeatedly troubling strong teams. This season, their performance has remained consistent, even making history by advancing to the Coppa Italia semifinals after defeating Napoli the defending Serie A champions.

Como always surprises us. They've built a very solid team under Fabregas. Initially thought to be just a passing fad in Serie A, Como has now established themselves as a top-tier Serie A team. They are now aiming to make history by finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Just recently Como managed to beat Napoli at cup game ,it was penalties and to the last minute but they managed to get the win and prove to the world once again that they are better than their place in the league and doing a great job.

I know that it's hard to consider them as a top team yet, but they are getting there slowly and I think as long as they keep getting their wins in the cup, there is a chance that they could be in good places in the following years as well. I know they won't be top four this year, so no UCL for them next year, but they are getting closer.

After reading your comment, I forced myself to look at Roma's past statistics. Is Roma that good a team? What you are referring to? Their position has not changed in the last three seasons. They are in 5th place this season, they finished 5th last season too. They are performing relatively well despite the financial crisis, but not as much as you describe. Even their tactics have some weaknesses, in modern football it is difficult to achieve anything big with a defensive strategy.

Cagliari was doing well, having won 3 games in a row. This was a first for them this season. But that streak has come to an end. Winning away at Roma was always going to be difficult, let's be realistic. Roma, who haven't won in 2 weeks, are pushing for a top-4 finish. Today, they won thanks to goals from Donyell Malen.
Malen was quite good at Dortmund but didn't get enough chances at Aston Villa. He's back in form at Roma. He's scored 3 goals in 4 matches now. If he keeps this up, Roma will exercise his buyout option.

I really like this player, to be honest! Roma have done well to sign him on loan, and if he continues to perform well, they could exercise their option to buy him, but I honestly don't know whether the contract specifies that this is a right or an obligation. These are two very important differences, and I hope for Roma's sake that they chose the obligation option.

Como 1907 are not slightly in form but in a roughly good form for a team of their cadre and I believe they will not be intimidated by Napoli's profile tonight. I love it how you admit on the attacking capacity of Como how strong it is, and should they take a lead in the match before Napoli, then it will be difficult for Napoli to win.

This Como team is most certainly a revelation especially knowing the fact that they only came from relegation not a while back and now they are pulling up more numbers and wins against teams that are supposed to be winning them on a steady, I mean it just shows how this team is capable of winning and doing exceptional things. Personally I just hope they get the chance to actually win the coppa Italia because they have deserve some sort of rewards for the excellent football they are playing.

Como has been a standout team in Italy this year. They may not win the championship, but everyone will be talking more about their performance than the champions this year. I don't see Atalanta as a big team. Atalanta is an average team which was why they didn't think big and allowed these people leave the club. If they're big, they will want to maintain their quality and aim higher of winning Scudetto. I think this was why they don't care about the club's future and did what they wanted and it's affecting them negatively.

Atalanta is becoming a team that doesn't have much to offer compared to what it was a while ago. It doesn't even seem like the team that scored 3 goals in the Europa League final anymore. It seems like a lifetime ago, but in reality it was only last year. This thing bothers me a bit. Seeing a team with such potential is a shame.

There performance is very poor this season and you are very right that they don't really have anything to offer that is why they did exactly what they are doing because if you should look at the table they are not really doing much over there the only thing I see them doing and in there last five games they won three and draw two and are currently occupying the seventh position on the table, and for some one to be occupying that kind of position seems they have nothing nothing to offer because they will find it very hard to make even the top four because the clubs there won't even give them that chance.

Most teams will start well but there problem will start in the middle were they will find it very difficult to keep up with the competition so nothing surprises me when it comes to the way the clubs are performing they need to do better if they really have the intention of winning the league, majority of them lact consistency that is were one of there problems is coming from they give people the intention of starting well but at the end of the day it ends in disappointment.

Malen had a very good game for Roma, and many fans are happy with him right now. He scored two goals, making for a very successful performance for Roma. The Dutch player is actually a quality player, and he showed us that in Germany, but he couldn't quite adapt to the demanding atmosphere of the Premier League. I think he will find himself in Italy and become a good striker like Romelu Lukaku. I think it's a good transfer for Roma.

Atalanta's decision bad for them and good for the rivals. It was like they don't have a plan to expanding beyond where they have gotten. After Atalanta won the Europa league in 2024 they haven't done anything spectacular, instead they have declined  and much more when they exited Gasperini, and beyond the possibilities they still let go the hattrick scorer that earned them the Europa trophy in 2024, Ademola Lookman. I wonder how they're really going to get back to their best form with all these.

This isn’t even related to Atlanta alone but also to most mid clubs in most European leagues, once they simply are able to actually compete and win a competition or play spectacular in a season instead of building on that momentum they simply just relax and worst still sell off their best players from the previous seasons. Yes I understand that it is the players who mostly do not want to stay because they don’t usually rate such seasons will happen again at the club and with top clubs usually after the players but what I know is even with the players departure the club can still find suitable replacement but most do not do that and that’s why the following season they do suffer a lot.

That's correct mate, it's an inter-multi-league problem found within just the mid table teams which most persons really haven't taken notice of. For instance look at Tottenham Hotspur grinding just close to the relegation zone on the league table, for a team which won the Europa League last season they still couldn't get quality players to elevate their play for this season. Another team which is almost becoming a relic if not already, is Leicester city, after winning the EPL trophy in 2016, the next season till date they've gone from hero to zero, now relegated to the lower division. It's an awful reality that these clubs are just not ready to spend as much as possible to get great replacements when they could have.

Donyell Melan is a tough player, and it wouldn't be a bad idea if Roma secures and completes his contract deal permanently. He's actually given out by Villa with an option for a close deal like you was wondering, but I don't see him to have that potentials for longevity for the team. He's 26 already and has pretty much a decent record all through the teams he has played for. 294 appearances and 104 goals across all competitions isn't a joke for a striker of his level, but a 3-year contract at best for Roma is what I'd prefer if I were the managements.

From the beginning of the competition many doubted the Como team especially since they were one of the newly promoted teams so it was natural that many doubted the team but as time went by in the Serie-A competition the Como team seemed to answer all the doubts of those who looked down on the team coached by Fabregas so that currently the team has become one of the teams that is taken into account by many teams because the strength and quality of the players who inhabit the Como team are actually more able to provide impressive results so that currently the team is in the position that is usually occupied by teams that have been competing for a long time in the Seria-A title namely 6th meaning that this team has a goal even though it has only competed in the Serie-A this season but with the composition of young and old players that makes this team one of the teams that can compete in Europe or UCL next season. Moreover they recently held the defending champion team Napoli meaning that the strength possessed by this team is very worthy of being reckoned with this season and I am even more confident that for the next season they will be even more ready to participate in the competition because in their first season alone they have contributed a lot to the performance and also maintained the reputation of the team that was just promoted to the Serie-A title.

The Juventus game will be the hardest of course, because Juventus needs to win if they want to be in the top four this season, whereas Inter doesn't really need a win, even if they lose they have a guarantee that they will be in the top place this week, so it is going to be a tough game to put 100% in that game.

But for a few weeks, they have easy games. First Juventus game, which they can afford to lose, then Bodo game which they are far better so they should be winning, then Lecce, who is a very bad team and Inter should easily win and then Bodo again. So looking at their schedule, they are in luck for a few weeks at least.

Napoli certainly needs more focused improvements for the remainder of the season, although it's a little late for Napoli to do so, as Inter Milan already had a full-strength lead. Meanwhile, in the Coppa Italia, Como were fortunate to win only a penalty kick, despite their impressive performance, as they took the lead against Napoli midway through the match. It's a real shame, then, that Napoli were eliminated early from this season's Coppa Italia competition by a less-than-stellar team.
