Conte is just stubborn with his certain ways of management. It worked last season somehow maybe but it doesn't this season. They are losing points easily not only in big games but also in ones against smaller teams.

They suffers a crushing defeat, Lecce won two goals to none against them and they didn't even have a single shot on target throughout the game. The score could have even be higher if not for the two saves from their goalkeeper, that was a very bad performance..

I didn't expect Cagliari to lose, which obviously puts pressure on Fiorentina, who had managed to perform a miracle in Como and drawn level with Lecce.
It will be really tough for Fiorentina to avoid relegation; it will be a battle with Lecce to avoid finishing third-last.

With the way Inter is going, I really doubt that they are going to lose out on the title this year, last year was already not so great and last minute with a small margin loss for them, so they do not want the same and they can focus on the league this season. I really did not expect the manager change to be this good for them, Chivu didn't look like someone who would make that much of a change for anyone and for that reason I think it's clear that we are shocked to see Chivu being this good.

I thought it was a desperation move by them, in fact when he first took over I assumed he was just interim and will manage for a few games and then they will agree to get someone better, and yet dude proved me wrong and they are doing great.

Yes, I also think that everything is already over for Napoli. This is not because Inter Milan or AC Milan are better and can leave Napoli behind, but I see that all these problems are because Napoli always performs worse. Even compared to the start of the season, the team's performance has not improved; on the contrary, it has worsened. So for Napoli, there is no possibility left this season. Realistically, they will probably only aim to finish in the top 4 to secure a spot in the next season's Champions League.

For now the league battle is going be between two teams not 4 teams like 2 months back. Inter have 61pts and they look like they have no competition behind but Ac Milan can cause some damages only if Inter Milan start dropping points and this can happen if the champions league begins but for now Ac Milan need to rely on one special miracle to happen before they can close the gap even with their 1 game at hand.

These are the matches that are among the most important of the championship because they are the final ones that will decide everything, the matches that are played will always be more intense and full of twists and turns, however i would not have expected anything other than this from Napoli, nothing more and nothing less, a match that is like this

Modric so far has played amazingly for AC Milan, contributed not only key passes, assists but also some winning goals for them, however I believe that it's hard for Modric to maintain his excellent performances throughout this season. If he gets considerable decline in performance quality, AC Milan will be affected a lot in ball possession in the midfield as well as attacking power.

It was difficult to predict as I said and I'm glad not to have bet on any side in the Napoli - Roma match.    I'm pretty sure I wouldn't pick draw. It would most probably be Napoli to win. They couldn't even get ahead during the match for once... 

Betting on goals was reasonable though. Over 2.5 goals and BTTS would come to the minds first. Both won. Over 3.5 goals would be way extra to predict. Anyways I just wish Roma won after managing to get ahead 2 times.

Fiorentina is one of the most renowned teams in serie A . But the team is going through a very bad time this season. They are now in  18th place in the points table. They are still trying to avoid th e relegation zone.

If fiorentina can keep their performance stable in a few matches, then they will be able to get out of the  relegation zone. Now they are in a relatively good form. They have won only  4 matches this season. Of these , they have won two in the last  5 matches. They are only 3  points behind Lecce, who are in  17th place in the table. Fiorentina can avoid the relegation zone if they can win a few matches in a row.

The points gap did not seem so wide because it is only an 8 point difference between Inter Milan and AC Milan, and AC Milan still have one outstanding match to be played. However, the issue is that AC Milan are not consistent. If AC Milan are consistent in the few matches left to be played, it is very possible for them to close the gap. Once they win their outstanding match, the point difference will drop to five points, and that will be easier to catch up.

Inter Milan also have other competitions to play, especially the Champions League, which I believe could be a distraction for them. They may focus on those competitions and probably drop some points in a few league matches. That could give AC Milan the opportunity to close the points gap.What matters now, if AC Milan do not want to lose the title race, is that they need to put in extra effort and be determined to win all their remaining matches. Without that determination, I would easily conclude that Inter Milan will surely be the title winner.

A match that has not been played should not be put into account to me Inter Milan is going away with this league because eight points is a big difference to me considering the present forms of the top five teams. This season apart from inter Milan all other top five teams has been struggling really bad. You don't expect to win the league when you put up a good result today and the next day you are losing to even the smallest team on the league this is what Milan has turned out to be so personally speaking I don't think that Milan will put so much threat to inter in the top.

I am the kind of person who consider a game not played as a victorious one until proven otherwise. I mean I consider AC Milan as the one which won the game and that the difference between them and Inter Milan as 5 points until Como defeat them then it is 8.
I find considering it as 8 points will make Inter Milan less vigilant and not minding missing points.

Yeah I agree. The other teams under Inter Milan are in pressure to catch them. Yet, when you see how Juventus was humiliated by Galatasaray in UEFA Champions League, you wonder how these teams could challenge Inter for the scudetto. The level is far from what the champion of Serie A should be.

Playing at home against Roma who's also been impressive this season, I concluded that it'll be a game with multiple goals so I predicted 3+ goals in my bet. Picking a straight win option or draw in such a match was something I considered too risky to go for.
The result of the game was a bigger blow to the home team who are now 11 points behind league leaders and most likely not gonna retain the league title that they won last season.

I haven't been following up with Napoli lately, but where they not leading the serie a at some point this season?. I hope I'm not remembering last season, but what the hell even happened this season?. Like, 11 points behind the league leaders. I just checked all the games that has been played, and honestly speaking, it hasn't been great so far. Drawing too many games that they ought to win. Conte is obviously not doing something right this season. I wouldn't say that Injury has been a major concern because they don't suffer from injuries too often AFAIK. From the look of things, Napoli might not retain the trophy this season. I guess it is time to pass it on to another team.

It should be, the problem is that Fiorentina performance is not much worse than the teams you mentioned, another problem is when we see them winning from strong teams in the following week they can lose to weak teams, teams that are categorized into a squad much worse than them or also with teams that are equal, Fiorentina are a strange and unpredictable team in my opinion this season.

Many people didn't give them a chance against Como, but they proved themselves. They played a magnificent game and beat Como, a standout team this year. Fiorentina will move away from the relegation zone. I believe in them. They can do their best.

If Napoli wants to defend the title they should have played consistently from the beginning instead of just waiting for other teams to make mistakes because Inter and Milan will try to do their best because both of them are also competing in the scudetto hunt, it seems that Napoli does not have a chance to defend the title this season because the point difference is too far from Inter Milan.

Conte does have his own characteristics in managing the team but it seems that this time he failed to make Napoli perform well even in the Champions League Conte failed to take Napoli further it seems that he is starting to run out of his brilliant ideas.
