Atalanta defeated Napoli 2–1 at home. With this loss, Napoli are now completely out of the title race.

This victory is very important for Atalanta because they earned a crucial three points in the battle to finish 5th or 6th in the league.

AS Roma also secured an important win and maintained their position in the standings. They managed to keep the points gap with their rivals intact.

I didn’t see that game but how on earth do they keep losing games they should have won, this is embarrassing.

Atalanta I thought with the exit of Ademola Lookman will fall down but they have progressed where they should have fall. They have picked themselves up correctly.  It seems like they will be the club to snatch that third position soon enough.

Perhaps people said like that because Napoli actually played well, almost dominated the first half and they scored first too, but all these things are nothing as eventually they let Atalanta scoring not only one, but two goals, and beat Napoli down. This defeat means more than only 3 points lost to Atalanta as it gives Atalanta a chance of directly reducing point difference with Napoli to only 5 points. This important win is very helpful for Atalanta to rescue their opportunity of racing and getting a fourth position together with Como, Juventus, Napoli and AS Roma. They are all very closely with each other in Serie A rank table especially Napoli, Juventus, Como and Atalanta.

Napoli after this defeat, not only losing a third position to AS Roma, but they also feeling more pressure from below clubs: Juventus, Como and Atalanta. They are declining in performance quality, match results and have to deal with bigger pressure from competitors.

Yesterday, Milan lost at home, extending Inter's lead to 10 points and practically guaranteeing their championship. Of course, there are still many matches ahead, but Inter won't give their rivals a chance at this stage. They also have the advantage of playing the Champions League return leg in Italy. If they can force their opponents into a panicked game with an early goal, Inter could be the team to advance. Now it's time to focus on the Champions League. Everything is going well for Inter in the league.

Just because of the points? Have you actually seen how Milan plays?

I'm talking here from a POV of a Milan fan, half of the victories were cringe fests! Nothing more than a cringe fest when you waited and waited for Pulisic to score or hope and pray till the last minute the defense held.
In 15 victories they have only 4 times managed to score a two goal differnce, the rest is jsut 1-0 , 2-1, 1-0
Title? Remember how Milan started? Losing with Cremonese for god's sake!

Bookies never pushed Milan below 3.75 for the title, and Inter was only once below 2.0 and that not because of Milan but Napoli!
If you think that Italian teams are playign bad right now in CL, wait till the next season!

Milan drew 2-2 to Parma before, Milan drew with 2-2 Pisa the 19th team, lost two poitns again with Fiorentina 18th with a 1-1 , lost to Cremonese  16th, the writing was on the wall, the team is just throwing coins, dow we play well or do we don't care at all and let it go how the wind blows.

Napoli still could finish the league fourth place, we have third place as nearly guaranteed, and fourth place at worse case is for sure, there is no doubt for Napoli anymore, nothing really to fight for either. They are not going to be second place, but even if they do, second and third is not a huge difference, so there is no need to fight for it.

You either try to fight for a first place, which Inter will not give up and the gap is too big with 14 points already and that's done, or you fight to stay in the top four, which they are already there and won't be going down. So that means there is nothing they are going to fight for anymore, if they can't be first place and if they will be in top four then what else to fight for?

Currently, no club is in a good form compared to Inter. When the season is on your side and wants to favor you, there will be limited injury cases which wouldn't affect the team performance in order for them to stay in form till the end of the season and win the trophy. Like you said, fatigue and injury is a big setback to clubs who are on the title race.

It was a great week for Inter. They won three points and continued their championship run without a loss. Their rivals, however, both lost this week. Napoli and Milan dropped three points, while Inter won. Their chances of winning the championship are now very high. While theoretically the possibilities remain, practically speaking, I think the championship race is over. Looking at Inter's remaining matches, they will be the team to finish the league as champions. A few weeks ago we thought the serie a title race would be very intense. The battle between inter milan and Ac milan would also be very crowded. But now the scenario is completely different. inter milan will win the title, it is almost certain.

Inter milan is now  10 points ahead of ac milan. It is a big gap. At the same time, there is a big chance that inter milan will be eliminated in  the champions league play-offs . If they are  eliminated from the champions league, they will be able to focus completely on serie A and it will be easier for them to maintain a stable performance in serie A.

It’s all over for AC Milan, there’s nothing more to hope for from them, and in my opinion, this team doesn’t even have the effort for it. They are really terrible, and I am very disappointed in all of that.

I think clearly this is the point Milan say goodbye to their chance of league title logically. Maybe not mathematically but coming back from 10 points with this performance even in easy games looks not much possible.  

Just how can they manage to lose against Parma at San Siro? The stats will tell you they were dominant but it doesn't matter as long as you don't score. Inter have been flawless in such games for a really long time.

It is clear that there is no other team than Inter that deserve the Serie A title now.

Yes, it was an embarrassing match for Milan fans. Everyone expected Milan to win this game, hoping to keep an eye on Inter. However, Milan surprised everyone by losing at home. I'm sure Inter were surprised by Milan's loss too. Furthermore, Inter was the biggest winner this week, gaining a huge advantage in the title race.

As a fan, I am very disappointed... How could Milan be defeated at home by Parma? That was a bad game, only passing - passing - never ending happy, now 10 points behind Inter and the Scudetto race is over. What's sad is that they are playing no other matches except in Serie A, no Europe, and they are still struggling in the league. lol
For Inter...There's nothing more to say. Their consistency in the league has provided ample proof of this team's quality. Inter will win the Scudetto this season. Imo

I don't know what Massimiliano Allegri is doing, but Milan isn't working at all. They're drawing with Como and losing to Parma. How can they expect to catch up with Inter on this basis?
