Milan chances of winning the Scudetto are almost certainly gone. They now trail Inter by 10 points, a large enough gap especially Inter's strong form. I don't blame Massimiliano Allegri, as Milan's squad simply isn't strong enough to compete with Inter for the title. Therefore, reasonable Milan's performance has declined, as they lack sufficient squad depth. Next season, Milan must bring in several quality players to challenge for the Scudetto, because if not, it is not impossible that Inter will win the Scudetto again next season.

I don't see Milan in it anymore either. The point gap has reached double digits as you also mentioned. They just can't come back from this much behind while they are losing in simple matches. At least they are much better than last season thanks to Allegri...

I guess Inter wouldn't mess up in similar matches during the remainder of the season. Maybe they might stumble in some big matches. But I don't think even that would create a big trouble for them.

i am quite disappointed to lose against Parma.
I don't know what Massimiliano Allegri is doing, but Milan isn't working at all. They're drawing with Como and losing to Parma. How can they expect to catch up with Inter on this basis?

Many gamblers lost their money. It was Milan's home match. Parma was not a very strong opponent either. Naturally, Milan was considered the favorite. But Milan lost the match.

Milan's attack was very visible in this match. Especially their finishing was weak. They made a lot of attacks, they created a lot of chances. I will not blame Allegri. They did not have any tactical weaknesses in this match. Milan dominated the match, Milan players managed to make 23 shots. Even then, AC Milan could not score a single goal in the match. I would say that Milan management should take the necessary steps to strengthen the attack.

I think I have to agree with you, the gap is wide and there are no grounds to think he can do it in the next few games.
Unfortunately, the performances are inconsistent and even with an inferior team in terms of performances they do not perform, this I believe is the outcome that Inter friends expect (if they do not stumble).

Serie A, which was initially very competitive at the beginning of the season, ultimately left Inter dominating the remainder of the season. Milan drew too many matches that should have been easy for them. That is what caused them to fail in competing with Inter. Their performance dropped, presenting an opportunity for Inter to lift the trophy, after they lost it the previous season due to a very disappointing one-point difference.

Unfortunately, with limited quality player resource, AC Milan players tend to be tired and exhausted then lost their best performances in recent matches. It's just they don't have enough deep quality squad for playing well through a long season especially when the competition is against a very strong and consistent Inter Milan.

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. Allegri seems to be cursed and must always implement team strategies with few players, with many injuries, and always in a state of emergency.
I really don't understand this coach's bad luck, it's a shame because i think he's very good.

Como is an underrated team in the Serie A yet they have successfully fought their way to the top through hard work and commitment and I believe it is only fair that they be given an opportunity to showcase or express their zeal and what they have to offer to football at the highest level.
Since their breakthrough into the Serie A they have being competing with all sense of urgency and commitment towards making a mark in European football and i must admit that they have being successful in proving this point.

They're not underrated, you're wrong. In my opinion, they're correctly rated, and deservedly in sixth place. The team that's currently taking a hit is Milan, as a team, and Juventus as well.
They have been playing badly for at least 3 games now and this is not good.

Firstly Como was underrated in the beginning of the league but after they have shown themselves by stopping the big teams in the league they have been well known to be a good tewm that is able to defeat any team in the league. Como ill nit finish in the 6th place in the league I see them overtaking Juventus or Roma, if that happens they will be in the champions League next season.

Milan, Juventus and Napoli are a disappointment and the hit will surely draw them backwards if they do not make amend and prove themselves as the big team teams they are.

Hardly was it conceived that a team like Como would make it to the position where they are standing on now, they played draw against Milan, won against Napoli and Juventus this season. And on top of all that, they're in the semifinals of the Copa Italian.

I think clearly this is the point Milan say goodbye to their chance of league title logically. Maybe not mathematically but coming back from 10 points with this performance even in easy games looks not much possible.  

Just how can they manage to lose against Parma at San Siro? The stats will tell you they were dominant but it doesn't matter as long as you don't score. Inter have been flawless in such games for a really long time.

It is clear that there is no other team than Inter that deserve the Serie A title now.

Mentally it is also the hardest part for them right now they have to try to maintain that high place in the table to try to at least go to the Champions League to avoid any other problems, this is a very difficult part of the table and the decisions that are made will be fundamental for the next matches.

Napoli has to be the biggest disappointment, it felt really bad for adding them to my betslip, losing to Atalanta was unexpected because they were supposed to use the game to make up for their poor performances. As for como they are also doing their best this season and it's very possible for them to finish in the 6th place or perhaps even the 5th if they are consistent enough.

Atalanta defeated Napoli 2–1 at home. With this loss, Napoli are now completely out of the title race.

This victory is very important for Atalanta because they earned a crucial three points in the battle to finish 5th or 6th in the league.

AS Roma also secured an important win and maintained their position in the standings. They managed to keep the points gap with their rivals intact.

At this point Napoli are completely done for the season, losing to Atalanta was a huge embarrassment, even after they managed ti score in the first half and also winning almost winning the game they conceded 2 goals. Napoli are now struggling to even remain in the top four and their loss yesterday kept Roma in the third position. Whatever issue they have cannot really be fixed anytime soon.

Napoli have done worst than this in previous seasons and still managed to recover if I can remember back memories, but then the worst case scenario with Napoli in this season is that, the club started on a good foot haven't won their first game's in this season and that pushed them higher in points, but between middle and after the season break their performance have remained on decline this something that is now consistently happening in most of their games, just conceding goals towards last minute of the match just like what happen in the last game with Atlanta where their conceded 2:1 goals after scoring first in the match.

I agree with you, mate. Como is rated fairly. Sixth place would be their maximum goal, and there are lots of teams in contention for sixth place, such as Bologna, Atalanta and Lazio. At the start of the season, I would have said Fiorentina too, but unfortunately they haven't performed at their best this year.
So yes, I think Como is in the right position, but if they finish fifth, I wouldn't be surprised because they play with real enthusiasm.

I don't bet on napoli winning  unless their opponents are very weak. Because napoli's overall performance is quite erratic. They  fight hard to win even against mediocre teams. In the match against Atalanta, I also thought napoli would win or the match would be  drawn. Napoli performed quite well in the first half. Even then, they lost the match 2-1 . They have been eliminated from the title race  long ago. If their such erratic  performance does not improve, they will not be able to stay in the top  4 of the table.

Exactly, all gambler favorite Milan win the match against Parma not really strong team seeing the current standings position but Milan has loss 0-1 although playing at home can't give an advantage position for winning the games. Dominance the games by creating many shots on target can't help yet for Milan winning the match from Parma playing with defense and Parma scoring the goal trough corner kick.
Its bad result for Milan and must forgetting the Scudetto tittle with Inter Milan after losing three points make gap become 10 points from the top position, its quite difficult for catching up Inter's points although  Serie A has 12 matches left and both team will meet at 27. Last chance for Milan if can secure three points at Milan derby match will make gap 7 points but wish the other team can get points when facing Inter Milan.

Como has shown remarkable competitiveness in Serie A and has performed exceptionally well this season. Finishing in the top four to qualify for the Champions League is no easy feat, as I see Roma, Napoli and Juventus as equally likely candidates, despite their lack of consistency at times. Como's resurgence has surprised everyone, as no one predicted this consistent performance at the start of the season.

Milan haven't disappointed too much, having so far managed to reach second place in the standings, though they've struggled to keep pace with Inter Milan at the top. Napoli have seen a significant dip in form despite winning the Scudetto last season, and are now fighting to maintain their fourth-place finish and potentially qualify for next season's Champions League.

I never expect Como to come this far to be close to top table clubs at the moment. I guess a lot will still going to happen before the end of this tournament, because those clubs you just mentioned they are playing well to compete with Como but it will be hard for them to withstand Como in their remaining games. It is no longer a new thing that inter Milan will be the lucky club to lift this trophy, because they started leading other clubs from the beginning of this tournament till now they are still toping to make sure what happened last season happen again for their favour.

If you view where Como is heading to in this tournament, I guess they will end up in fouth position, because they have potential players to make it happen.

When they scored first in their last game against Atalanta, I assumed that Antonio Conte's side would at least get a draw. But they ended up giving up the lead and conceded a goal in the last twenty minutes of the game. They have been knocked out of the Champions League. The Serie A is very important for them since they will want to at least qualify for next season's UCL. But from their current form, they might not be able to defend the title. Napoli is now fourteen points below league toppers Inter Milan. So Conte's team is far from the top.

Roma got a very easy win against Cremonese. Not only the score tells us this but also the way they played... Their opponent had only 2 shots in the whole match and their goal expectation was near zero. 

As Napoli lost on the same week Roma managed to equalize the points with them in the standings. They are still behind Napoli though because of head-to-head results.

Cescs Fabregas is doing wonders in the Italian league. I don't usually follow the serie a up to date, only check the league table once in a while. I was surprised to see Como at 6th position. Como have never played a Champions League football, if Fabregas and his players can do better, they will make it to the champions league next season. The points difference is not much, and less than 12 matches to go. This is very possible.

13th minute goal from Kean brings Fiorentina out of relegation zone for first time in this season, now they need to keep this momentum till end of this game against another relegation zone team Pisa at end of first half, host club having good control of ball, and they are playing aggressive game.

In upcoming 12 games of this season having good results and balanced performance will keep them in Serie A, while they were badly struggling in first half of this season without any win living in relegation zone terrible time for them, but now things are coming back on track. Big win against Como and then in UEFA Conference League against Polish side Jagiellonia give them boost for staying positive and have their best in coming games as well.

At this rate, Napoli will not qualify for the Champions League next year. What a pitiful record for their manager, six defeats and a full 14 points behind the leaders as reigning Italian champions.
For me, Antonio Conte remains just a good manager who knows how to get what he wants from the club.
