Atalanta qualifying is a miracle...I'm happy, but that doesn't change the fact that Italian football is in crisis, a truly worrying situation. Now Serie A feels miles off the elite level. The fall has been brutal. Historical teams are disappearing. A national team that is laughable due to a lack of local talent, they failed in youth development, and the result of that is failing to qualify for two straight World Cups. A rotten system unable to react. Immediate administration or the ultimate collapse of Italian football.

I would not call it a miracle. Because we saw Atalanta very serious in champions league first round matches. Their performance in serie a was quite erratic. Anyway , they have done well in the champions league. But it is true that after trailing 2-0  in the first leg, it was very difficult for them to secure a 3-goal win against dortmund. But atalanta played very well in the second leg. And they won the match 4-1 . Atalanta performed well to secure the win. And they deserve it. They were able to identify the weaknesses of dortmund's defense well.

Of course at the end the score line raised a lot of eye brows, we all knew it was going to be very difficult after trailing in the first leg but then being able to comeback from that is needed miraculous, because we all know Dortmond is not a bad side and should have been able o qualify. It was a good game from Atalanta and just like you side, they have been in good foam even at the domestic league.

Now they are through to the round of 16 and they will be facing bayern Munich which I will say they are second favorite to qualify. Well it going to be another big and entertaining game for us the spectators, it will also take another miracle to see Atalanta knock out bayern in this round of 16.

Inter, Napoli, and Juventus are excellent teams, but they're not doing well, so i thought that if these teams aren't doing well, there's also some problem with the league, which isn't as good as it once was. This question came to mind, and i also think that's unfortunately the case.

Atalanta shocked us all. My instinct is telling me that it's possible for Atalanta to go far because it seems the club performance is getting better. Assuming, Atalanta didn't qualify it would have been a shame on the Italian side. This was why someone was comparing Seria A highest goal scorer this season as weakling compared to other leagues that their highest goal scorers have scored a lot of goals.

I was disappointed about the poor display of Italian sides after none made it to the top eight, and three had to rely on the playoff to qualify. But I have respect for Juventus and Atalanta after the playoffs. The Old Lady showed so much determination to make it to the next level. They try to correct the mistake they made in Rams Park. It was the red card against Lloyd Kelly that affected them in the extra time.

Atalanta is the lightbearer of the Serie A in the UCL. I am scared that they might not progress further since they will be playing Bayern Munich.

This is what I think of betting on for the weekend. Total odds: 3.09

First of all, the last time all these 3 teams won on the same week was in Round 24. For 2 weeks this didn't happen. But I still want to try my luck with this 3-leg multi...

Inter will just focus on the Serie A and Coppa Italia from now on. Napoli and Milan also need to start winning. One is for trying not to open the gap more with Inter and the other is for not losing their place in top 4.

Atalanta is doing the job for the league and for the big teams, when the big ones has to show the face for league they failed and Atalanta is now the only italian team on Champions League they are a survivor, but at least they can change what happen in the past season when they go out because a bad game against Brugge in the same exact stage.

I don't know about total corners. It isn't a bet option that I choose mostly. But of course you can go for it. I just thought Napoli would attack with all they have to finish their bad streak recently.

I said Milan would win not to let the gap with Inter to get bigger. Actually it is not that I believe in them to go back in the title race. From now on, I don't expect Inter to mess up such a huge advantage.

I think this option will be too difficult to succeed. Napoli corner kick statistics are not good enough, especially in recent matches. Yes, maybe they can still create 5 or 6 corner kicks in this match, but what about Verona? They are at the bottom of the table, and I believe they will play defensively here, so it is unlikely that they will get any corner kicks, I think it is still realistic to choose Napoli or Under.

For these two teams, I agree. It's highly likely that Inter and Milan will end the match with a win.

I think you misjudged, although the team you mentioned was not good in the game, I don't think it was in all the games, they looked good on the other hand.
You can see for yourself the ranking of the Italian Serie A League standings this season, where Inter is still in 1st place, they scored 62 goals and 21 wins during this season's matches, as well as Napoli in 3rd place and followed by Juventus in 5th place.
I am sure that in the predictions for the 2025/2026 Italian Serie A League, Inter is still the favorite to win as well as Napoli, Juventus, they can be said to be the best and best team.

For a club that is leading Italian league table and you are saying the club is not doing well in this season? I disagree with you OP, because inter Milan started leading the table with plenty points before other clubs grown their points to reach second and 3rd position in the table. For Juventus and Napoli, I know that they are experiencing a big challenge that will not make them to lift this trophy, because some of the clubs they where beating last season easily they find it hard to secure 3 points from those clubs in this season for you to know how drop their performance has dropped in this season.

Anything that will make inter Milan not to lift this trophy, I don't think inter Milan coach will allow such thing to happen, because they have potential players that will make their remaining games serious to maintain the 1st position till they succeed to win the trophy.

The performance of Serie A teams has been very erratic this season. And it cannot be denied that  the quality of the teams has also decreased. If we compare them with the Premier League or La Liga teams, the serie a teams will now be far behind.

In the Serie A platform, we can see that the performance of no team is stable except Inter Milan. The performance of every team is very unstable. Fiorentina on good trend winning last two matches in a row and unbeaten last three games in Serie A, Fiorentina giving good signal get out from relegation standings by securing six points in last two games and must get three points against Udinese to reach middle standings position. Udinese actually playing not really bad after after winning two of the last four matches, Udinese still fight get out from relegation has 32 points still not secure yet if want to keep existing in Serie A next season.

I think too risk placing bet for Fiorentina although winning two matches in a row but Udinese has positive result when playing at home, I think Udinese has chance for stopping Fiorentina positive trend.

Udinese has lost 3 times in a row, while Fiorentina has not lost 3 times, while Udinese's position is better than Fiorentina in general, the away team is the favorite but still both are at high risk because no one knows which one will win while Udinese is only favored at home.

I will not take risks in betting in this match, plus I rarely watch the matches of the two teams, while I will divert to other matches for betting in the sense that the chances of winning are much greater than this match.

This is true that Italian football league is in swear crisis and they are badly failed to manage the clubs. And I think the Atlanta win is very well deserving because they just got this position by their lot of hard work and struggles. And calling it a miracle maybe an injustice with their efforts and dedications. They perform in the champions league very dedicatedly and it was clear from their body language that how much they are serious with their position and performance. But I think for Italian league it is the moment of take some serious actions or make policies to make the team able that they can participate like a strong teams. Because there were teams which are too good in performing well but I think due to the lack of attention they are experiencing this issue.

By focusing on the national cup the Bergamo club has more hope of winning over the trophy as well. Lessening in the intense load of the Serie A and the difficult game against Bayern Munich will enable the team to stay at the highest energy level possible. Everyone didn't have luck when their performance was declining and they met a tough opponent, causing them to lose in the qualifying round, we know they are a great team but their opponents are much better than them at the moment, we have to accept and admit that.
Atalanta is quite a great team and lucky because they are the only ones who can qualify for the round of 16, we have to appreciate that as a form of success as a representative.

This is football, and it has played out this way many times. Being strong at home does not mean you will do well outside, and doing bad at home doesn't mean you will not do well outside. I guess it's time it happens this way for the major clubs in Series A, but it's unfortunate, they do not represent the league well this season. Even the Atalanta that survived, for how long? It narrowly survived even as it was beaten in the first leg, but for the home advantage and more goals. They are something else at home this season.

You are right to be scared, even Atalanta fans, players, staffs and owners are scared already that they got drawn against Bayern Munich. I strongly believe that this is the end of Atalanta in this edition. There are clubs that don't usually exit the champions league in the round of 16 and Bayern Munich happens to be among the few elites club that falls under that category. Atalanta has done really well by getting to this stage. When the champions league table was drawn, I never expected Atlanta to be the last Man standing in all of Serial clubs that qualified for the group stages. So if they exist in the next round, they will bow out honourably.
