That's a fact about Atalanta considering they finished last season at the 3rd position! Now they are even struggling to enter top 6 unfortunately. I think the reason for this is crystal clear already.

Como will surely going to perform very well in the future, because they have displayed some winning that is making people to wish them well to be among the clubs that will qualify for champion league tournament next season. Who told you that Como isn't in a good form this season. I guess, you don't always watch their matches. Como has been a big headache to big clubs this season and if care isn't taken, Como might finish on top four on the table this season. However, they look weak in that match because they're playing with a big team Inter. Inter also wants to win Coppa Italia which was why they didn't give Como any chance to score them.

Como got great success in two latest seasons with management of Fabregas and contributions of some players including Nico Paz but these people will have very high probability of leaving Como in the summer transfer market. Fabregas is a young coach but two successful seasons in Como and Serie A might be enough for his preparations before moving to a bigger club with more ambition and better finance in order to achieve something bigger like winning titles.

Como is not a club that can lift coach career of Fabregas higher and I believe that the young Spanish coach will say goodbye in the summer and choose one of big clubs across Europe as his next destination.

Nico Paz is a young potential player and he is playing for Como in this season but will return to Real Madrid in the summer market. In Real Madrid, Nico Paz will be given better training and playing environment for growing up his career further. This is what happens when a team has a large budget and chooses the right coach. We still remember when they were just promoted to Serie A and immediately did extraordinary things by finishing in the top 10. And this season their strength has increased rapidly, as evidenced by their current position in the standings, even if I remember they had that position since the beginning of the season. If you watched the game or highlights between Como and Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semifinals, you wouldn't doubt the ability of Cesc Fabregas side to qualify for the finals. The host dominated the game in all areas.  They were no clinical upfront which is why they failed to get a single goal. The strikers missed more than three opportunities that I saw. Are you sure you didn't forget another candidate? I think Atalanta still has the potential to fight for fifth place, the points gap between the three teams (Como, Juventus & Atalanta) isn't too far. Tomorrow Como will play their matchday #28 match against Cagliari, then Atalanta & Juventus will face Udinese & Pisa respectively on the March 8th. On this matchday #28, Juventus has big opportunity to displace Como, because they will face Pisa (relegation zone team).

Champions League? Are you too hasty about it? You're right in what you said, in football, nothing is completely decided until the end of the season. Inter really seems very strong at the moment and has a great chance of finishing as champion, but a series of unexpected results can always change the situation. I also think that the fight for the other positions, such as third and fifth place, could still bring some surprises in the final rounds.

Of course starting the second leg with few goals advantage is always relevant, nevertheless they should take the risk in San Siro and push Inter Milan to penalties or surprise them with a late goal. I am not ruling out Comités victory but I find its chances quite low.
