If you watched the full match live, you'd probably see how Atalanta were completely outmatched by the fierce Bundesliga side. A major defeat like this in a Champions League match is rare. Atalanta's defense was absolutely terrible with almost no one playing at their best. Of the players they had, only Pasalic played slightly better, while the rest were quite poor. The second leg won't matter at all as a big win for Bayern Munich would have made it easier for them to advance and Atalanta have already been eliminated.

in the champions league anything can happen, it was certainly strange also that Atalanta beat and overturned the result against Borussia Dortmund which was not at all a given, so i must say that these are now results that can be the order of the day without too many difficulties.

Como has developed to be very strong i don't doubt their capability regardless of who they'll play against, even though they don't win they'll make it very tough for any opponents, it's not something to argue about cause it's what we've seen repeatedly but then it's the Semifinals we're talking about and Inter won't joke with it.
 If Inter defeat Coml I think they'll win the trophy, Atalanta or Lazio won't be a difficult encounter, Como would even give them more difficulties than any other teams they'll meet if they qualify for the finals.

The last meeting between Inter Milan and Como ended in a 0:0 draw, since it's the semi finals this time Inter Milan being the bigger team will try harder to see that they defeat Como so that they will wait to see who wins between Lazio and Atalanta to play the finals with them.
Como should not be underrated because they have proven that they can defeat any team and Inter Milan has to be very careful in the game because the Como players has no respect for big teams they appear ready all the time and getting their a trophy if they defeat Inter Milan to qualify for the finals will be their next target so they have good chances in the game too.

Bodo game is not the reason Inter started playing badly, I have said it before that Serie A league teams can not be trusted because they don’t perform consistently, they lack winning mentality, they can not keep performing well even when the team needs them most, which team in Serie A has not surprised you before, even last season that Napoli won the league title they were bad in some games and got defeated in some games that we didn’t expect them to lose.

I don't think it is too bad for Inter Milan if looking at how they played in both matches but certainly results are very bad and terrible. Bodo/Glimt after eliminating Inter Milan, just showing their quality again by beating Sporting Lisbon 3 - 0 in a first leg of round of 16. This win shows that how Bodo/Glimt go far in Champions League this season is not from only luckiness but they actually have very good quality.

I dont know if Chivu was the right call for the spot of main coach of Inter, but well after more than mid season we can say he is not doing so bad, Inter is in first position and they dont have super reinforcements in the transfer windows so he do what he can with what he have, Champions League elimination was a big blow but dont having Lautaron Martinez was a big problem.

Let's say they faced a very strong team in the final who devastated them, conceding 5 goals made them feel like they were petrified.

Inter Milan are still a great team. We can't call Cristian Chivu a failed manager due to their quick exit from the Champions League. He is still doing great in Serie A and has named his team as the favorite to win the Scudetto. Inter Milan have some problems this season that are preventing them from being too strong. The absence of their main striker Lautaro Martinez against Bodø/Glimt has hurt them. It's not just Inter Milan that failed in the Champions League this season, but all the clubs in the Italian league have failed. The quality of the Italian league is questionable this season.

From the beginning of the game till the end of the game, I knew that Atalanta don't have potential players that will challenge Bayern Munich not to have a goal in that game but what they did to Atalanta, it look as if Atalanta player experience red card from the field, which there was no red card through out the game. Do you know that many predictors won from their prediction yesterday, because they know what Bayern Munich can do to eliminate their opponent, which they did it yesterday to beat their opponent with many goals.

It show that Italian clubs will not going to embrace champion league trophy, because some of the clubs that won their games yesterday are from other tournament but Atalanta made mistakes that lead them to lost 3 points against Bayern Munich yesterday.

Atalanta certainly wasn't a team that could even challenge and keep up with a team as strong as Bayern Munich who are truly incredible, now they just have to try to do well and limit another goal from Bayern Munich, and is very likely that that will happen if they're not careful.

Retegui left Europe so early honestly. I thought he would look for his options after having such a great season in the Serie A last year. Some top teams could have gone after him in the end.

But he chose money instead. I mean if he was much older then I would understand. But he left at the age of 26... This is like the most productive period for a striker you know.

And Gasperini's departure is actually the main reason behind this fall... 

When someone is offered 50 million or 100 million a year by the Saudis, then I understand why people leave, that's the type of money you can't make in Europe and not something you can reach anytime soon. But Retegui had a chance, he is making 20 million a year there, and if he showed up and did great, he could have reached 20 million even in Europe, it is not that impossible, he was leading top  scorer and that worths something and he could have moved to a better team and make something good.

For 20 million, I am not sure if it was worth it. In any case, he preferred money and I always understand that, in todays world money means so much, these players have a lot more expenses than us, between taxes, agents, trainers, chefs and what not, they have to spend to stay there, and I understand why someone would pick money, that makes sense.

COMO is already very good to have made it this far, so even if Inter can beat them in the end, what COMO has achieved is worth a thumbs up because they made Inter Milan unable to beat them in the first leg so Inter needs to win in the second leg to be able to advance to the final. but that is only if Inter Milan manages to win, what if miracle happens and COMO manages to score 1 goal and hold Inter until the end, it will be history for COMO.

That lost really surprised many people in that game, because we know Inter Milan as a club of unbeatable in this Italian league tournament but what happened in that game cause many people to lose their money, because AC Milan used one goal to secured 3 points from inter Milan. I will not pretend to say the truth, inter Milan is not afraid of that lost they experienced in their last game, because they know that it will not make other clubs to have the same points with them till the end of the tournament.

Base on what AC is showcased in this period, I guess they are going to end up in second position, because they are coming with full force to make their fans and other people to believe that they are going to drag last season trophy.

I don't really agree that the championship can no longer be reopened. Now Inter are forced not to lose another match between now and the end of the season, because another defeat would put everything back into question once again.
It remains to be seen whether Milan can continue to win and put even more pressure on Inter.

Roma could give much more to this championship and could do much better except that they fail to try to improve their attack, that's what makes everything about this team underperform and gasperini has understood this and is trying to fix what is a painful attack for the team that is.

Gasperini is a coach who is able to read situations well enough to improve the team he coaches. especially if he is given more freedom in the transfer market at the end of the season. I am sure he will be able to make Roma even better in the coming season. Even in the current situation, with the depth of the squad, we can see that he is able to maximize it well. And at some point, I think if Gasperini is given more quality players for AS Roma in the attacking line, Roma might truly become a more productive team.
By the way, I'm very curious about the Como vs. Roma match on Monday. Because I think two nearly equal forces this season will face off. And to be honest, I'm unsure which team to favor.

I think probably because we are very much aware of how brilliant Atalanta has been in their domestic league and the champions league recently, we underestimated the much Bayern Munich could do to them. A serious problem that Roma hasn't yet addressed is the gap between their defense and attack, their defense has been excellent this season, perhaps their strongest, but their attack is quite weak, as evidenced by their current goal-scoring output, this is why their performances are inconsistent, it's difficult to rely solely on defense, because to get three points you have to score goals. Meanwhile, Como is much more balanced, with a solid defense and a well-organized attack, I think the winner at the end of the season for a top-four finish could go to them.

Roma could give much more to this championship and could do much better except that they fail to try to improve their attack, that's what makes everything about this team underperform and gasperini has understood this and is trying to fix what is a painful attack for the team that is.

You're right, Roma could get much more out of this championship! After all, the management has been investing in excellent players for years to achieve better rankings.
They got off to a great start at the beginning of the season and many believed they could achieve great things, but as time went on, the team's overall performance declined.
Gasperini has a lot of work to do on this issue.

Atalanta should focus on the Seria A and think of qualifying for the top four other than keeping false beliefs on a remondata against Bayern Munich. The brilliance of every club is when they have the opportunity and ability to win games. And not the other way round. Who's talking about Atalanta in the uefea champions League? They're already been humiliated by Bayern Munich and it's a good bye for them because they conceded more goals in the first leg. What more can they play in the second leg?
