Honestly i don't think Atalanta were there by chance, in fact i think its the result of a job well done, but in the Champions League at that level if you get there with luck then afterwards you risk challenging those who went there because they're really strong and you make a fool of yourself, this is what happened, they didn't know how to defend against such a strong team

When you are a "smaller" club (not that Atalanta is too small, but small compared to Bayern) there is a chance you can go as far as you can by facing other smaller teams or teams that are not too big compared to you. But after some point, there is no room left to run, you WILL face a much bigger team, and Atalanta has gone as far as they possibly can with their own situation.

Remember, money doesn't guarantee a win, PSG failed to win for 10 years with endless money, City too, and yet we are talking about money being important anyways, since we are talking about Atalanta, they do not have that much deep pockets which means that they can't expect to do better than this, this is the farthest they can go in the end.

In the Italian championship she wasn't brilliant, not at all, and in the Champions League she made a poor impression by conceding 6 goals, all that was missing was the goalkeeper scoring at a certain point.
So I'd say brilliant isn't quite the right attribute, in my opinion.

No matter how good Atalanta is in the domestic league, they still won't be able to match Bayern Munich, who have consistently been a strong contender in the Champions League for years. It's impossible to beat Bayern Munich, especially since we know Bayern Munich performances in both the domestic league and the Champions League are better and more consistent.
In the second leg, when Bayern Munich plays at home, I think Bayern Munich will embarrass Atalanta even more, perhaps with a 10-0 scoreless victory, lol.

Inter Milan are still a great team. We can't call Cristian Chivu a failed manager due to their quick exit from the Champions League. He is still doing great in Serie A and has named his team as the favorite to win the Scudetto. Inter Milan have some problems this season that are preventing them from being too strong. The absence of their main striker Lautaro Martinez against Bodø/Glimt has hurt them. Bayern Munich this season are beasts they will definitely destroy any opponent that comes their way and Atlanta is certainly not a team that can challenge them. At first I thought Atlanta can at least do better at home but it seems it doesn't even matter where face Bayern Munich they will destroy you even at your home ground.

Atlanta not doing well in the series A and when when you compare that with Bayern Munich you will see that they are winning the Bundesliga so this alone means it will be difficult to challenge Bayern head on.i don't think Atlanta can do much now they have no chance of moving to the next round because going to Munich is the end of the road for them.

This season, he joined and managed Roma very well so far and they are fighting well in both Serie A and Europa League. The competition in Serie A for a fourth position is very tight with Como and Juventus, while Roma will still have to play in Europa League where they just got a small advantage with a draw at Bologna's stadium.

Gasperini with his management quality so far and some attacking players got from the winter transfer, will be able to achieve better things with AS Roma next season. However firstly he will try to finish this season well and in top four for eligibility of joining UEFA Champions League next season.

Como has literally projected itself towards a new era of football and Italian football is the protagonist, even if there isn't much new i must say that this team is finally bringing new wind to Serie A, and is a very important thing because without changes football in Italy will never be able to progress.
