It's truly unfortunate that Napoli's performance has deteriorated just as they were on the verge of retaking the top spot in Serie A. Napoli were quite promising at the start of the season,, but due to several factors, their performance deteriorated and they often suffered from poor results. However,, it seems Napoli's performance has improved, as they have won all four of their last matches.

Napoli did not have too good resources like Inter Milan but how they surprisingly won Scudetto last season is a magic and they must realize how great management Conte did for them in the last season even they lost both Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia. Realizing Napoli's player resource and its quality like this, it won't be surprising to see how they struggled in this season, just only to finish with a position in top four. Conte actually led Napoli to join Scudetto in a first half of season but he could not do anything more than that, and it's not his individual responsibility.

While Conte did something amazing last year, and kudos for him to do this, it's reality that we are not going to see things change that easily, we are not going to see them be great once more. They have done great last year, and this year they are doing fine too, but they are having fine with striker position quite often.

Osimhen situation was obvious for the past two years and what happened, and now same with Lukaku and his injuries as well. This team needs to get a good striker, and someone who can score a lot and keep that person happy for once. Hojlund could be permanent if they can do that, but I think they need someone even better, someone who can score a lot more goals.

A grassroots team focuses on resources, but the true heart of a team is empathy, teamwork, and complicity. All these factors are often replaced by money and only by the skill of the individual player, some of which is true, but that's not all.

I just see it as a managerial problem. Pioli is a really good manager but it didn't work out with Fiorentina. After that Vanoli was a dark horse and he couldn't do good either. They just continued to be dragged down...

I mean they lost some of their good players last summer. But this can't be the main reason behind falling down this much.    I can only say maybe the team in general is managed badly (president, board etc.).
