It's nothing like definitely able to stay in Serie A as before this match with Verona, Fiorentina position is different than theirs now. With clubs in and around the relegation zone, they're too weak and winning a match is very hard for them so 3 points collected at this phase when Serie A will have only 7 more matches for each club after this week, will be very important for Fiorentina. It's a very good advantage for Fiorentina to stay in Serie A but they will still have to try a lot in remaining matches, advantage is good but they must try more and play carefully in next matches.

But now, they can no longer hold on in Serie A. although it’s not yet certain, a 9 point gap is indeed a tough deficit to overcome to escape the relegation zone, especially with so few matches remaining. verona has played 31 matches, leaving only 7 more to go.

I think the same, there is no possibility left for Verona because their performance has not improved, so it is almost certain that they will be relegated.

Am confident that Fiorentina will escape relegation this season but it's left for them to do the needful which is ensuring that they continue to rake in as much points as possible in these remaining fixtures left to play, Fiorentina's campaign this season is probably the worst I have seen in recent years, hopefully they're going to be in the Serie A next season but they have to do something about their current status and performance because things may even get worse than it is if they don't  improve on the team's performance.

So Fiorentina managed to get the crucial 3 points, not like they escaped troubles with it, if they had lost against Verona it would have been really bad for them,  now they need to pray that Atalanta will mobilize themselves and destroy Lecce and they have a cushion for two rounds.
The games that matter are against Lecce and Genoa, secure those 6 points and they are out of the relegation zone for real, lose them, then they will have to pray til the last match.
