Lautaro Martinez had an explosive year, two years ago, after which i don't know what happened he became a shadow of himself and i say this as a football fan and not just an Inter fan, it's a great shame given that he could still give a lot.
Nobody cared to understand the problem, so double shame.

Clearly, Lautaro Martinez has gone through tough times, yet his drop may have been due to too many numbers of games that lack rest and very painful damage to the ankle that took away his speed.
Though he keeps working very hard, and helps his team by pulling defenders out, he may mostly look tired by extra defensive efforts and is easily upset by goal misses.
Although he has now become more of leader, it is sad to see such good player lose his scoring skill due to lack of body or mental rest that he is meant to be playing at his best.

Milan are a very good team and their chances of qualifying for the Champions League this year are high. I think there are very strong teams in Italy and every team needs to play their best to deserve a Champions League spot. Inter are already a very strong contender for the championship and will be in the Champions League next year. I think the same for Milan. There will be great competition between the remaining two Champions League spots. Neither Napoli's nor Como's place is secure.

I believe that by now there is mathematics to say that Milan has qualified for next season's Champions League. Of course i is a Milan fan so what i say is valid up to a certain point, but i is sure that mathematics also says so. Has anyone done the math?

The current situation has indeed spurred these teams to continue their push for victory, and I'm confident these three teams will give their all in every match to secure victory. It's worth waiting to see which team can maintain their consistency.

Milan with 72 points and 7 points clear off at the top of the table is most likely to win the title this season than any other team in the Serie A. Como may likely loose the 4th position to Juventus because their next fixture is really very tough, Inter is not a team that will give them the chance to have a free win just like that and it happen that they will be at home but then it still does not look like enough advantage. Juventus if at their best and not one of their inconsistent performance, they will be able to beat Atlanta to get three points to stay ahead of Como.

Milan can only lose their ticket to the Champions League if both competitors overtake them, which is unrealistic. To compare the teams' chances, you can simply look at their chances of winning the title: for Milan it's 1 in 28, and for Como and Juventus it's 1 in 401   I think it is obvious that Milan is in a completely different position than its competitors.

Maybe he felt that Milan could lose more points which is realistic but I doubt it would happen cause after losing the competition to Inter the best they can do is,to qualify for the Champions League not just that but qualifying in a good spot instead of struggling with other teams to finish in fourth position.

 The competition for the fourth position would be between Como and Juventus, I expect Como to succeed cause they're a more serious and consistent team but Juventus is also trying their best and hoping that Como would drop for them to overtake, it's really sone interesting match days ahead, the battle for the title is almost over cause Inter is strongly dominating, now is the battle for top four.

As long as they maintain their victory in the league so that their points continue to grow it will be safe because they are already in position 3 with points that are not much different from their competitors both Napoli and below that is Como with a difference of 5 points, this is not a big difference considering that if they lose just two matches they will definitely be eliminated from the standings, and don't forget that Juventus are also chasing in position 5 who are trying to shift the qualification position to the champions league next season, Juventus have 57 points while Milan 63, the difference is only 6 and it is very possible to catch up if the situation is like this, Milan should be even more focused on maintaining their position.

AC Milan will have many things to do in the summer during and after World Cup 2026 for changes in their player resource in order to improve their squad for playing in both Serie A and Champions League next season. They can not rely on a very old play maker like Modric in a next season, and it's very risky if they actually do that.

Como are amazing with Fabregas management but it's hard for me to believe that they will play well in Champions League if they are eligible to join it after this Serie A season ends. In Champions League, experience is very important and Como players mostly don't have any experience there, that will be their big challenge if they somehow manage to finish in top four this season against Juventus and AS Roma.

Milan will certainly have many commitments but let's say that having to deal with several Italian players i would say they can rest assured, but Milan will always have many foreign players who will play outside, the Champions League would be ideal for them, because they would get money that they don't have now with the possibility of making other new signings.

The emphatic victory over Roma proved Inter had rebounded after dropping points in three previous matches. However, Inter must learn from last year's experience and remain vigilant in their remaining seven matches. Last season, Inter had a great chance to win the title but their inconsistency at the end of the season allowed Napoli to claim the title. So, Inter fate is in their own hands hoping to maintain consistency by winning the remaining matches.

Milan is actually focused solely on Serie A this season because they are not playing in European competition, but they have been unable to capitalize on that advantage to maintain consistency. All three teams have equal chances to occupy the fourth place in the table. The performance of almost every team in Serie A is very irregular. So it is very difficult to predict which team will be able to maintain their performance and occupy the fourth place in the table.

Considering the performance of the last 5 matches, Roma has fallen behind a lot. Out of the 5 matches, they have won only one match and lost in all three matches. It's hard not to admire Napoli's winning streak lately! All of them are wins by only a 1-goal gap though but it is what it is...

This streak is enough to leave Milan behind at least. They lost to Lazio and Napoli meanwhile. This helped Inter keep the gap safe with them too.

Inter should be winning that championship easily and I expect Napoli to finish behind them. Other teams really need some changes to fight a this strong Inter honestly.

Suddenly everybody is now waking up to smell the coffee and this is actually beginning to affect the performance of all the teams that are vying for European competitions next season therefore the likes of Como must be very careful and must show character in these few last games to secure that place permanently else they risk forfeiting to teams like Juventus who are keen on closing in on them during these moments when Como seems to be scrambling.

Inter currently has a seven-point lead over Napoli,, and I believe this advantage makes Inter very likely to win Serie A this season. Moreover,, as we know, Inter's focus is solely on Serie A matches. This will undoubtedly strengthen their dominance in the league, making them very difficult for any team to defeat. Napoli,, the second-strongest team in Serie A, is currently in no position to overtake Inter.

They are also not in a truly ideal state,, as they are still unsure about their striker options. Therefore, Inter seems to have no significant competitors this season, and can be said to be safe at the moment. Because there are no serious threats from rival teams. Milan's current performance is also not very good. Therefore,, I think Inter will likely continue to dominate Serie A until the end of the season.

While that is true, this season the gap is wider and to be fair last season Inter was leading for a while but Napoli was leading for a while too, and the whole league went very close between them, they changed first place many times before Napoli finally won it. Inter this year has been leader for many weeks now, months even, and they do not look like they are going to end up losing in the last few games, that doesn't look like a big possibility.

For something like that to happen, not only we would need Inter to end up losing, like a lot, but also we would need Milan or Napoli to end up getting wins, probably never lose a single point, not even a draw, just fully win every game. We are not going to see both of these happen at the same time.

AC Milan must be able to qualify for the Champions League, it's a necessary thing and their reputation is worth it, it's very important for their future growth, necessary to understand if they can give even more or if this is the best they can do, they certainly could do a little more.

It wouldn't come to that in my opinion. Milan are already 5 points ahead of Como and it is 6 points with Juventus who are just out of top 4. Milan just need to mess up big time for that! 

But the thing is that Napoli are much more likely to finish at the 2nd position. At least according to their recent form... If De Bruyne gets better soon they can be a bigger candidate for that.

I agree, that doesn't look like we are going to see the situation change and we are not going to really matter that much on the long run neither. I would guess that Milan would not have that type of trouble, third place is already good enough for them, but they could maybe finish second place too if they get lucky a few games and Napoli loses.

Fourth place is not a possibility for Milan right now. Fourth place is not even sure for Como neither, Juventus is right there and on a single game everything could change.
