Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

Milan have a great history in the Champions League history. They have 7 titles and they are right behind Real Madrid in the most winners table.

Seeing them being this desperate nowadays makes me really sad for them.    Juventus were also a regular in that tournament in the past.

Now they can't even qualify for it directly. Both teams have been managed really poorly by their owners.

The both clubs are now with two different qualified managers. If all goes well, AC Milan and Juventus will be back in the Champions League competition next season.

I won't tag them to be desperate, but it seem like the Italian league dropped standards and it has affected them all.

I don't know what will happen, but we should be here to see them all. I'm officially a Milan though. I will support Ruben Amorim until he wins AC Milan the next Champions league competition.

With Amorim, Milan will dominate Serie A and win the title. It is very unlikely that Milan will even qualify for the champions league.

They have their own plans for the management of the squad in the next season and although in this case I feel a bit risky but Milan brave enough to bring Ramos from PSG it becomes a way they get more attention from other clubs in the next season.  Now we just have to wait how Amorim finish this until the end because it becomes a gamble for the future not only for Amorim but also for Milan because this season they are brave enough to spend a little more money than usual.

I am curious about the scheme that Amorim will do whether to stay with the same scheme as his character by prioritizing the midfield or will change in Serie A because even though Milan also has a philosophy and style of play that suits Amorim but should be with the spending they did at the beginning they certainly have to do a little more special.

I believe that Nico Paz did all this in concert with his father, who certainly cares about him and knows what is best for him.
Anyway, as they say in Argentina, Nico Paz doesn't exist at the moment, he still has to improve if he wants to get into the squad of the strongest Argentines, and therefore into the national team.

If things are that way, then I won't say anything. Every parent wants the best for their children, and if he has that kind of trust with his dad, then it's best to do what his dad says. Nothing else matters but what they want. The best thing is that if Nico does well and shines, I'd be happy. Now there are many opportunities for star players, like Messi and CR7; it's time for more players to shine.

I don't consider Ramos as a good striker even people feel like he is a good one. A hat-trick for Portugal in World Cup 2022, a goal in World Cup 2026, are those goals enough to make a good striker, I really don't think so.

If he is a good striker, his career would take off in Paris with PSG as in a club with very good midfield and attacking system, strikers like Ramos can be benefited a lot. The fact in Paris and PSG is, Ramos has never gotten a solid position there and his performances for PSG were not good enough, so that he had to leave the club and find opportunities in other clubs.

Juventus needs to start to change his image, a few years ago facing Juventus was an automatic lose for you and a win for them, they were like the Bayern Munich of Italy and they also were doing super seasons in the champions league reaching the final for example, but right now they are complete garbage, they barely reach some european spots and nobody fears them anymore.

Football goes in cycles. Especially in a league like Serie A where, historically, we always saw some real fights to win the title. I'm a Juventus supporter but I prefer the current situation instead of what is going on in Germany with Bayern Munich: I don't even know what is the point of following a league you already know in August how it's going to end.

I get your point but sometimes a team does not have to look unbeatable to stay at top. It can make big difference during long season with regular good play, experience and good game management. Inter do not always win every game but they have been good at getting points when it is needed. They may be beaten in game or two by other Serie A clubs but keeping this form all through season will be challenge. I do not believe it is just a question of squad quality. It is also steadiness and having clear system. Other teams could be steady and that can give Inter much of trouble in title fight.

Because, generally speaking, teams in Italy aren't as high-quality as they used to be. At one time, Juventus dominated Italy single-handedly. At another time, we could say the same for Milan. Nowadays, there's no such team, and Inter, with its not-so-high-quality squad, can win the Italian league title. However, they can get eliminated by an average team in the Champions League. There's clearly something strange going on here. In the past, you would expect a team from Italy, the champion team, to at least reach the Champions League semi-finals.

last year Inter won also due to the demerit of the other teams, it must be said that they put in little effort and that the other teams lost many matches which in reality were very easy, but this must be a lesson for the next few years, to increase the level of the Serie A championship.

But the problems along the way apply to everyone; the skill is knowing how to address them positively and constructively.
I wouldn't already take what might happen for granted, we all know by now that in football everything can change at any moment, even when it seems impossible, right?
Of course, it's normal to think negatively considering the results achieved so far, but this doesn't imply that any team, including Milan, wants to improve.
Obviously all teams want this, you need one basic thing, commitment and will!

I think the battle for a Champions League place will be even tougher for them this season for several reasons that have already been discussed here. I'm also hoping to see a much stronger Milan and Juventus, which could become another obstacle to Como having an even more successful campaign. I believe Amorim could achieve much better results with Milan than Allegri did.

what do you mean biggest clubs that have better financial resource? i read some articles that revealed the owner of Como is one of the richest person in Asia. look how Como buying Nico Paz from Madrid. thats not a cheap price. i'm supprised. next season Como will play in Champions League and they still new a lot of top player if they wanna compete in this competition.

I agree with you, with what Amorim did at Manchester United no one will believe him but we should also know that Manchester United is different from AC Milan? AC Milan is not a team that want to see a good result immediately, what i mean is that AC Milan is not a team like Manchester United that the pressure is too much to handle, Ac Milan want a manager that can make them qualify for the Champions League even if they did not win any trophy next season.

Ruben Amorim may failed at Manchester United but i don’t think he will fail in Ac Milan because he would have learnt from his mistakes at Manchester United, every manager always learn from their mistakes and if Amorim want to bounce back and become the Amorim we all know from sporting cp he need to do better next season and don’t allow anyone to interrupt his plan, another reason why i believe he can succeed is because Serie A teams play the same method as Amorim want to play at Manchester United.

AC Milan is a very experienced Italian team but we can see that this team is currently becoming relatively weak, however it is true that this Milan team has the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League next season, so it seems that maybe they will be able to bring out their best in the upcoming season based on their past history. To my knowledge, this Italian league team has won the UEFA Champions League a total of seven times, which is the second most. Therefore it is acknowledged that this team has experience but if they are able to perform consistently then perhaps they will be able to compete more consistently in European competitions in the upcoming season.

It's a shame not to see AC Milan in this European championship. In fact, in the top European championship this season will be a year of many changes for these teams who will be increasingly focused on doing better. The Italian championship will be much more competitive and full of strong teams.
