The corruption scandal that damaged the image of Serie A and added to the failure of the Italian national team in the World Cup is getting worse, not only AC Milan but Juventus also really bankrolled their squad for next season, hoping that next season the Italian clubs can compete in the Champions League because the teams from Serie A were very bad last season. I'm sorry, what corruption scandal are you talking about? Because you're not talking about Calciopoli back in 2006, are you? I think he’s referring to the case of Rocchi, the former referee appointing officer. Incidentally, rumours have been circulating since yesterday that the case has been dropped. Now, this whole fuss certainly won’t end here. But to call it a scandal seems a bit of an overreaction to me. To keep bringing up the Calciopoli example again seems like an exaggeration to me, given that it happened 20 years ago now.

Juventus is a chaotic club in Serie A. They have too many on- and off-the-field issues, which always keep them in the media. Match-fixing and book issues are also done. This makes this great club a shame in soccer history.
In the last few years, they have been consistently falling down; this is now a big problem. Despite having a few good players, results are not coming because mostly players are not good for this club and having good results, but their situation is also not good, which helps them for having good players. Now, how this could be going to set is a big question because funds are essential for having success. For the coming season, a few clubs are already preparing and bringing good players, but this is not happening for all; a few are just watching.
Juventus is a club with one of the most important football histories both in Italy and in the world, it is not right to discredit it in this way, it has been years that it has not found a way out of this stalemate but i believe that it depends a lot on having put incompetent people in the wrong roles, and this is true both on and off the pitch.

I honestly think that como doesn't have money problems, you know i feel a little sympathy for como because he did everything correctly. Even when they laughed about their goal of reaching the Champions League within three years, many were skeptical and yet they achieved it.
He certainly doesn't have money problems, but he still has a limited budget. In any case, with what they had available and against all expectations, did they get to this point, skeptical about the Champions League? Meanwhile compared to the teams we see they are usually in the Champions. If they can then get something skeptical i could say they won't make their way, but realistically speaking everything could happen, football is always unpredictable we know that by now.

Yeah, football is business, but for running this business, club owners need to have funds like Arab owners because they have enough to spend here and win trophies. A few others are also doing a good job, but this is not happening with all, like Juventus and a few other top Italian soccer clubs that are letting themselves down.
Here, they need changes with good funds, but it is looking not easy for them in the near future. This could be a big problem for them in European competitions if they want to have better results. They need to have their requirements filled with good players. Overall, Italian soccer is under trauma due to not having a spot in the World Cup for a few times.
I believe that football, THE PEOPLE'S SPORT, should not be primarily a business model, so its sad to see players leaving a club just to chase money. You should do it first and foremost for passion and then for your own personal gain. So i wouldn't say that its Italian clubs that aren't keeping up, but all clubs in general that need to change when it comes to the compensation behind this sport.

Hmmm... Starting? Serie A is long behind La Liga, and there's nothing to discuss. There's been nothing to compare it to for the last 20 years. Even if Mourinho came and made Inter the Champions League champions (that was 15 years ago, by the way, haha), even then La Liga had the biggest stars (Ronaldo, Spain's greatest generation) and the biggest banners: Real Madrid vs. Barcelona and Ronaldo vs. Messi. Serie A has been gradually losing its glory since the 1990s. And it seems this process is irreversible - I remember last season (that excruciating football, a ton of goalless draws) and I don't know who wants to watch it.
Serie A has become the most boring championship of the top 5 leagues, championships like La Liga or Bundesliga even if they have gradually begun to evolve, with a more competitive game and not purely defensive as can be seen in Serie A, also giving much more space to national talents, thus making the national team itself grow, a problem that has been ignored for years now in Italy and which is seen during international competitions.

It did eat a chunk of their budget to keep him, but they did a good job and I think it was clear that they did as well as hoped for. Is there a chance they could win the league on the first year they are on the UCL as well?
I do not think so, I have guesses that they will have their first ever bad season, be out of top 24 at UCL and be out of top 4 at Serie A at the same time, and that will eb very bad for them emotionally. But they should feel ok because the yare still improving.
I think they have already shown a lot this year, at a certain point in the championship they were the team to beat, the coach found a way to make them play with desire, determination and the will to win of a great team, with the right transfer market and the right reinforcements, i think they can do well both in Serie A and in the UCL.

I'm not surprised if Como achieves less than satisfactory results in the Champions League because this is their first experience, even qualifying for the round of 16 is already the best achievement, there is no need to think about advancing further because we know the competition in the UCL is not easy. As for the domestic league, Como may have difficulty returning to the top 4 because they have a fairly busy schedule, especially having to focus on the UCL as well, so I think Como must be able to divide their focus so that in the domestic league they do not rank low. I think it will be difficult for Como to divide their focus between the two leagues they’ll be competing in. They might be able to pull off a bit of an upset in the Champions League given that their strong confidence. But I personally doubt that Como will be able to advance much further in the subsequent stages of the Champions League because they have a very demanding schedule. And I think they should focus on just one league to avoid a drop in performance. Otherwise they might run into trouble if they push themselves too hard to compete in both leagues. On the other hand Como might choose to focus more on Serie A to avoid being easily eliminated and even falling into the relegation zone. And they might still be able to hone their skills or even gain experience to compete in European competitions. But if they get relegated it will be difficult for them to achieve any of those goals.

If PSG managed to win the Champions League twice in a row, despite the fact that, as you said, there's almost no competition in Ligue 1, then that doesn't stop a good team from growing, developing, and winning. It might even be the opposite: when a team doesn't feel the pressure of the domestic league, it can focus more on the Champions League. And by the way, PSG did have some pressure from Lens this season, although it's hard to call it competition. Arsenal, on the other hand, had to work much harder because they were pursued by City almost until the last matchday, and I think that's why it was harder for them to play in the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain had already won the league a few days later, despite a Lens that showed it could be dangerous and in any case a couple of points above this Paris Saint-Germain, they had more time to prepare to face the Champions League, while there Arsenal played an entire championship with the breath on their neck and with the weight of public opinion.

Obviously, they have shown a lot of good performance in Serie A and in the Champions League and they have strengthened themselves in every match but Lens gave them a very strong fight but SG's dominance is always at the top so Lens lost a few points. The last match in the Champions League was quite interesting and its result was somewhat clear because Arsenal did not have the strength to stop PSG from winning the Champions League. On the contrary, PSG scored a lot of goals and win the match and this time too we will see a similar performance and we can see PSG's pressure in both leagues and if that happens the other teams will be quite weak. We can see anything but PSG will play quite strongly in Serie A because they always have a strong dominance there. So it depends on the performance of the other teams and the hard work they put in on them how they play.

I do not know why you say that. But Serie A seems to me to be the most competitive league after the Premier league. In La liga we only see the title fight between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Apart from that, no other team participates in the title fight much. In the Bundesliga, Munich's dominance is seen. At the same time, PSG dominates Ligue 1. But in serie A, you won't find a specific team that dominates every season. It's just that the squads in serie A are a little less strong. They don't have many star players either. Even then, the teams here are almost equally strong. So it's impossible to predict for sure which teams will be in the top 4 of the table.

With the Serie A 2026-2027 season approaching, Serie A teams are active in the transfer market, both selling and buying players. Juventus continues negotiations with PSG for Randal Kolo Muani. Lois Openda will leave Juventus in the coming weeks.. I don't know if the next season will be good for Juventus or not. But honestly, I hope the club's management can significantly improve its financial management and attract sponsorships; only then will they be able to sign many good players and return to the top. Bologna will sign Nigerian player Rahim Alhassane, who plays for Real Oviedo. Alhassane is 24 years old. He is very young and plays as a defender. From what I've read, it's guaranteed that he will move to Bologna.

there is a lack of investments, there is a lack of money many Serie A teams are in serious financial trouble due to the COVID break, I remember very well that they wanted to create the super league to compete with the Champions League and UEFA blasted them heavily.. if you remember their goal was to get more money

I still think they could have found a more reliable name than him for the position though. He is a decent striker but will he be productive enough? I wouldn't like to see Juventus dealing with another potential Vlahovic case.

Alejandro Garnacho opened doors to AS Roma move last week as club to club talks continue with intermediaries involved. Roma insist on loan deal with mandatory buy clause, deal on; Chelsea want permanent/guaranteed buy clause.
Italian League club AS Roma played brilliantly last season, Which led us to notice that they were in the top five. In fact this team has qualified to play in the upcoming UEFA Champions League season and I think they are trying to organize themselves better in the Serie A League. AS Roma are already looking to buy a player from Chelsea because we're hearing rumors that Garnacho might join the team. The former United player only had one season at the PL club and did not perform well there but it seems that the player has the talent that has attracted the Italian club. well if it were tru it would be truly incredible Alejandro Garnacho is an excellent player and i would see him really well at Roma, this means that Roma can aim to do a little better than what they currently do, i like that this player is linked to Roma, he can give a lot to improve the team.

You can only experience such achievement from experience players Como has, because many people never dream that Como will qualify to start playing champion league and other tournament next season. I know they will dominant well in the champion league tournament but to lift the trophy, I don't think those strong clubs like Manchester city, Manchester united, Arsenal, PSG, Real Madrid and Liverpool will not going to allow Como to take any advantage to reach semi final or final in the champion league, because they have more experience players than Como. I know that Como coach have a lot role to play in this season, because they have joined different tournament that will stress their players next season, and the results they will achieve will make people to believe in them in the nearest future.

This is a bit unlikely because Chelsea wants to sell Alejandro Garnacho, but Roma doesn't have the funds to sign him. So, I don't think this will happen unless a deal is mutually beneficial for Chelsea. And while I don't deny that Alejandro Garnacho is a player with excellent individual qualities, he could likely contribute significantly to Roma's attack, especially since playing in Serie A would be a bit easier for a striker with Alejandro Garnacho's characteristics. However, I have some doubts about this transfer.

Juventus is a club with one of the most important football histories both in Italy and in the world, it is not right to discredit it in this way, it has been years that it has not found a way out of this stalemate but i believe that it depends a lot on having put incompetent people in the wrong roles, and this is true both on and off the pitch. Of course, when a club fails to make judicious use of the resources they have, they deserve discredit and that is the fault of the management of Juventus because i don't understand why a club that once won the Serie A for about 9 consecutive seasons is now finding it difficult to have the base back. Clubs like Bayern Munich who have been dominant in the Bundesliga still discovered themselves again after losing the title for one season to Bayern Leverkusen but look at Juventus, it's been 6 seasons already and they have not been able to win the Serie A title again. Maybe what Juventus needs is a change of management just as AC Milan did, then things might turn out differently for them if they make the right decisions.

After how Cristian Romero behaves yesterday in the semifinal and also the words he use in the post game with some interviewers i think the deal with Inter is done and he is gonna be a new player of the neroazzuri, i have not doubts about it, and if you ask me is a majestic purchase for Inter, they need a defender like him and in SerieA he can play even better than in Premier League and he already know this league since he played for Genoa before.

There are too many internal problems in my opinion when Juventus is in the hands of this person (John Elkann), problems after problems always arise when John Elkann becomes the main owner and appoints people who I think are incompetent to manage Juventus, even though this season Juventus and John Elkann's statement saw Juventus' slump in several seasons and not qualifying for the Champions League was a heavy blow for Juventus and the fans, John Elkann with Giorgio Chiellini agreed to give full authority to Luciano Spalletti in selecting players who will be brought in next season and players who will be sold, of course this is a serious step taken by Juventus to overhaul the Juventus squad for next season.
