Milan managed to salvage a draw—securing a single point—in a match where they had fallen behind, even trailing by two goals at one stage. They achieved this comeback thanks to two quick-fire goals scored by Moreira in the second half. Moreira is truly a great signing, and I am certain we will be hearing a lot more about him this season. It is also interesting that Milan took so long to really get going had they played the way they did later in the match right from the start, they almost certainly would have won.

Lazio started the match well and played an excellent first half, going into the break with a 2–0 lead. I thought Milan wouldn't be able to salvage the game given how things were going, but the second half was a completely different story. I don't know why, but Lazio stopped playing altogether, they just defended and failed to control the ball at all. Their strategy was apparently to sit back and hold onto the lead, but that kind of tactic rarely works well in football. As a result, Milan managed to salvage the match and secure a 2–2 draw. I think this is good for Inter, because I’m almost certain they’ll beat Udinese at home and move into first place.

Milan's two goals were scored by Diego Moreira, notably he played in the second half rather than starting the match. If Ruben Amorim had included Diego Moreira in the starting lineup, the result might have been different, let's say 0 - 2 or 1 - 3. He showed his quality in this match, in the upcoming match, it is quite possible that Amorim will make Moreira the first choice to play against Benfica in the Europa League.

Please I want to ask a very important question in this thread I don’t know if it’s permitted here, because this is a thread where Italian Football is discussed, and I believe there are Italians here who knows more about Italian Football and the Seria A.
Does anyone believe what Roberto De Zerbi the Coach of Tottenham Hotspurs said about the Italian Seria A is true, He literally said that in Italy for example, I’d be the best Coach, Two games, Two Clean sheets.
Because I don’t really know, when keeping Clean Sheets have been a very huge achievement for a team Coach, by the way he isn’t a goalkeeper, and the team is struggling to score goals, Tottenham haven’t scored a goal in the Premier League after Four games played.

Inter and Roma have one game in hand over Lazio, who drew with Milan. I'm interested to see who will continue their winning streak. Roma have some consistency again, they are unbeaten and also unbeaten in the UCL. Inter, on the other hand, suffered a defeat against Real Madrid, and i hope that won't affect their confidence. As for Napoli, they play Bologna today and desperately need a win. In my opinion, Allegri's position is also starting to look shaky if Napoli suffer a defeat. What do you guys think?

Roma is heading to Turin for an away match; they are in excellent form, having scored ten goals in three games. Dybala and Malen, in particular, are playing very well. They also avoided defeat in their Champions League opener, securing a draw at a tough away venue. I believe they will win this away game against Torino. Similarly, Inter will win their match without any upsets and continue their winning run. For now, we are seeing a battle between Roma and Inter in the Italian Serie A, I do not expect either of them to drop points tomorrow.

Their dominance paid off and gave them the first half lead however in the second half Milan strategized and came up with a working tactics which gave Moreira his classic finishes. Beside the equalizing goal I also appreciate Rabiot for his outstanding assist knowing too well when to release the ball to Diego Moreira which secured their 1 point despite the tension of almost losing to Lazio.

The 22 year old Belgian player had a magnificent second half with Milan. He scored both goals with long-range shots, leaving the Lazio defense helpless on both occasions. Lazio had strongly believed victory was theirs after the first half, but Milan transformed into a completely different team in the second. I consider this match highly valuable for Milan, as it served as a great example of how even when falling behind you can salvage a draw if you refuse to give up. The tactical moves made during the game were spot-on Milan managed to rescue at least a draw from a difficult situation.

Milan has a player over the age of 41 (Modric) around whom someone decided to build the team's game, but he simply can no longer keep up with players who are half his age and possess far more strength and energy. This is especially evident in the tactics that are set in the fast game, and such a player needs to cover a lot of ground, which means a lot of running. Milan played better in the second half without Modrić, and it paid off in the end.

We can see that his playing days are gradually coming to an end. Perhaps the time has come for Luka Modrić to retire. Of course, he will likely continue playing for Milan through the end of this season, though the coach might prefer to use him in the second half of matches. I, too, haven't seen the kind of pace from him right now that would allow him to last the full 90 minutes. Maybe it is simply because he isn't fully match fit yet I don't know.

Although I was a bit disappointed with the draw in that match, since I was hoping for a win for AC Milan. well, getting one point is actually still pretty good compared to losing all the points. And I think AC Milan only seems confident when playing against average teams, but when facing evenly matched opponents like Juventus and Lazio, the team sometimes seems too cautious. but the most important thing is that AC Milan hasn’t lost any of the four matches they’ve played so far. As for the start of this season, I think Cagliari is the team that has surprised me the most. last season, they consistently struggled against lower-ranked teams and were sometimes on the verge of relegation. But now their performance has improved significantly. I was even surprised that Atalanta suffered a loss at home.

Zerbi is such a liar. He's ever managed Sassuolo, and he recorded only 1.32 PPM from 120 matches in total as published by transfermrkt. Sassuolo often finished at the mid - bottom table when he's still their coach. All what Zerbi said about to won the game easily in serie a is bullshit. He's trying to hide his incompetence by taking other league to blame with. No doubt he's doing it because several bad results achieved by him recently.

During his prime, Modric was arguably the best midfielder in his position but he's not at his best again. Ruben Amorim should know how to play quality football without him, maybe bring him on during the last 20 minutes of the game. A 2:2 draw at Lazio might not totally be a bad result but I think AC Milan could've done better.

Milan has not really enjoyed their recent performance. It’s been a while since Milan did anything outstanding and I think it is also as a result of the squad the team has had , they have not been able to sign any world class players in my believe is also the reason why they are facing the toughest competition of their career even with teams they would have ordinarily beaten. Meanwhile I’ve also seen improvement with the match they’ve played yesterday at least they are able to maintain a draw and secure a point even though such cannot be referred to as an achievement but an improvement from what they were the last time.

Maybe Amorim is still experimenting with strategies and the right lineup for Milan at the moment. But after this result next week it should be more settled—Moreira and Pulisic should play, and the midfield should be either Rabiot, Modric or Musah. In that match, Milan in the first half lost in every aspect to Lazio. They couldn’t attack, their defense wasn’t very solid, and as a result, they were down 2-0 at halftime. Luckily, Amorim realized this and brought in three players at halftime Musah, Moreira, and Pulisic. The three changes made by Amorim turned out to work well Musah organized the midfield, brought balance, Pulisic provided an assist and Moreira scored a brace. The 2-2 score means that both Milan and Lazio are still unbeaten in their first four Serie A matches.

AC Milan performed very well because I was thinking they will lose the game and Lazio did well in the first half. Luka Modric is greatly diminishing in performance and Ruben Amorim was smart to detect his weakness and substituted him in 45 minutes during which he couldn't make any much impact and no shots. I never expected Milan to get a better result than what they had and they also went in to dominate the second half. Roma and Inter Milan is likely going to continue their winning streak as they will be playing less challenging side Torino and Udinese. I will expect that they go through the game 4 without losing points. So the table will look like, Roma-Inter Milan -Lazio after four games.

AC Milan are still in great form as you will notice that they have not lost a single match but have drawn two matches in a row. In fact the team's performance against Lazio yesterday looked like they might be beat but Moreira managed to produce a magical performance as the player scored in the 65th and 67th minutes to bring AC Milan level. Regardless of the fact that he is 41 years old, we were amazed by his performance against Lazio yesterday; he played impeccably, earning a rating of six in the match. You are right—Modrić delivered outstanding performances for Real Madrid during his prime, having been named the UEFA Champions League's best midfielder twice and winning the Ballon d'Or.

This thread is meant for football conversations and discussions about the Italian Seria A alone. Despite Zerbi being Italian and mentioning the Italian Seria A, the question should be for the Premier League Competition thread and not here. Well, he say that to defend himself since nobody will do that for him. Managers will say anything to journalists and pundits to but time from the press and their management. But then, I understand him, he has a fine structure and model, they just need to start scoring goals and winning games. That said, I will love to see the Italian sides go far in the Champions League competition this season, they haven't done well ever since Inter Milan made it to the finals. Inter Milan although has been the only consistent side so far. Maybe Como Utd and Roma may leave us in awe.

Amorim is starting to make his weight felt at Milan, last year a similar match would have had a different result. In the second half they played a completely different game, Lazio stopped playing, I didn't expect a second half that would have earned the equalizer either, in two minutes Diego Moreira made Milan recover the game. These twists and turns make the A series spicy, finally you see something, after last year highly boring.

Ruben Amorim is a good coach; Manchester United spoiled his career. They did not sign players for him; he was using the available players in a very competitive Premier League. He got sacked after failing to even get five wins in a row for Manchester United, but if we remember how good he was at Sporting, you will agree that he is a good manager, and he can get back to his feet at AC Milan since it is not competitive like the Premier League. He has started making some changes in the team, he can do well to give them another Champions League game next season, and he will do well in the Europa League competition this season.
