I'm trying to understand what's happening to Napoli. A team that was leading for a long time in the game suddenly decided it's time to give up their lead and settle for a draw instead? It's not a surprise that Napoli aren't in top four and if they can't excel in their domestic league, is it in the champions League they will do better?

In my opinion, their squad is very weak; manager Massimiliano Allegri’s style prioritizes defense, resulting in a weak attack. When you add players to the mix who struggle to score goals consistently, the result is failure. Napoli has won only two of their last five matches and sits in ninth place with just seven points; at this rate, even qualifying for the Champions League might be an impossible mission.


Roma 2 – 2 Inter

It has been a very good season for Roma; I confess that before the season started, I didn't expect much from them, so I am very surprised by the results they have achieved so far. They have played 5 matches with 1 draw and 0 losses and are at the top of the table. They managed to draw against Inter, even though they were leading 2 – 0 at one point before Inter scored two goals to level the match. That was a great achievement for Roma.

Juventus 2 - 0 Atalanta

It looks like this will be a very troubled season for Atalanta fans; with this result, the team has suffered three consecutive defeats and failed to score even a single goal in this match. Meanwhile, Juventus happily returned to winning ways after two games without a victory. This win puts Juventus in seventh place; there is still plenty of time to catch the top teams, but they need to win consistently.

Milan 3 - 0 Lecce

Milan's opponent was very weak; honestly, I would have been shocked if Milan had lost this match. I know Milan was coming off two consecutive winless games, so winning this one was practically a must, and fortunately, they succeeded scoring three goals and conceding none. Lecce is at least doing better than Bologna, because even with this loss, they remain above the relegation zone.

Last season, Bologna finished in 9th place with 62 points, ending on a five-game winless streak. That was already a bad sign of what might lie ahead if the club's management didn't sign quality players; unfortunately, that didn't happen, and this season they are struggling to escape the relegation zone. Attacker Nicolò Cambiaghi has played 5 matches with 0 goals and 0 assists. Roberto Piccoli has played 5 matches, recording 1 goal and 0 assists. Federico Bernardeschi has played 5 matches, with 1 goal and 0 assists. With such underperforming forwards, it will be very difficult for them to avoid staying in the relegation zone for a long stretch of the season.

Milan 3 - 0 Lecce

To everyone his own perspective of the game! But then, it was never about the strength. He has definitely improved but he hasn't improved enough, at least that's my perception watching him play.

I find Napoli’s situation rather intriguing, and I haven’t quite grasped what they’re doing. With their squad management and on-pitch tactics, Napoli won’t be able to climb out of mid-table this season. Allegri wants to play positive football with the limited squad at his disposal, but the group of players he has isn’t suited to it. De Laurentiis’s ambition to be competitive without making any signings appears to have taken a knock in the opening weeks. This season, Serie A has got off to a much better start than the Premier League. There hasn’t been a single 0–0 draw so far. But Serie A teams aren’t what they used to be. Even Inter stand no chance against the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona or Bayern IMO.

Maybe you overrated Napoli in that game, but I don't see anything encouraging they performed, TBH. That match was balanced enough for both teams, and the fact that Napoli scored one in the first half and Fiorentina also scored one in the second half makes it even more balanced, as Napoli wasn't so strong team for Fiorentina, even as the club (Fiorentina) was impressive in their defense shortly after the 23rd first goal of Napoli, making all the efforts of Napali futile. I believe if the match is to be played again, such a similar performance would be seen.

I am certainly truly fascinated by this team that wants to impose itself and is openly demonstrating that it knows how to do it and is able to assert itself even against very strong teams, such as Inter Milan.

I’m not surprised seeing Roma doing well so far this season, i started seeing them regaining their confidence and form last season where they finished third in the table and securing a champions league place after a very long time out of the champions league. This season they have continued with the same form. They were able to get hold of their important players without losing them to other top teams abroad during the last summer transfer window and that act is really helping them a lot, Manu kone who has been one of their best players was almost leaving for Chelsea but the deal collapsed in the last minutes. If they should continue in this direction we might just be seeing the old As Roma coming back to challenging for the title.

Maybe you overrated Napoli in that game, but I don't see anything encouraging they performed, TBH. Goalkeepers David De Gea and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic were the toast of the game. Both keepers were the reason why both teams shared the spoils. The former Manchester United keeper made four clear saves which denied David Neres and Costantino Favasuli the chances of recording their names in the score sheet. Milinkovic-Savic, on the other hand, stopped three shots on target, helping Fiorentina to maintain its unbeaten run under coach Paolo Vanoli. Napoli is not in good shape now, considering that they have managed to win just two games in five matches. Those betting on them should have to consider that they are not the powerhouse we saw two seasons ago when they won the Serie A.

Pictured above is one of the players who made a difference for Bologna last season, Santiago Castro. Recording 11 goals & 3 assists is an impressive feat, considering he is a wonderkid. This season, he is no longer with Bologna because the club sold him to Roma for €36,000,000. So, their drop in performance this season should come as no surprise, they aren't looking at the long term.

What a great week. So far we are not seeing any game ended with 0-0. It seems all of big clubs are finally finding their own way to be competitive clubs, but surprisingly Como may be joining in the title race as well because they're still showing positive trend.
The current odds look like this at this time.

The problem is odds seems still putting Intermilan as heavy favorite to win the league. I can understand it because they're former of a winner last season, and they are not showing a decline in their performance.
However, Roma is obviously getting underpriced here consider they're almost as good as Intermilan, but getting priced with 6.50. I think the gap is too big between both of clubs.

Nevertheless, it's gonna be a plot twist if Como is gonna be going up, then joining Inter and Roma for the title race.

I'm wondering which clubs you guys think potentially to join in the top 3 to race for the title, but mine is still putting Inter, Roma and Como to be the clubs fight for the title.

In Italy, Roma has been exhibiting exciting success in the league for the last two years. This year, especially in their last match against Inter, I can say they played very well. They almost beat Inter, who are considered by many to be the strongest team in Italy. Roma continues to be a contender for the championship this year. Inter will likely be competing with Roma this season. The chemistry between Malen and Dybala is fantastic, and the most important factor in the team's success is the good understanding between these two players and their creation of many goals.

Honestly, Roma performances have seriously improved this season, and I wish they can keep it up because many of these teams are how they always ended up disappointing someone after someone has believed in them that they will win a trophy. That is how AC Milan and Juventus started so well last season, thinking that they would be the team that might likely win the Serie A. But in the second half of the season, that is how they started losing matches back-to-back.So, for now, I don’t have much trust in Roma’s performances. I think my judgment of Roma will start coming around maybe when they have played about half of the season’s games, because that is when most teams’ players start getting exhausted.

It's Always the case. When the team needs money to fund the leftover squad and still make profit, they have to sacrifice their most valuable players. Last season, although their turnout wasn't really impressive, but the 8 position was not bad either. That would have given them a better edge to contest for a closer spot and perhaps, qualify for any European competition. Some teams just don't carea about what happens next, they just need the money.

I have also noticed that Milan has picked up really good since the beginning of this season. They seem to have discovered their passion to stand a better position this time around.

The ability to keep your quality players is one thing big teams have, and any average or struggling teams that are able to maintain their best players are always doing well for themselves, and that has been the main reason why Roma is performing well from last three seasons.

Roma was able to keep Dybala for more than three seasons now, and some other key players, they just let Tammy Abraham go after like four seasons with them, and now they have more players to help the team win the Serie A this season. Their consistency in the past three seasons was impressive, they finished third last season, and fifth in the last two seasons. You can see the progress, and this season, they are trying to win the league because if they are consistent, they will win the league.

I'm as surprised as you are for that Como game, like I never think of them with this kind of performance not for now, and even if there will be something like this it's probably not with a team like Frosinone no it's definitely not with such a weak teams, but it's all good anyways, as we all know football do happen, so it really happened to them today, that's not the end of the road for them,

Frosinone is actually in some kind of form this season. They have lost only to Juventus, so that explains it. I knew they were in form, but I didn't expect them to be good enough to stop Como from scoring. I didn't watch the game, so I can't say if Como just played badly or Frosinone were just good. I knew Como could lose, but I expected them to score.

I'm actually expecting a good performance from them on their next game,

Como is a good team. I believe it's just one of those games. Even good teams like Arsenal and PSG have those days. They will still get back to winning and scoring goals after the international break.

And for Juventus I think they are just one mysterious team that one can't predict for now, so I has been avoiding them lately.

I've been avoiding Juventus a lot in my bets, but depending on the game, I would start taking a risk on them to score. They mostly score in all their games.

Even every season, Inter are always among the favorites to win the title. But, there is no real dominance in Serie A, and over the past few seasons, we have seen different teams at the top of the table. So I still have my doubts about Inter. Even though they look convincing, I would rather go with Roma at the higher odds, as they have shown more consistent performances.

AC Milan managed to pick up their third win in this season in the Serie A and I noticed that they had more influence in this match as they were able to perform in their natural form against an inferior team like Lecce. AC Milan have not tasted defeat in a match so far this season so it can be said that this team is still in the right position but they are already sixth in the points table due to two draws but this team is well ahead of Napoli. However my opinion the team should prepare for their UEFA Europa League second match as they face RB Salzburg in that match.

Roma is gradually going, they are in 13points in 5matches, and if not for the draw against inter Milan on Saturday they would have widen the margin in the league table, Roma came very mean this season, unlike their usual routine, if anyone is still looking down on Roma after the last 5 matches, that person may have little understanding about football, we can not easily come to the summary of the team that will take the trophy home in the Italian serie A this season, but I won't be surprised if Roma takes it home, there performance is not questionable at the moment, so they can lift they can lift the trophy.
