What is happening in Serie A now is the perfect example of what a competition should look like, and not what is happening in leagues like Bundesliga and La Liga where one or two clubs dominate all the time. There should be pressure everywhere, where the ranks are keenly contested. TBH, I never expected Roma to get this far at the number one spot, though it's still 5 matches; it's becoming it gradaully, especially with their current form and how the players are passionate about the game. Gasperini may not be known for bigger achievements too, but seasons aren't always judged like that, but by what's currently happening. Let's see how it goes, but sooner or later, Inter will be their tough trouble.

I don't want to downplay what Roma has achieved so far in 5 Serie A matches that put them in first place. I mean, it's still too early to say Roma will be a main contender this season for the Serie A trophy, especially as you said with Roma's current squad depth, they're certainly not strong enough to handle 3 different competitions because certainly such a tight schedule will affect the team's performance.

In the last 4 matches Roma won because they played against relatively easy teams, and in their most recent game they were also very good because they managed to hold Inter Milan to a draw. But Gasperini challenges aren’t over yet because in the next match they will face Como, which is a very solid team and often surprises when facing tough opponents. On top of that, in the UCL Roma will face Madrid. So I have doubts that Roma can compete closely for the Serie A trophy this season even though so far they haven’t been defeated, but with such a tight schedule it will definitely affect Roma performance.

I don’t think Milan will succeed under Amorim. They didn’t have a good season in Serie A last year, and this season they made a poor choice in coaching staff. Inter is, as always, the top contender for the title, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they win it again this season. I still remember that day; I was just a little boy and I remember there was a huge celebration for them. Roma now dominate the league with 11 GD since the share the same point with Inter but I'm yet to be convinced they have what it takes to maintain this form and still stay strong in the champions league competition. The drew their first leg against Fenerbahçe which was their 1 of 8 matches in the competition. Gasperini has so much to do if the form must be maintained. I am only waiting to see how far they go.

But the fact is that Roma are currently in good shape and bookmakers rate them as the second team in the title race:

Most of us are not Roma fans but we feel they should win as well, if only wishes were horses as they usually say it. I want Roma to win it for two reasons, they have been so good this season and secondly I want to see a new name on the league winners sheet after a long time. We have seen new champions emerge of the long era of Juventus, adding Roma to it will increase the league competitiveness. I'm imagining Roma as the winner of the 2026/27 season, wouldn't it be something to talk about? It's early for these wishes but I would like to see something like this, a change.

The Seria A is now seen to be very competitive unlike other leagues in Europe. The Seria A scudetto is mainly for the determined and serious teams, we know what it means for these clubs to come out and compete, the always know what's coming for them and they do try their possible best to make winnings count. But Juventus are surprising me because they've fallen off so bad but trying to get back to their heel, I will say I'm proud of the players to be able to organized themselves and compete again, not all elite team are capable of pulling such stunt.

Seria A scudetto will be won by which of these teams this season? Inter Milan? AC Milan? AS Roma? Or Como who are belting up good corners for the games ahead and securing solidable spot on the league table this season. I think we should also keep close eyes on Como because they're doing something unbelievable.
