I think things are a little different with Roma because Gasperini spent last season building the team, and they have started this season well, so I don’t think we should compare them to the previous season. Roma are very deserving of being considered the second candidate after Inter Milan. Their high level of consistency makes them one of the title contenders this season.

I also have a feeling that from the 2023/24 season until last season, Inter Milan and Napoli have taken turns winning the title. On top of that, Napoli have had poor results this season and have lacked consistency, while Inter Milan's defense looks weaker and not as solid as it was last season. With that in mind, I have a feeling that if Roma can maintain this level of consistency, they could win the title this season.

I'm going to put some money on Roma winning the title.

There is nothing wrong with hoping that Roma can win the title this season. Based on the statistics, anyone could doubt them, but based on what we have seen on the pitch, Roma have improved every season, and I have often mentioned their progress here.

Besides, statistics do not guarantee that a team will always fail to win the title. A simple example is Leverkusen, although they play in a different league. 7I will bet on Roma to win the title, and we can come back to this thread at the end of the season to see whether the statistics were wrong or Roma's performances were the ones that proved misleading.

Inter's odds is not questionable because the consistency being valued more than how much goals conceded by the club. We always have inter consistently competing for the title and won two seasons from last four seasons. They shoulda valued better than Roma when it comes to the title fight.
I think such a huge gap to roma makes sense because Roma quite often have incredible season, but they always failed to finished it with proper result like winning the league for more than two decades.

The Juventus manager one time lead his Napoli side to glory on the league, maybe he could be the one to restore the same glory to the old ladies. They have a good home form but struggling with away games. The upcoming fixture against Cagliari one of the finest attacking sides in Seria should say something more about their performance on the road. Like I wrote, finishing top four should be their goal.
