We should now stop criticizing Italian clubs and focus on their successes. Not only Napoli failed in the Champions League, but Inter Milan, Como and Roma also failed. Although Como and Roma's performance was relatively good.
After the Champions League failure, Italian clubs were successful in the Europa League. Milan defeated the host team by a large margin of 0-4 goals and Juventus also won after a hard fight. But from my point of view, this is not the place for them to compete, the expected place is the Champions League. If these two clubs somehow find their prime time, they might once again dominate the Champions League.
As me for me I'm so impressed by Roma and como performance, if I'm not mistaken Roma played their last champions league 2018 since then they've been struggling since. Playing against a club like Real Madrid who always appeared in champions league every season isn't easy, even i was surprised they scored Madrid 3 goals and como tried their best too. This is the first time como is playing champions league, even their first match against liepzpig they won them with 4 goals they scored so I'm glad for this two clubs here eith their recent performance both in serie A and champions league matches.

Lautaro Martinez's injury is very long, he will be out for more than a month. Of course, this will be very damaging to the team. If Inter can't find a solution, their chances of winning matches without their most important goalscorer this season will be significantly reduced. The player who will replace him has a huge task; if they can't fill his shoes, they won't score goals and will lose a lot of points. Hopefully, he can return to his old form after the injury. Inter has progressed very well in the league so far, and the team had started to play very cohesively. Let's see if they can find the right strategies
Considering how poorly Inter have been defending and how often they've had to rely on their attacking play to save matches, I think losing Martinez is a huge blow for them. According to some reports, he could be out for around a month, although there's still no exact timeline for his recovery. He's definitely going to miss tomorrow's match against Bologna, and his availability for the Milan derby at the end of October is also in doubt. Let's wish him a speedy recovery and hope he gets back on the pitch as soon as possible. He's a very important player for Inter right now. Losing Lautaro is a major blow for Inter, especially considering how often they have to rely on their attacking play. Chivu still has a few options to choose from. Thuram regularly contributes to goals, while Pio Esposito has already recorded four goal contributions in Serie A. Bonny is another option. Of course, replacing Martinez won’t be easy, but Inter still have three forwards to choose from, so a lot will depend on the attacking combinations Chivu decides to use. Hopefully, Lautaro recovers quickly and returns to the pitch as soon as possible.

Lautaro Martinez has reportedly suffered a strain to the flexor muscle in his left thigh. This is bad news for Inter who are focused on maintaining their position in the standings.
Bad news that is certainly a loss for Inter. What can be done might be to leave Thuram upfront, or still rely on two strikers by trusting Francesco Pio and another player. But anyway we know Lautaro Martinez's role in the team, hopefully they can still perform at their best. Thuram is the key figure now in that squad,He needs to has one more foot on his star power in the absence Lautaro. Although last season he ahd some gae where Lautaro not available but he wasn't that sharp or very convincing to call the main man. So now he ahs the opportunity for another 5 to 6 weeks that Lautaro will be out of the squad, he should make good use of it.

Things don’t always go well, of course. This week in the Champions League, the Italian teams failed to deliver the expected performances. What surprised me the most was Inter losing to Club Brugge on their home turf. I had fully expected Inter to take all 3 points, even though they were playing against a less challenging opponent, they ended up dropping those points at home. While it might have been plausible for Napoli, Como, or Roma to lose, I was certain that Inter would win. In the end, all four teams suffered defeats.
Sure, Serie A teams can score goals, but they still all lose. You could say this was a dark matchday in the UCL for Serie A teams—if I’m not mistaken, it’s the first time in history that four Italian teams lost in the same round of the UCL. In previous seasons, out of the four Serie A representative teams, at least one would win in their second UCL match, but this time they all lost together. Roma and Inter lost at home with the same score. Napoli and Como lost away conceding the same number of goals. Out of these four clubs, only Como has managed to win a UCL match from the two games played so far. Inter Milan, AS Roma, and Napoli haven’t won a UCL match at all. Now all those teams are focused on Serie A and hope their performance isn’t affected by that loss. It’s exciting for us to watch as the Week 7 Serie A matchups get more competitive, with Inter facing Bologna, Como taking on Fiorentina, and Roma going up against Genoa, while Lazio will face Juventus after their win against Celta Vigo in the Europa League. Each team has its own motivation for this match, especially since the results will make the standings even more dynamic.

They write that he should recover within a month. The next three games are Bologna, Fiorentina, and Venezia. Theoretically, Inter shouldn't have any problems here. After that comes the derby against Milan, and that’s where Lautaro’s absence could really be felt. Then, by the way, there will be a break for the Nations League, so even if Martinez doesn’t make it in a month, Inter won’t feel the difference and might even be happy if Martinez misses the Italian national team’s games. P.S. I'm already asleep, yes, he's from Argentina

You might be wrong, Lautaro Martinez is not an Italian player, he is an Argentine and he has been playing for the Argentine national team for a long time. Argentina might not face any problems due to his injury, because they already have alternative players. Lautaro Martinez is Inter Milan's main striker, his injury is certainly not positive for the team. Still, it will not be a big problem if they do not have a key player against the opponents they will face in 1 month. One negative aspect is that the manager will have one less option. I do not see any big problems against AC Milan either, because Milan's performance has not been good at all recently.

I read a summary of an article from La Gazzetta dello Sport saying that Inter will have to play their next seven matches without their captain due to Lautaro Martinez's injury. It's unclear exactly how long he'll be out, but I'd guess around two months. I was just about to point out that Lautaro Martinez is Argentine, but you beat me to it)

Martinez's absence will definitely affect Inter Milan's performance.. His role in Inter Milan is so important, he's a key player for pressing up front.. Without him, Inter could struggle to maintain effectiveness in their pressing game, which is a bad thing because Inzaghi would have to put another player in his position and that might disrupt their play quite a bit.. Especially with their tight schedule, his absence could make Inter drop points because they are unable to perform optimally. So in this case, Inzaghi hopes that Thuram, Esposito, and Ange-Yoan Bonny can at least perform better, or else Inter might be held to a draw or even lose in their game.

It looks like Inter and Roma, the two favorite teams today, have been quite unlucky. Both teams will be missing their key players, Lautaro Martínez and Donyell Malen, in today's matches. Anyone planning to bet on these two games should think carefully before betting on the favorites.
I predict that both Bologna vs Inter and roma vs Genoa are likely to finish with under 3.5 total goals.

Frosinone, the league’s newcomer, defeated Sassuolo 4-2 at home, bringing its point total to 13. They put on a strong performance against their opponent. Based on its performance so far, it seems likely that Frosinone could be a surprise team this season, much like Como.

Yes it's for sure, this change in Inter's attack phase will greatly influence Inter's performance but i would like to remind you that there is a very young boy called Pio Esposito who isn't highly regarded but scores a lot and i think his time has finally come, maybe he's ready.

Perhaps Pio Esposito can help Inter’s front line become more effective in attack. He is a talented young player given his solid contributions this season by scoring 2 goals and even providing 1 assist. We can also see that he played a key role in helping Inter during their last match against Bologna last season by scoring the goal that prevented Inter from losing that game. Tonight Inter must be extremely vigilant to avoid conceding first against Bologna as that would make it difficult for them to mount a comeback. Bologna will defend with everything they’ve got on their home turf to avoid losing points. I personally predict this will be a very tight match given that Inter will be facing a team capable of putting up a strong fight against them. A draw is certainly possible just like in their previous head-to-head meetings. But if Inter can score the opening goal early in this match then I’m confident they’ll look like a reliable team capable of securing the win.

But seeing Roma also performing quite well, hopefully Inter's performance does not decline due to one of their players being injured. We know how important he is, but there is no choice, they still have to play at their best.

Do you mean an individual total? In that case, it’s hard to argue If we’re talking about the total, then there’s something to discuss here. In their last 6 matches, Inter has conceded at least 2 goals in 5 of them. Bologna looks extremely questionable in attack, though playing at home against a team that is involved in the Champions League might give them a chance. Overall, I'll pass this game by, I don't have a vision of how it's most likely to go. Napoli has 30 minutes left to save themselves against Venezia - heh, the Champions League doesn't come for free.

yes, perhaps this is why they were wrong, in fact he is not an Italian player, but an Argentinian one if I'm not mistaken, he also won the World Cup, if he plays for Inter it could certainly be misleading but everyone knows that I'm there, i believe that Lautaro is an excellent player and when he's on the pitch he always causes a lot of problems.

Venezia vs Napoli game just ended 1-0, with Kevin De Bruyne missing a crucial penalty that would have leveled the game at 1-1. This was a result that I would never have expected, back to back loss for Napoli now, a truly disappointing performance indeed.
They are currently 9th in the table and would need to do better to rank up to the top 4 this season. Their next opponent is Bodø/Glimt in the Champions league, would that be another loss for them?

Shame on Napoli. Napoli's performance was disgraceful. Napoli have played 9 matches across all competitions, with 5 losses, wins, and 1 draw. Napoli used to be the champions of Italy. All of a sudden, they cant win a team like Venezia. The one change Kevin De Bruyne got he lacked confidence to score.

Perhaps Roma’s match won’t be as high scoring because Genoa can put in a better defensive performance. But Inter’s match has already gone over the total you predicted because they conceded first and had to fight their way back into the game. They immediately stepped up and have already scored three goals. So it’s clear that Inter are going to win this match. I think Roma should win as well, although who knows how they’ll feel after losing to Real Madrid.

Looks like Napoli forgot that Venezia came to play football, not to give them free points. The UCL doesn't come for free, but apparently Napoli thought they could just show up and collect the points. Maybe they need a reminder that reputation alone doesn't win matches. I feel like so many favorites have produced ridiculous results today, and this has happened across several leagues, including serie A. It reminds me of what you said in the ligue 1 thread " breaking the entire logic of the season for the sake of the Champions League."

I don’t have high expectation for Napoli this season. Their performance last season also fell short of expectation. And now, the team has become even weaker. Following poor showing from their attack last season, Napoli really should have brought in some experienced forward. Instead, they added two inexperienced player Hojlund and Santos. There has been no real improvement in their attacking line. Scoring more than one goal has now become difficult task for them. They even failed completely to break down weak defense like that of Venezia. Napoli had full control of match. They managed to create plenty of opportunity. Yet, they still couldn't manage to score any single goal.
