I hope that Bayern have to fight to be Champions this season, it's been too easy for them in recent seasons. Hopefully Dortmund are much stronger & put up a better fight.

It's hard to expect like that, undeniable Bayern Munich is the best team in the Bundes League in recent years. They are very dominating, often winning even long before the last game. I also expected a more difficult journey for Bayern Munich to be champions, but it seemed to be hard to see.

the transfert of Dembele will help Dortmund getting closer to Bayern level in the next few years it wouldn't help them for the short-term it'll because it will hurt them on the pitch but if Dortmund reinvest smart this transfer might help reducing the financial gap between Bayern and Dortmund the gap have gotten bigger lately because of the Worldwide fans of Bayern make them more profits then Dortmund Bpundesliga is not the same anymore it is like children against men the level of play has regressed in recent years we saw Hoffenheim finishing in top 4 and they have been very awfull lately getting hamered by Liverpool in CL qualification stages and i don't think that Leipzig will do anything significent

I don't really agree here because Dortmund has always sold lots of their players to the top European soccer clubs and i really dont see ant major signing that they do with all the money that they eventually get, they just but lesser known players ans develop them only to sell them later.That's what they always do.

Disagree! Which top players did Dortmund sell except Dembele? Robert Lewandowski went to Bavaria on a free transfer. He did not want to extend his contract. Bayern made a big offer to Dortmund a year before when he had one year left to fulfill its contact but Dortmund denied. The club rather accepted to let the big money lip so that he played one more year for them. The club also got a big offer for Aubameyang from various clubs and all offers were denied by Dortmund. Dembele wouldn't have been tranferred either when he did not deny to return to the training of the club.

Look at Dortmund's record throughout the last five years, They sold Mario Gotze, Shinji Kagawa, Mikhitryan and a whole of lot of others, the team has become a breeding ground for the other elites clubs in Europe and they were ready to Aubameyang and even gave a timeline where any interested club was to made a bid.

It will be interesting to watch for the upcoming match. I hope both teams will not disappoint us and show spectacular football. In that season, Leipzig played very well. Many of them did not expect this.

regarding all of the Germany teams who participated on champion league in my view only Bayern Munich had an easy schedule but for RB Leipzig and Dortmund they are clearly in the hard group especially for Dortmund they have to fight for next phase against Real madrid and Tottenham and these two team is very strong

I am wholly tipping Hamburger SV for a straight win when they face RB Leipzig later today, With two games played between the two sided, both teams have managed to win in their opponents home ground, Leipzig scored four goals while Hamburger scored three goals, I am sure there will be goals over 2.5 in this game as well.

Right, Goetze was transferred to Bayern for €37 mln because he did not want to extend his contract therfore Dortmund was forced to sell him in order to still get some money for him before contract ends. But Goetze was not that important for Dortmund as Lewandowski or Dembele were. And Dortmund bought Goetze back for 22 mln last year so the club even made 15 mln in profit. yesterday was the bad day for many giants in the European football. especially for Bayern Munich. I couldn't believe the result though I missed the game due to my business, this is a very unexpected result from the Bavarian. on the other hand, Liverpool has shown just a frustrating football. hopefully, Jurgen Klopp will discuss with Coutinho about this importance before the next game.

Bavaria has developed back under Ancelotti. Pep has left a functioning team, which had not won the Champions League in three years but played together very well. The current team does not work at all.
