Probably because of inexperience. But it caused them to lose points. Maybe they could have still secured a 3-2 win as their opponent was St. Pauli in the end. But anyways... Not an ideal start to the season for Dortmund.

Agree. I thought I would watch a competitive match. Because Leipzig vs Munich matches are usually quite exciting. Leipzig is one of the strongest teams in the Bundesliga. But this match was completely one-sided. I saw only Munich's dominance in the first half and Bayern Munich got a 3-0 lead in the first half. Bayern Munich continued their aggressive gameplay in the second half. Harry Kane's hat-trick resulted in Bayern Munich winning by a huge margin of 6-0. Bayern Munich started the season excellently. It is clear that they will have no problem winning the Bundesliga title. Now I am waiting to see if the team is able to continue the same dominance on the Champions League platform.

Well, I think RB Leipzig's poor performance could be attributed to the fact that they had lost some of their prolific players in the transfer market and are now trying to recoup with what they have available in the squad which I think is not enough or good enough to withstand the might of the German champions who have strengthened their squad in a bid to defend their title this season, that's why I believe it was easier for Bayern to override Leipzig.

Bayern will easily win the championship and Dortmund will not be able to challenge them. I like St. Pauli and I was happy they got one point. Definitely RB Leipzig was not expected to win Bayern Munich and even if they were to get that done, it would not have come easy for them because I believe Bayern Munich will definitely make it very difficult for them but just like expected, Bayern did out performed Leipzig, and I believe they will even do more after now. Where I want to see Bayern Munich do evene more should be in the champions league.

Over the past two seasons I don’t think many people have actually noticed that Dortmund have been basically poor in the Bundesliga. They have just been able to cover this up by making the champions league cut for each of the season. For example they were seriously looking to miss out on champions league football for this season only to flip the clubs on the top and qualify which is the reason why most people haven’t actually seen how bad they are at the moment.

I also agree that Bayern Munich will be most likely the champions at the of the league because they seriously do not have a match at the moment in the Bundesliga, the other supposed top clubs like Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen too are just too poor and as of time of this post cannot compete with Bayern Munich for anything.

Critical voices are already growing louder because RB Leipzig played so poorly in the first match of the new season. Klopp is head of global soccer at Red Bull and therefore primarily responsible for the success of the clubs under Red Bull. He has apparently already been in contact with Ole Werner, the coach of Leipzig, and I can well imagine that he is now helping them out so that the season does not turn into a disaster.

In their last friendly game before the start of the season Leverkusen have lost to Chelsea 2-0. The game was a total dominance by Chelsea with ball possession of 70% and 24 shots on goal (9 on target) Vs. Leverkusen's only 4 shots (2 on target).
Judging by this game alone, things are not looking very bright for Ten Haag's team.
They further strengthened their squad in the recent days by completing acquisition of goalkeeper Janis Blaswich (Leipzig) and right winger Ernest Poku (AZ Alkmaar). We'll see if that will make any difference.
Tomorrow they are playing against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach (a Regional League club) in the first round of the DFB Pokal. Anything other than a convincing win by Bayer will be a red flag.

There are many criticisms about ETH, for me this is something of a warning, however things can change for the first games of the official season and if they see that they lose at least the first 5 games then it is time for him to be fired, more failures cannot be accepted in this team, Leverkusen is a team that is used to winning.

One point, a disappointing result, as they should have taken all three. They were just minutes away from securing all three points, but unfortunately, their consistency faded in the final minutes, conceding two goals and having to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Regarding F. Mane, he had a poor start to his debut, and he was only just brought on and now he's out for the next two matches. And you're right, he committed an unnecessary foul as the ball was almost secured by the goalkeeper.

The head coach, Kompany is settling well with the team and Tbh, there's no form of strategy that can work in a team of lazy players. If it keeps on this level, this season will definitely give them another trophy. They can also aim at winning the champions League as well.

 Bayern Leverkusen on the other hand is doing some improvement in the squad with Ten hag heading the team, I believe that might be very challenging in the league and Dortmund as well are also going to chase the league title because they won their last match.     That`s a good point. Besides Dortmund,  other contenders were also disappointing in opening matchday. Leverkusen, Leipzig and Stuttgart - all three  had a poor start.   Maybe Frankfurt could become a dark horse of the season (first game against Bremen is inspiring for some positive expectations). And Bayern winning 6-0 against Leipzig in the opening match is like a sign of its clear dominance in the tournament.

Erik Ten Hag had already coached the team in a similar way in friendly matches. I don't think he has a particularly good technical knowledge. He may have achieved great things in the Netherlands, but the Dutch league isn't as high-quality as the German league, nor is it as good as the Premier League. I don't understand how coaches who are good in the Dutch league have found so many opportunities. He'll likely continue to manage a team in the Dutch league from now on. Bayer Leverkusen may be his last experience outside the Netherlands.

Hahaha yeah Mane cost his club important game by getting a very harsh red card. He gave away the pen to the ST pauli, and that's where they lose their two points. He's not ready for Bundesliga's level and have to find his replacement. He must not be played in the another game.

I don't wanna see him back in the Dortmund's squad. He's only burdening the club instead of contributed.

Bayern Munich truly regained their top spot in the league and this time, they're not giving away chances rather they keep scoring and making their opponent look hopeless. The head coach Vincent Kompany is cooking something big this season with the squad. This is usually the longest transfer windows and I think Bayern made good use of it as the new players are even more active; but as usual, we're here to see how this ends for them!

Luiz Diaz was on the score sheet as well and his performance really was very impressive to watch. For RB Leipzig, it was really a huge loss for them conceding such a number of goals in their first matchday of the  Bundesliga competition and failing to score -- definitely wasn't a good start for them after selling out most of their promising players to other teams.

It's only the first week of the Bundesliga and we've already been treated to surprises from two title contenders. First Leverkusen lost at home to a mediocre team. This seems to be a clear sign they're no longer the team we'd hoped for. Finally Dortmund faced a similar situation, but they still managed to pick up a point, which wasn't their goal, we must realize that this season Bundesliga may not be particularly exciting in terms of the title race. However we might just be treated to a tight battle for second and fourth place.

Those two matches messed my bet up this entire week. I never expected both of them to be unable to win their first matches of the season, I bet them straight win and they spoilt my parlay that would have fetched me decent amount of money. As they have shown remarkable this weekend, going forward I will concentrate on goals because they score and concede. Assuming I played that this weekend,  I would have been swimming in money by now.

We need to play safe in betting in the Bundesliga competition this year because clearly Leverkusen and Dortmund are not always reliable, or take a high risk by risking our money on their opponents because of course with their appearance like this, defeat can approach them. To be honest, this year I personally hesitate to rely on them in betting slip even though the Bundesliga competition has just begun, especially relying on Leverkusen because remembering Ten Hag is their head coach.
