When Bayer Leverkusen wasn't winning matches during the Pre-Season games the sign was there for them to have gotten a replacement for Ten Hag instead of taking the big risk to let him handle 2 matches before sacking him, the bold step is commendable by the management as Ten Hag could not get a win in his first two matches the best thing to do now is for them to make a serious signing before the transfer window closes they should get more players and get a better manager to revive the team.

It is normal for most teams and even fans to not pay attention to preseason games because it is usually believed that at that point coaches may be protecting their tactics and strategy so they do not let it out to other la to see what they have got at hand ready for the season but in the case of ten Hag, it was a different case and it was sad that the team was still looking at him in that light throughout the preseason defeat. But now, this has made it clear that ten Hag has a problem to fix on him self.

I saw this coming, he hasn't even stay in the club for half a season and "here he goes" it funny though, although I expected that he'll might be sacked along the line but not so fast, this shows how bad Ten Hag has got after coaching Manchester United, I feel pity for Amorim cause with the way it's going he could suffer similar faith as Erik Ten Hag.

 He better settle down for a while after this and work on himself and mental health before thinking of taking another job cause it's very obvious that the job at Manchester United really affected him so badly, before he became the manager of that Team he was one of the best in Europe, the best in the Eredivisie league but post working with Manchester United he's been so shitty and can't even secure another job for a complete season, so sad.

I don't think judging any coach based on preseason is the right thing to do, because preseason matches are not always serious. A preseason match is just a way of warming up players. So, despite not winning any matches in preseason, it is not the right decision to sack a coach.

Ten Hag is a new coach at Leverkusen, and the club may have done thorough research before deciding to appoint him.i know it won’t be easy for Leverkusen this season, and part of the reason is that they don’t have enough quality players in the squad. We can compare this season’s Leverkusen team to last season’s and even the one from two seasons ago.

If Ten Hag was opportune to be coaching same squad that Alonso coached last season and last two season, the situation might not be this bad he might have seen at least one win from the two matches they have played so far.But as you've said, the best thing for them to do now is to enter the transfer market and quickly make some good signings before the window closes.

Leverkusen fired Ten Hag as expected, this was not surprising news to anyone because Ten Hags reputation had been damaged after managing Manchester United, and no team would believe the way he worked anymore. After getting one point in the first two games of the season, the team chose to part ways with the coach. Even Manchester United supposed sack him from his debut since they couldn't get the results they expected, but they kept him for two seasons.

However, I will not say that this is the worst manager ever fired in football after only two games with their new team, but it is the first in Bundesliga history.  The majority of people may believe that Ten Hag deserves more time because Leverkusen sold their main players, but winning from 1-3 against ten men and later finished draw was a very disappointing result, they could have lost the match because Augsburg pressed them in the final minute.

Your thoughts are worthwhile, mate. I suggest that Ten Hag and Jose Mourinho take at least one year break. They are both good coaches, but they lack current tactics to win games. Just like Zinedine Zidane and other managers usually do, let both of them go and learn from top coaches how to apply new managerial strategies.  Maybe Pep Guardiola might be the next coach to be sacked because of City's poor performance.

In recent games, Bayern Munich has proven themselves as the strong team with their dominance in matches and the new recruit professional players, but their match against Wehen Wiesbaden was a dramatic one to watch. I've noticed in Bayern's last two games, they have conceded goals which is not supposed to be so for a team with such a high prospect and with the belief on their intention of winning the European trophy this season.

it really shows their inconsistency in matches; I must say, with their current squad, I don't think they're supposed to concede goals that way in a single match. However, Bayern Munich is still the favourite to carry their domestic cup again this season but that shouldn't be their main pursuit anyway.

Bayern Munich are currently at the top but Frankfurt is closely behind them, if Munich doesn't keep up with their performance they might be replaced by frankfurt but I'm very sure that bayern has what it takes to maintain their position. Their defense is top notch, down to their goal scoring capacity, it seems they are going to dominate this season just like the previous one but football is full of surprises let's see what happens

I don't know what you think, but I think Leverkusen will end the season with a very bad performance under this manager. The players in the team have not changed, only the manager has changed, and I don't know why the team's performance has deteriorated a lot because of this manager change. The management and the fans are definitely not satisfied with the manager. Now if Leverkusen consistently performs poorly in the first few matches, what action can the club take against the manager?
Maybe the club will try to find a good manager, but a manager doesn't really want to take charge of a team in the middle of the season, so if Leverkusen can't find a good manager, maybe Ten Hag will take charge of Leverkusen this season, but Leverkusen will definitely change their manager next season.

It is clear you are unhappy with how Leverkusen is playing since new manager took over. It is common problem in football new coach can mess up team flow even with same players. It is frustrating to watch your favorite team struggle and it makes sense that you are worried about manager effect. You made good point about club being under pressure to make change if team keeps playing badly. As you said finding good manager in middle of season is very difficult and your idea about Ten Hag is interesting. It is tough situation and you are probably right that permanent change might not happen until end of season.

Ten Hag's background is bad, that's why we can't take Leverkusen's defeats under him as normal, but if any other manager had taken charge of Leverkusen and Leverkusen had performed relatively poorly, we would have thought that the manager was new to the club and that's why it takes some time for his team to perform normally. When Xabi Alonso took charge of Leverkusen, the Leverkusen team seemed confident and they played their best on the field, so why Leverkusen's players don't seem confident since Ten Hag took charge, they can't perform like before, is always a controversial issue.

Although they criticize the manager, those who are Leverkusen supporters will not want their team to perform badly, so Leverkusen supporters certainly don't think of any alternative to Leverkusen winning. This points are very valid, I really agree to this very much, with ten Hag this is the exact thing he needs , a break for a while will do absolutely no harm, if it were possible he should go on a vacation take trips just make sure to take good break from all of the whole professional stress and if need be go for therapy.  Other coaches did it and it worked for them so it will onlmake sense if he follows suit before he gets his career too messy that he is unable  to get any good job in a good high ranking league.

They decided not to wait long, and after just two rounds they decided to sack Ten Hag, which I definitely did not expect. Leipzig has finally sold Xavi Simons to Tottenham. He signed to Leipzig at £50m and now, has been sold for around £65m to Tottenham.That was a profitable deal for Leipzig, but they have lost some important players in their squad. Still wondering how they will cope with the available players this season. Apparently, they had a poor performance at the start of the season.

It seems like there are after the profit they make from players rather than improving the team's ability to win trophies/ contest for titles. With such a horrible performance in the start of the season, releasing important players shouldn't have been an option for them.
 Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig match was really a terrible one to watch. I wonder how the home fans felt about the team after such a loss; 6 goals to nil.

The league has just started, there were only 2 rounds, Leverkusen had 1 draw and 1 loss, honestly, how can this be a reason to fire a coach? Does Leverkusen's management realize that there is no club that doesn't lose? Does Leverkusen's management realize that all new coaches take time to get used to a new coach, and players also take time to get used to a new coach? So, getting used to a new coach in just two games is complicated.

As far as I know, Ten Hag has never been to Leverkusen as a coach before, and I believe he hasn't been there as a player. He also doesn't have much experience in the Bundesliga. So, demanding that he perform well in the first few games would be asking too much. I also highly doubt that another coach will be as successful at Leverkusen as Xabi Alonso was. I think Leverkusen's management thinks they can find the next Xabi Alonso. Leverkusen will no longer achieve the same level of success they had with Xabi Alonso.

I'm not surprised by the news because I know that this will happen, although I didn't expect it so quickly, but I expect Erik Ten Hag to be sacked by Leverkusen, Erik Ten Hag did not have any strategy to coach any big team at this point, and no big team will accept what happened to Leverkusen in their last game, leading from 3-1 to 3-3 and the opponent still getting a red card is a shameful thing for any team. I know Erik Ten Hag will not succeed since he has shown that he cannot win any match since the preseason, when he conceded five goals against Flamengo U-20.

Leverkusen made a mistake from the beginning when they signed him as a replacement for Xabi Alonso. Xabi Alonso built Leverkusen with young players and knows how to coach them and win games. Leverkusen should go for a manager who knows how to win games, not someone like Erik Ten Hag, who wants to finish Manchester United.

Leverkusen made a big mistake by hiring Erik ten Hag as their new coach. It was a huge mistake that wasted their time, but it turned out to be a pretty good decision when Leverkusen acted quickly to fire ETH. Because if ETH had stayed with the team, it would have caused Leverkusen to fall even further.

And I don't quite understand what's been happening lately, where in a short period of time, three former Manchester United coaches have been fired by their new clubs: Jose Mourinho was fired by Fenerbahçe, Ole Gunnar was fired by Beşiktaş, and most recently, Erik ten Hag was fired by Leverkusen.

Being sacked even before the halfway point of the season is truly the most bitter experience ETH has ever faced, and we'll have to wait and see if ETH is still interested in returning to coaching.

If Leverkusen's management had given Ten Hag a little more time, Leverkusen would have been lower in the Bundesliga in terms of points. The biggest reason for the poor performance was Ten Hag's style of play. I think what happened in the Bremen match was the final straw.

I've never found Dutch managers to be successful. Ten Hag's next destination will be his home country.

Klopp is a good candidate for Leverkusen, and perhaps Klopp could come to Leverkusen for a new challenge.

I think they made a huge move by dismissing him early, and I think it was the right move. Everyone thought he wasn't up to par since he took over. They failed to win two official matches and had abysmal scores in friendly matches. Therefore, Bayer Leverkusen will now move forward with a manager who is worthy of their position, has good leadership, and is experienced. Perhaps now they can re-enter the title race.

Normally you can’t compare the preseason matches to the main competition; many players and coaches do not even take the preseason matches that seriously. However, even though we know that Ten Hag had a bad result in his previous club, even with that,

we can’t just damage or say bad things about his performance in Bayer Leverkusen in the preseason matches; rather, let’s see how his performances go in the Bundesliga competition so that we will know what to say and how it is, but judging the manager’s performance from the preseason could be wrong.

It has become crystal clear that Ten Hag isn't a quality coach, after that Bayer Leverkusen has sacked him today, and after a experiencing an unsuccessful season at Man united which led to his sacked, and after spending roughly 3 months plus at Bayer Leverkusen. He couldn't show any sign of change. Ten Hang should go and coache smaller teams and not big teams that he won't be able to manage.

I'm not a big fan of Ten Hag and wasn't particularly happy to see him as Leverkusen's manager, but sacking him after only two games seems overly harsh and simply unfair. Especially when it was the owners, not Ten Hag, who decided to sell their most valuable players.
This doesn't give the club a very professional appearance. But maybe there was a more nuance to the story, maybe they had a talk and realised he doesn't have any real long-term plan to improve the team. Or maybe they managed to get a bigger name on board.

The Werder game went pretty bad. A team aspiring to win the league cannot allow themselves to lose a 3-1 advantage playing with one man more against a weak team. Maybe it's best that Leverkusen decided to take action early, even if it seems too soon.

I believe this makes Ten Hag a record holder for the fastest managerial dismissal in Bundesliga history. He must be feeling really down right now.
