As expected, Leverkusen has taken a bold step to part ways with Eric Ten Hang after failing to get positive results from just few games he's managed this new season. One of the shortest serving manager in the history of coaching?

I remember one of the times at Manchester United he did mentioned that if he leaves Manchester United he was going elsewhere to win trophies and it did sounded at that point like Manchester United was the problem and not him. I agree he appears to be one of the shortest serving managers although I do not have records to back it but it appears most likely so and again ten Hag needs a break it looks like he is tactically depleted  so he need a break to comw back better, Leverkusen actually may not have needed to much from him but he just messed things up with the very poor start up performances.

Seriously, it's just too sudden truly. Most of us knew he would be sacked but I'm very certain non of us knew it will happen so soon. Was it even up to 3 official games incharge before this sack! The sacking was just too early and I don't understand how he was judged within such a short time, even though I don't really like the way Ten Hang manages his team, he would have been given more time at the job before eventually sacking him. Well the clubs management knows better why they did what they did.

Tolerance is the problem here because if some other teams can tolerate a coach lapses others who are deeply in a competition of growth might not give a second chance to the coach because they might be feeling that the longer the chance is more damage is going to cause them so cutting it when the time is extremely close is the best so that they would look for another capable hand to adjust it so actually that's how I'm just seeing this whole thing but however it was Bayern Leverkusen mistake for not knowing all this before signing considering his previous profile so actually they shouldn't act as if they didn't no about him.

Besides, Ten Hang is now left with players who are not the same as the ones Xabi work with and they shouldn't expect him to perform a miracle at this stage. He definitely needs more time to work on them for at least until the middle of the season. If teams should be doing it this way, it would be hard to get a coach in the future.

This sport has become so sensitive. Which team fires their coach after only 2 months, that's kinda ridiculous don't you think. Even if there is a disconnect with the team, first thing would be trying to figure things out. 2 months is nothing and trust and a good working relationship takes time to develop. Firing a coach so fast is a bad sign and really shows all the things that are wrong with this sport at the moment.

This is absolutely true because he could not see any good performance with Manchester United, while he has a lot of experience, but he was not able to improve the team in any way and in addition to that he has also played a very bad game with Leverkusen, due to which this coach needs to make a new good effort within himself, which will make him and the team he will work with successful. He needs rest, if he does not improve himself, everyone will avoid signing contracts with him, which may also spoil his future. Therefore, he will have to improve himself for some time and try successfully.

This is very good decision by Leverkusen, when you own a company and hire a manager to oversee the affairs of the company that you've build with your hard earned money, let's be factual on this, I don't think any excuses should be entertained from such manage espacially if that's the first time the manager is been employed in the company for such role, the club Eric Ten hag met was not a dieing club, the guys was  doing well before he came, so what happened and how would anyone think he will take the club to the next level after what he did in Manchester United, I love this decision, it came at the right time to save the club future.

I really agree with you because if he continues to take any chances it will ruin his career. Eric Ten Hang had suffered a lot which he have to take a break. I don't blame Bayern Leverkusen for taken that sudden decision because they might have that agreement before taken the job. Eric Ten Hang was a a very good coach before he came to Manchester United, his performance then is what makes Manchester United inviting him over but unfortunately he couldn't survive it despite Manchester United gave him enough time to recover but he couldn't. Well looking at all that has happened to ten Hag right from his day's at Manchester United and now Leverkusen it's appropriate that he should go for a break and have a self evaluation of how he has performed, and look at the areas that he didn't get it right but looking at the record of ten hag from his times at Ajax I think that he is a good coach it's just that both Manchester United and Leverkusen was not in the best times when he joined

I don't really blame Eric Ten Hag, i blame the management of Bayern Leverkusen for belittling him because how did they think that the team will survive after they sold all their major players. Eric Ten Hag somehow is also the cause of his misfortune because as a coach you should be able to do a background check of the team that wants to hire you as a coach and also put your own conditions like telling them that they will sign any player you want to be in the team so far as they can afford the transfer fee. When Ten Hag became coach at Manchester United, the team wasn't in a good shape, Ten Hag suffered the whole criticisms. If Eric Ten Hag was wise, he wouldn't have allowed what happened to him at Manchester United to happen to him again at any other club. Maybe he is just so eager for a coaching job and doesn't care about the circumstances that surrounded the team.

Erik ten hag couldn't manage Manchester United i was wondering how he would have managed Bayer 04 Leverkusen Erik ten hag to me he is not good enough current Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso did well when he was with Bayer 04 Leverkusen some fans will say it's because Bayer 04 Leverkusen sold out some of their good players Xabi Alonso made those players to be good Bayern Munich was dominating the league no one would believe that Bayer 04 Leverkusen will win the Bundesliga tittle with the players they had compare to what Bayern Munich has. It was supposed to happen, but I didn't think Leverkusen management would make this decision so quickly. Leverkusen management's decision is right because they know that if this manager is in charge of their club, the performance of this club will gradually deteriorate and Leverkusen will be at the bottom of the point table at the end of the season, which is probably why he was relieved of his duties. Until then, the assistant manager will take over Leverkusen's duties until Leverkusen can hand over the responsibility of their team to a good manager. I think Ten Hag could not do as good a job as an assistant coach can do for Leverkusen. The reputation of this manager is worse after losing his job at Manchester United. Now, no club in Europe will offer him the responsibility of manager.

I also think his early dismissal was better for the team. We haven't seen much positive development from Ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen. His dismissal isn't surprising to me. If he hadn't been dismissed, Leverkusen would have been in even worse shape. Ten Hag's next managerial position is likely the Netherlands.
