The departure of Xabi Alonso was indeed a regret to the club and hiring Erik Ten Hang as the head coach was the mistake then firing him was actually the exact way to correct it and now hiring Kasper Hjulmand is the wise decision to take, I strong believe he will bring back the team to it winning ways, I'm not really expecting a performance like that of Xabi Alonso but hopefully he won't disappoint, he's kind of play tactics and formation will definitely set back Bayern Leverkusen to their normal state, rather than that of Erik Ten Hang, like I really believe he can handle the job well.

There is hope for a better change to happen in Leverkusen. It is indeed unfortunate that their performance dropped under Ten Hag in such a short time. It is not impossible that the same thing could happen to Hjulmand if Leverkusen's performance does not improve. Xabi's departure is ine in which event Leverkusen had little to almost no power on it because at the time, they could only make him an offer but could not stop him and Madrid made him an offer that he found okay and went ahead to move from Leverkusen so at that time the mistake is on Leverkusen to have looked for a coach and sacking him within the shortest period that can be taught of. If they needed a better quality coach, they would have rather be patient and get one than that which they just dif with ETH.

The saga continues. I read that they appointed Kasper Hjulmand as the new manager. The club doesn't waste time and they act very quickly. I wonder if they were in talks with Hjulmand before they decided to say goodbye to Ten Hag.

Hjulmand's biggest success was leading Denmark to the Euro semi-finals in 2021. His club experience is mostly limited to Danish clubs, with the exception of leading Mainz in the 2014-15 season, when they finished 11th. Bayer Leverkusen have been a incredible team that poses threat to Bayern Munich and other elite aides, they were absolutely some random average club that had nothing to fight for until the board appointed Xabi who was ambitious to explore the team and made good use of the present players and today, the club had made accomplishment to boost with.

I agree, his performance was indeed a major difference. His combination of technique, playing vision, and contributions in crucial moments truly demonstrated a class that was hard to match. Leverkusen seemed to be taking a risky decision, as their strategy hadn't shown any convincing direction.
