Dortmund did all they could man, there is really nothing that they can do to make themselves any better. This is Bayern Munich we are talking about, no team they faced managed to beat them, furthermore, nobody even got a tie so far, Bayern managed to beat every single one of them. So expecting Dortmund to win over Bayern Munich would have bene asking for too much and would be not a great idea at all.

If we are expecting this to change, then first of all Bayern needs to get worse, because at this level there is no team that Bayern could lose to. Obviously there will be a game where they will just simply not care and end up losing, but until then, it is not going to be possible for Bayern Munich to lose any game they want to win, they are just way too good.

I knew that they were good but that doesn't mean that we are going to see this becoming an issue and we could see them being a very different team.

Kompany made them even better, sure winning most games was their level because they are a great team, being a leader was their destiny for being that good, but winning EVERY game? That is just a difference maker. At this point I feel like UCL is the only thing that can calm them down, because winning Bundesliga wouldn't even be enough when you are this good, they could lose some and still win Bundesliga, so if they are this much better than only UCL win could help them feel justified.

I agree that Bayern Munich in that year wasn't good but Bayer Leverkusen was pretty much great with Xabi Alonso and his stars.
These two leagues being farmer leagues, yeah it is normal just like Eredivisie and Brazilian league... It is a business that teams like Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen know very well and is very profitable.

Unless Bayer Leverkusen doesn't sell Wirtz and keeps Xabi, I'm sure the competition will remain very tight. What Bayer achieved last season with Xabi wasn't just luck, but Bayer is currently in top form.
But at least the Bundesliga is more interesting than Ligue 1. Although both are farmers' leagues, there are many clubs in the Bundesliga who are also trying to reach the top of the standings, and even if they ultimately fail, at least there's some temporary competition.

Maybe in other seasons, Dortmund could have gotten something from this game but not this season that Bayern Munich are in top form that no team has been able to defeat them. I was just looking at the statistics for this fixture and in other seasons, Dortmund has been able to win or draw with Bayern Munich but they were just not getting any of those results this season. Bayern Munich are on a mission to break lots of records this season and the coach and players are fully focused on achieving this. Bayern Munich dominated the whole game and Dortmund didn't stand a chance to win. From the possession to attempts at goal, It was all Bayern Munich dominating.

Now this is not due to money from Saudi Arabia, but the result of operating their business successfully and smartly. If Dortmund can retain their best players, Munich will struggle to dominate the Bundesliga. Even if they can it won't be easy. While Dortmund still have players like Guirassy and Adeyemi this season if the quality of their players isn't as evenly distributed as Munich's squad they will also struggle to compete with Munich.

It's safe to say that after this match, Munich secured a crucial victory over Dortmund. This victory puts Munich at the top of the standings and the points gap between them and second place is already significant. So it's safe to say that Munich will easily win the Bundesliga trophy this season. The season is still long but given Munich's current dominant performance their dominance in every match making it difficult for any team to beat them.
