Yesterday i saw the Eintrach Frankfurt Borussia Dortmund game for the DFB Pokal cup, and man it was a crazy game somehow, i mean the result was pretty narrow but both teams attack a lot and in the end of the regular time Eintrach have a few very good chances to win the game even they have a shoot into the woodwork from Doan.

Now Borussia has to play again for Bundesliga on friday lets see how much tired the players are.

Leverkusen will not finish like last year, or the year before obviously, they are not going great. They hired ETH at the start of the season when it was obvious he is a terrible manager, no idea why they did that, no idea what they were thinking, so this season will just go to recovering.

Considering the money they have spent this summer on players who are not worth that much, I would guess that they are going to have some trouble with the way things are, shouldn't be easy and should take a while. I think it's clear that we are not going to see them be any good. However, they may get better next season, with a better summer, and a better camp, that would not be a bad one and could be a decent situation for them next season.

They played 8 games, drew 5, and lost only 1. That's not a bad result. The problem for many people is that they don't see that in the season Leverkusen became champions, it was because they were lucky that Bayern and Dortmund were going through tough times, but in the following season, Bayern and Dortmund started to recover, and so did the other teams, so Leverkusen couldn't become champions.

It's not because they are weak, it's because their opponents have become stronger. This season they don't have performance problems, they are winning games, but their opponents are also winning games, which puts Leverkusen in 5th place, but they are very close in points to the top teams.

Franfurt tried their best to make sure Dortmund did not defeat them at home, but that did not happen after they went to a penalty kick. I really enjoy the match because both teams are very serious about winning the game. We all see Dortmund as the favorite to win the match, but I expect the match to be very difficult for Dortmund because Frankfurt is not a small team. Frankfurt is very strong at home, and they play in the same league as Dortmund, that is why they give them a tough game before Dortmund can win the game.

Dortmund wins the game, and they look to be very organised when they play currently, but they need to learn how to create chances and score goals. Goal scoring is what is affecting Dortmund when they play against big clubs like Bayern Munich, they have good performances at times, but no one believes they can win a trophy this season.

Leverkusen's situation has changed dramatically since the departure of their key players, including Xabi. And to this day, the club still hasn't found a way to get its performance back up. In fact, in the Bundesliga, they're no longer rivals with Bayern Munich, and Leverkusen can only manage 5th place. However, Leverkusen's recent results have been quite satisfactory, with 4 consecutive wins. This is quite good and represents an improvement in performance. However, due to their poor start to the season, they're still lagging behind in 5th place. We'll see if Leverkusen can at least climb into the top 3.

Tomorrow, Leverkusen will face Paderborn in the DFB-Pokal round 2. They should be able to win, but that's not guaranteed, as many top clubs in the DFB-Pokal are often underperforming.

However, it's undeniable that since Kasper Hjulmand's arrival, Leverkusen's performance has improved. Hopefully, they'll improve even further in the future; they're still trying.

Leverkusen is still trying to properly recover from all of the little set backs they are suffering from recent times, this new coach is actually trying his bet to get the team in the good shape they are supposed to be just like they were few seasons back,  obviously Bayern Munich is already far ahead and not in a place where Leverkusen can just catch up easily but they can actually attempt to see if they are going to finish in the top four this season, paderborn should not be a team that will give them so much to wori about, they have a better squad than paderborn does I suppose, so for this fixture I do not fear much except for unforseen circumstances.

Absolutely, it's not positive at all for several reasons: it's boring for everyone, all the teams know they have almost no chance to win the league unless they play the perfect season and Bayern Munich have a bad one, all the best players usually are bought by the same Bayern Munich this has a double effect: not only Bayern Munich gets better and better but you are leaving your competition without their best players.

I understand it's not Bayern Munich's fault of course but we can't say the Bundesliga in an interesting competition.

You are righ dude. It was a very competitive match. And there is no denying  that Dortmund was lucky. Frankfurt players  were more aggressive. They had a total of 16  shots, 7 of which were on target. On the other hand , dortmund players managed to make only 3 on target shots.

Dortmund will face Augsburg in their  next match. This is Augsburg's home match. Although Augsburg is not in good form this season. But FC augsburg won both matches against dortmund last season. So it will not be easy for Dortmund to  win this match. Augsburg's boys will be confident in their home match.

Bayern Munich has already taken over the Bundesliga points table. After playing only 6 matches, they have created a 5-point gap with the second-placed team. With Leverkusen, that gap is 7 points. That is, Bayern Munich has already left Leverkusen far behind. Kasper Hjulmand is trying hard to make Leverkusen as strong as before, but winning the title is very difficult for them this season. Yes. This was a very tight match that forced both teams into a penalty shootout, a test of luck, and Borussia Dortmund was the lucky one. Eintracht Frankfurt played very well in this match, playing in front of their home crowd, which indirectly added to their strength. It's no wonder Dortmund struggled to eliminate Frankfurt in the DFB-Pokal.

Dortmund won on penalties because all four Dortmund attackers converted their penalties, while the hosts only converted two of their four chances.

Bayern Munich are the only barrier to any club trying to win the German League, scaling performances from all clubs, Bayern Munich are undoubtedly overseeing other teams, Champions League position is the best any other competitive team can get.

While Dortmund entered the match as the favorites, Frankfurt ensured that they were made to sweat. The final score was 1-1 after 120 minutes of play, in which Dortmund prevailed 4-2 on penalties.

Frankfurt likely learned more from a loss than Dortmund did from a win. Frankfurt has been torn apart by Liverpool and Atletiko in Europe, everyone is writing them off, and then they go out and completely tactically outsmart Dortmund. They allowed Dortmund to keep the ball in places that did not count and then burst forward whenever they could. It was intelligent, disciplined football that was almost flawless. Doan shoots the post rather than the bar, or either of those penalties are in, and we are discussing a brilliant Frankfurt win

In the meantime, Dortmund... is just stuck. They control the possession but are unable to destroy anyone. Their wing-backs are unable to beat a man, their forwards are shooting blanks, and the only reason they are still in the cup is that Kobel had the game of his life. That's not sustainable

The point is, I do believe that Frankfurt is heading in the right direction. They were hard, structured, threatening. When they play that way all the time, they are climbing the table. But Dortmund? They are covering the cracks with personal brilliance. Eventually, that runs out. You cannot continue to require miracles and call it a system. The good fortune wears out sooner or later. And with the congestion of fixtures they are experiencing, perhaps later is this weekend

Yes the match was very even, as both teams were eager to win. I honestly expected a lot of goals between the two teams, considering that they often win by more than 2 goals in the Bundesliga. Perhaps the reason is that in the DFB the loser is immediately eliminated so they were very cautious in this match.

It seems like Bayern Leverkusen need to focus more, because this same team that you said wouldn’t be much of a problem has just won them 2–1 in the game. The painful part was that they scored all these goals with a red card. Although the game has not yet ended, I don’t see any hope for Bayern Leverkusen that they can equalize in this game anymore, because their performance is still poor. They need to work on that, to be honest, because their defense is still loose. Bayern Leverkusen need to do more, no doubt about that. I was disappointed in tonight’s game.

Paderborn was given a red card in the 58th minute and played with ten men for a long time. They conceded the goal that sent the match to extra time, but if they had been down to 11 men, they might have had a chance to advance. Unfortunately, despite putting up a great fight in a match that went to extra time with a lack of players, they conceded two goals just before the match went to penalties, resulting in their defeat and elimination. Leverkusen should learn a lot from this match. Never underestimate your opponents. They were almost eliminated from the cup.
