First of all well game from Augsburg they deserve the result that have gotten. I have to say Bayern Munich just displayed a disaster today which was a bad result from them if Bayern Munich wants to contest in UEFA champions league they have to be careful with this performance they just display today. 

I know we all expect bayern munich to win but this is not surprising. Augsburg is always a threat to Bayern Munich but we still expect bayern to get the 3 points easily? Although, I also had the same expectation but I also had the feeling it wasn't going to be easy for them. Bayern against Augsburg is never been easy because Augsburg plays with nothing to lose against Bayern that make them even more dangerous. The result was a fair one for both teams.

I don't know if VAR is here to make football more fairer or more complicated.

In my opinion, Bayern Munich got a poor result this week by drawing 2–2, especially given that Dortmund also dropped points. I had expected a better performance from them; they created numerous chances and racked up impressive stats but struggled to convert them into goals. Luis Díaz scored two spectacular goals, yet both were disallowed. Had the second disallowed goal stood, it would undoubtedly have been the goal of the season. A draw has never been a good result for Bayern. If things continue this way, this will be Kompany's final season.

Not this time! Losing $50 on Bayern certainly isn't what I expected, but I still think the bet was the right call. According to the statistics, Bayern dominated:

But fluctuations work, otherwise betting would be pointless. Dortmund maintained their two-point lead, and Freiburg will likely overtake Bayern as well by beating Schalke today. Incidentally, though, the bookmakers see something I don't - the odds of 1.72 for a Freiburg win are quite generous. In my view, given those goal statistics (3 - 4), Schalke ought to be closer to the relegation zone. Maybe they just don't believe things could be going so well for Freiburg.

You thought Bayern would be a good call and the whole idea is to make gamblers think exactly that. Schalke lost against Augsburg, but conceded two of those three goals after receiving a red card. Clean sheet against Bayern, win against Union Berlin away from home, clean sheet against Elversberg. You name it yourself, the fluctuations, I don't think it is impossible to tie the game against Schalke. I do agree that the odds of 1.72 seem to be quite good, but just think about how often Bayern would have disappointed you this season already. They messed up against Schalke and Augsburg and if somebody told you that six weeks ago, Bayern having two draws against those two teams, you wouldn't have placed a bet for any amount on that

Three out of four games with zero goals scored. This outweighs the clean sheet. If they played 2-2 every game, I would rate it higher. Freiburg score an average of 3 goals per game, they are definitely capable of more than just enduring.

I have been noticing Leipzig since the season started, and they always look strong at home and win games easily. However, when they play away matches, they always find it difficult to win.All three matches that Leipzig have played at home, they have won, even with many goals. They have not scored fewer than three goals in any of their home matches. However, they have also lost all their away matches in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.In yesterday match, I did not expect the game to be so easy for leipzig and  they would be able to score as many as six goals in the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. In their previous match, they scored five goals, which makes me wonder: Is it their fans who give them such a high level of motivation that makes them look so strong at home?I can't wait to see how they will perform in their Champions League match when they play at home.

Yes yes, I am with you here and I am not saying the odds for Freiburg are bad, it's actually pretty good value. But "weathering the storm" could exactly be what kills your bet slip in the end

Dortmund had five consecutive wins before handing over a point on a golden plate to Bremen. Since I prefer parlays, Freiburg would have definitely been a pick I'd consider. Especially since they are now in this exclusive position to take over the lead in the Bundesliga. It doesn't mean much overall, but can give the team some additional confidence. It's not very normal for them to lead the table after five games played and it would be well deserved.

Bayern had the opportunity to have won the game, but it was all thrown to the trash, and they were not playing with all seriousness even if they played draw i still expected a win from them, but the result was just not a satisfying one at all because they could have won, but no they gave augburg to many chances. Their defense was too open because, from what all of us watched, the defense of Bayern was not as strong as expected.

Kane did very well, but I still expected more, and it was towards the end of the game that Bayern was trying to score more goals because even Olise was trying to score, but it was already too late, and even a draw is not that bad.

Bayern Munich Isn't  invincible that they wouldn't they wouldn't find themselves at a point where they're are losing a game or fighting to make sure they just finish the game with a draw kick as the result of the Augsburg game today. If not for how much complete and structured the Bayern team is, it would have being a game that Bayern would have lost and not sharing points as a draw. I think the result by how the game almost would have being, the draw was more favourable for Bayern and bad for fans who may have picked them for a straight win in their bet.

Yea I watched the game, dude. And you're correct about Bayern Munich's domination of almost the entire time of the game, it's a classic performance about them in the bundesliga, dominating every game against any opponent. But what I mentioned that you didn't read right was that Bayern isn't invincible not to in anyway be with the tendency of losing a game in the league. As @Odohu mentioned, "he never knew Augsburg would be able to hold Bayern to a draw" that's just how football can be, that even the best team in the game could end at losing the game from a bad luck play.

You should be satisfied with the final result I know right. It’s actually the best result they could get, And I probably underrated the werder squad actually. 2-2 was not the kind of result I expected from the game. After the game play a goalless draw at firsthalf, I knew the goals will come in the second half because the pressing was obvious. The only reason I’m a bit disappointed now is that The game could  have have just ended 2-1 at least, I didn’t know how the hell Dortmund conceded that last late goal again to draw the match. I guess werder really fought hard. Sadly i was away from home so I didn’t get to watch the match, I was just following the live score update.

Im super happy with the result, but the best thing they could get would have been a win, obviously.   Werder is always good for a surprise and brutally strong when they want to and have to. They will grab their next three points next Saturday at home against Paderborn - hopefully, that will be a goal fest this time, yeah we want to hear the foghorn mates!

I don't think things will stay that way. We know Beyern, they are champions. They have always been the head in the Bundesliga, and am sure they will certainly bounce back. Beyern isn't afraid of any of the teams. I just feel Freiburg is just only there for a while. They would certainly drop. As for Dortmund, I don't really know, but they can't be trusted at all. Once you begin to have fate in them that they would make the competition strong and more competitive, they would start fumbling and begin to mess up.

So somehow, I just believe that Beyern would bounce back and get there usual glory. It just seems like every other team has left that champion position for them. There draw might just be a bad result for bettors who have put there hope on them. But for the trophy, I think they still have it.

No, but as a gambler I would ask myself the question: if Augsburg and Bayern were to play against each other ten times, how often would Bayern win? The mistake that happened is like an externality. No gambler would say "oh, what if in this game Neuer does the same mistake again?". Hoping for Neuer to make the same mistake again is actually real gambling, it is throwing darts with a blindfold, it is mostly irrational. Bayern would probably win eight times under normal circumstances.

As you can see, while I was busy talking about the theory (instead of placing a bet right away), the odds shifted even further in Freiburg's favor, and by placing the bet practically right before the match, I ended up with much worse odds. Well, I have no one to blame but myself, so I’ll at least be happy the bet won. I admit that Freiburg saved my ass by winning with a man down, but on the other hand, as you can see, Schalke couldn't even hold on to a draw even with advantage haha.

It was an outcome nobody expected from the two outstanding team on the league and with those club they both played such draw will not even be an imagination of any gamblers because even me I had already assume victory from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund before those games started but unfortunately for them there poor results has introduce Freiburg as there new competitor on the first position after beating Schalke 2:1, although since Schalke had only won one match I knew they would succumb to Freiburg, so probably if Schalke couldn't win Mainz on the next match then it will be most difficult for them on the season.

Nkunku was very comfortable on the pitch because it is a very familiar grass for him and he put on an absolute masterclass of a display yesterday. He feasted on the way the fans were rallying and motivating the team, it was a spectacular hat trick for him and I know he slept like a baby after that wonderful play. The home spirit helped Leipzig to stay sharp and confident enough for that dominant play, they completely outplayed and outperformed Frankfurt from every angle possible.

From what I have seen, there was one controversy where Kovac said that the referee applied double standards when he took back a goal that Dortmund scored before and when Fullkrug scored his goal. The issue was that he evaluated a minor touch of a Dortmund player against a Bremen player as a foul and when Bremen scored their second goal, something more intense happened and yet it was given for Bremen and against Dortmund.

This is not an excuse in the end because Dortmund should know how to save that two goals advantage until the final whistle is blown, but it is said to have had an impact.

Those smaller things can count and this was especially hurtful for Dortmund as they are soon playing against Bayern and they could have needed those points big time.

I watched some of the Borussia Dortmund match, and honestly they should have won based on how they played. Maybe they got a bit too comfortable and thought the game was already won, which gave Werder a chance to equalise.

As for Bayern, I think Neuer’s mistake right at the start ruined things for them. On the other hand, they still had the whole match to make up for it. But instead of winning comfortably, they had to come from behind twice. In both matches, I expected the favourites to win quite easily.

The game between Frankfurt and Leipzig was not fun to watch at all. I don't know what Frankfurt was actually doing in the field. I know they're bad and being an average team all this while but that was too terrible. If you can not score goals, you should be able to defend your goal post. Sorry to Frankfurt fans here, but that team is getting worse and worse.

Schalke was not up to the task to get a point in Freiburg yesterday. They had every chance to get at least a point even with a red card advantage but they couldn't hold it. You won't even noticed the red card on Freiburg because they played without allowing it to destabilise them. Schalke deserved to lose because if you can't take advantage of red card to mount pressure on the opponent, I don't know how else you intend to win.
