Leverkusen is a finished club. From winning the league unbeaten in 2023/2024. I was hoping the club would get better and better. I'm disappointed to see how Leverkusen has fallen to pieces as a club.

Bayern Leverkusen couldn't score a single goal against Hoffenheim. That's the level this club has fallen to.

After Leverkusen lost to Hoffenheim this further proves that they are no longer a team to be feared by any opponent in fact Leverkusen has become just an average team. Even after Alonso departure I already consider Leverkusen no longer a rival to Munich and Dortmund.

After coach Alonso left for Madrid and Leverkusen was left by its star players that's when Leverkusen gradually went back to their original state which was just an average team. When Alonso left Leverkusen players lost their rhythm while playing. This is similar to Leicester City in the EPL after they won the league Leicester City started selling players and after that, they became a bottom table team and now they have dropped to division 3. Fortunately Leverkusen is still consistently staying in the top 4, but if their play is the same as when they faced Hoffenheim it's not impossible that they could lose their spot in the top 4 this season.

I don't see any advantage of bayern Munich performance to Dortmund now, bayern Munich is in a very good position to win this trophy because if you can look at the table, they are 3 points away from Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich have not play their match which I believe it will be a victory for them. Just as you said it  Dortmund are not consistent that is why I don't have too much support for them, because at the end they will fail someone. If assuming the league is about to end then I will say that dortmund will try harder to maintain that position, but right now I don't see that on them which I still back Bayern Munich in winning the trophy.

And so it can be said that in the next match we will see Bayern Munich go 3 points ahead. Actually, there is no team in the Bundesliga that can compete with Bayern very hard, last season Bayern was the champion and Dortmund was in second place, but the difference between them was 16 points.

I don't think the player's attitude has anything to do with the position he finished in the just concluded voting during the Ballon d'Or award, sometimes the recipient of the awards seem not to be deserving but it the will of the voters that matters and you can't question their opinion, they choose Harry Kane over Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe which is not much of a surprise to me.
What's surprising was the fact that the young Spanish sensation finished third after Mbappe even after winning three major trophies with some beautiful goals and assists, I can't say the Ballon d'Or is losing its credibility but can only question the changes in criteria for choosing the winners and runner up at every point in time.

Olise was way better than most players ranked above him, considering his performance for club and country so I think that was the only unjust ranking im my opinion. He should be ranked top 5 in the Ballon D'or,  ahead of Dembele, Rodri and Kvaratskhelia, it was still surprising to see that Rodri was top 5 in the Ballon D'or ranking.

Majority players performed pretty well individually but without trophies, and that placed them below the others. Mbappe has ranked top 10 in the last ten years in the Ballon D'or competition, that's top tier consistency and I really hope he wins the next Ballon D'or.

The performance in this match was a bit below expectations compared to the good quality of play that the team played under Xabi Alonso. However, I would not call Leverkusen a mediocre team based on the result of this one match at least. Neither team could score in the beginning of this match. Hoffenheim's first goal came in the 79th minute, also from a penalty by Andrej Kramaric. The second goal came in the 89th minute and the third goal came in the sixth minute of added time. The 3-0 scoreline may make it seem like Leverkusen were behind the whole match, but in reality, three goals were scored in the last 12 minutes. But you also have to consider that Leverkusen are in fourth place after 7 matches. Even before the loss to Hoffenheim, they were undefeated in 5 matches in a row.

The way Kane has pulled the whole team with his best on the field is truly extraordinary. If we talk about individual performance, the way Kane has scored one goal after another is commendable. He has kept himself consistent under pressure in difficult moments for the team and won matches, no one has come close to his individual performance. Mbappe is undoubtedly a great player; there is no doubt about that. But he could not maintain that consistency throughout his time for Real Madrid, sometimes he lost consistency. So, Bayern's team success and Kane's excellent individual performance both make him the worthiest candidate for this award. Kane fully deserves this award.

After Xabi Alonso departure from the team, they went ahead to selling their key players like the main players that actually won them the league title and they were left with few, and Victor Boniface has turn into injury prone, so what do you expect from them, how they managed to keep this long in the league should be enough for them to rejoice with, because they have nothing more to offer, talk more of being a threat to Bayern Munich and Dortmund, hell no they are not, they should just focused on how not to get relegated because I don't really expect anything more from them now.

Do you know that there was a time that people where even saying that Michael Olise deserves the Ballon d'Or. Olise is a great player but his performance is not enough, he needs more improvement and also stay disciplined. With the kind of situation that Leverkusen are facing now it will be difficult to rebuild their performances the way they are before, because ever since Xavi Alonso left the club their performances has not been going well anymore even a teams that you won’t expect to defeat them find them very easy to win. Honestly, I have no problem with Kane winning, congratulations to him, but Olise finishing 9th is crazy to me, The guy was one of the best creators in the Bundesliga, had an incredible Champions League campaign and then broke the World Cup assist record. Like, what more was he supposed to do? I get that the Ballon d’Or considers the whole season, trophies and individual impact, but surely performances like that deserve more recognition. Honestly, I'm disappointed with Alonso because after succeeding with Leverkusen when he got an offer from Madrid, he accepted it without thinking long term. Maybe if Alonso hadn't taken Madrid offer back then, Leverkusen would still be strong and the players would have stayed. Alonso had actually made a huge history at Leverkusen and even in the Bundesliga, by winning the title for the first time without being defeated.

Losing a coach of course Leverkusen loses the rhythm or spirit of the competition that's what is happening to Leverkusne at the moment. Indeed, Leverksuen can still stay in the top 4, but they can no longer compete in the race for the championship because their performance is inconsistent. This season's Bundesliga matchup will be between Muchen and Dormunt and interestingly, in week 8 the two teams face each other. Statically and deeply, Muchen squad is superior let alone playing at times alone, but I hope Dortmund can bridle a triangular resistance at least be able to hold a draw so that the Bundesliga match is even more interesting.
