"Offline" is probably not the best word for it. Web wallet means you're using a web service like Coinbase or Circle. Using those services isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is trusting them in the same way you would a bank. They control your private keys, which means they control your Bitcoin. If they wanted to lock you out of your account or steal your Bitcoin they could. If you use a mobile wallet like Mycelium or Copay or if you use a desktop wallet like Electrum or Armory you're in control of your private keys. This puts all the power and responsibility in your hands. Your Bitcoin are still on the Blockchain. They aren't contained anywhere. They aren't "offline".

On my desktop I use Multibit. Never had any problems whatsoever.
Currently I don't use a wallet on my mobile, don't trust much my phone i guess Cheesy

I'm never use multibit or offline bitcoin wallet. how is offline bitcoin wallet works ? because bitcoin is online money and how to save your bitcoin with offline wallet ?  Huh
All of Bitcoins and transactions records are saved on the blockchain, not on any devices or computer. Wallets like multibit or mobile one just connect to Bitcoin nodes which save the whole blockchain and verify the transactions for you!

Best "offline" is the paper wallet if you do it you throw it in security deposit box.  You send to it and have the private key if you ever need to import to spend (at that point you lose security though).

Some do things like RPI that is offline just only plug in when spending.  But I think paper wallet is easiest to understand.  If you search it lots of good info to do it right and secure.

Yes it's possible and somehow a good measure so your coins are not just in one basket. Depends on the user's purpose and use. Online wallet for faster transactions then offline storage for saving and holding purposes.

Absolutely. I use several.

You can and some can be more secure then others.  For example you can use Mycellium and have a hot wallet for spending.  But the neat thing is with it you can use a hardware wallet on android, so you can send securly on phone from your hardware wallet if it supports it.

Here is TREZOR doing it.  With it you have normal hot wallet to use then if you needed more you could use your hardware wallet on android. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1298917.msg13321397#msg13321397

harizen, subcypher and notlist3d THANKS voor your answers

now, at this moment I know that I do a good thing by using more wallets, AND

the answer from notlist3d is, i think very useful, thanks, but to difficult for me

this is the case: I ONLY HAVE BLOCKCHAIN ON MY LAPTOP, AND WORKING
I think I've worked the wrong way arround, or not?

AFTER THAT, I tried to get BLOCKCHAIN APP (from google play) to my SMARTPHONE, but it does not work, I think...
Every time at the moment of scanning, the app stops, on my android LG

Maybe, I should not have set blockchain on my laptop?
Living in The Netherlands makes me feel, retarded in comparison with usa

PFFF.... makes me crazy

in other words, it is really working on my laptop, but not on my cell phone
in other words, now that I have blockchain on my laptop, is it now a fact that I have the wallet on my laptop?

Do not feel this way. There is a learning curve, but there is help available.

I've not used the blockchain wallet, but I'd be willing to give it a shot and write a tutorial. I can't do it right now, but I'll take a look when I get home. It sounds like the Android app may have a problem with your phone for one reason or another. This is one reason I recommend Copay as a wallet for both desktop and mobile.

It is true you don't get it in a day, most people have been around a LONG time and there are still new things you learn.  That is part of what makes bitcoin so fun to me.

Are you saying you are using the blockchain.info website to be your wallet? Just trying to make sure I understand.

subcypher, thanks in advance, may be my cell phone is to old, to unsophiticated, to slow

I like to use the wallet on my cell phone, called: Bitcoin Wallet, the yellow icone with the slanted B in it, with 2 stripes

I think this, (the BLOCKCHAIN stuff on my laptop and the BITCOIN WALLET on my cell phone), should make a good couple,
because than I can put some BTC from desktop (on line, hot, blockchain) to smartphone (on line, hot, bitcoin wallet)

And, after a few months, I like to create some paper wallet (cold wallet?), but that is for the future....

notlist3d, I saw your comment, and I surely DO understand what you say about one day and so on,
I remember that in 1990, when I was troubling with the internet on a 14.4 K modem , hahahaha, and yes it was fun,
and yes, I am using that blockch.info website to be my wallet, at this moment, is that dangerous?

For PC , I  use Electrum since it's easy to use and beginner friendly.

In android I heard that trezor is a good program to put your bitcoin there.

For safer choice, I suggest Paper Wallet or Hardware Wallet since it's Safer.

Bitcoin wallets are very convenient for all all wallet users because Offline wallets like multibit or electrum are have good features to import your bitcoin, wallet and private keys. In desktop wallet I would suggest you to go for Electrum because It very efficient to work in low internet connection as well.

If you have it all over like this make sure you treat it like a hot wallet for daily spending.  To have on android is just a not great idea if you have big holdings.

If you do have bigger holdings and need android look at a hardware wallet that works with myccellium.  It is much safer then having private key on phone.
