The original Bitcoin Core wallet is the best. Only bad thing it takes an age to sync.

If you can afford the sync time and the bandwidth and the disk  space, go for the core, the less error prone wallet around

If you have a paper wallet you could use it with most wallet's.   That is the beauty of paper wallet's.  As long as you don't spend them do it right you are secure and can use many different wallets.

If you need use I really have switched more to hardware.  Depending on your holdings I really suggest people looking at them.

Most users do not want to have to maintain a full node. If you are going to use a web wallet you may as well use Coinbase with 2FA enabled.

Paper wallets seem like a good idea but you really have to know what you are doing if you spend from one. There have been way too many stories of users losing bitcoin because they do not understand how change addresses work.

For less than $20 you can buy a Ledger HW.1 for use on your laptop. Download the Ledger Wallet Mobile App to your phone and you do not need to use the security card. Two years ago if you wanted a hardware wallet you had to use Armory on two computers, one always kept offline.

I do not like these centralized services which does not give the use any access to his private keys. I do not consider it a wallet as you do not have the control on your btc. it is just a payment site like PayPal, PM , etc...

blockchain.info is online wallet. it is simple and can use everywhere but online wallets not too safe. i advise to shelter small amounts bitcoin on online wallets. i am using offline wallets because more safety.

I would argue that that is not the best cold storage. I think paper wallet if done right is better.  You control it and can import into ton's of different wallet's when needed.

I am moving more and more twords hardware wallets.  But I still see value in paper wallets to.
